The Maloti-Drakensberg Park is renowned spectacle of nature, adorned with beautiful rock arches, cliffs, pillars, and rock pools. This site is well-known for its and rock-shelters, housing an amazingly concentrated number of ancient cave paintings that give a glimpse into the spiritual lives of the indigenous San tribe, who resided in the area four millennia ago. This national park is also endowed with great biological diversity, important floral species, and a large variety of animal wildlife that includes endangered species.
