In a big bowl, combine 500 grams (3 cups) of any kind of chopped tomatoes, 45-60 grams (3-4 tablespoons) of any type of finely chopped fresh herbs such as basil, oregano, thyme, rosemary, or chives, 1-2 cloves of garlic that have been minced or pressed, 3 grams (½ teaspoon) of salt, and 1 gram (¼ teaspoon) of black pepper. Toss everything together and let it sit for 10 to 20 minutes at room temperature so the flavors can marinate. Next, bring a big pot of water to boil and cook 400 grams (14 oz) of any type of pasta as per the package’s instructions. Once it’s cooked, drain the pasta and transfer it back into the empty pot. Pour in the fresh tomato mixture and stir everything together to combine, and let it sit for a few minutes before eating.
