Spiritual Unity - In Honor of World Religion Day

On the third Sunday of January each year, a wonderful event is celebrated in many places around the globe called World Religion Day. Established by the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'is of the United States in 1949, World Religion Day promotes awareness of our world’s major religions and also acknowledges the importance each one has in the concept of a harmonious planet. Followers of every religion are encouraged to understand and appreciate the similarities and differences between faiths through a variety of events held around the globe.
