Dancing with the Divine in Bali, Indonesia

Many Balinese believe that dancing for God is a spiritual practice, to be expressed as a longing for liberation from the suffering of reincarnation in this mundane world. They worship God through music and dance during temple ceremonies, weddings and funerals.
