Federated States of Micronesia: The country’s official name is the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). It comprises over 600 islands spread across the western Pacific Ocean north of the equator. Micronesia’s government is safeguarding communities vulnerable to the effects of climate change through various initiatives.
