In today’s news, Ethiopia receives an additional US$80 million in humanitarian assistance from United States Agency for International Development, climate study warns “critical” for world to end deforestation by 2025 to keep Earth from overheating, innovative recycling program in Panama’s prison changes lives of inmates, Australian scientists discover method to improve charging performance of lithium-sulfur batteries, United States philanthropic environmental fund to invest in alternative protein development, Japanese company turns apple waste into fabric, and fox-person saved after car accident in Ontario, Canada.

Yew trees are compact and will help make your landscaping look wonderful all year as well as add value to your property. They are perfect to line flower beds or walkways, creating fencing for privacy. They also function as natural air purifiers. Research has demonstrated that yew trees are especially effective at trapping dust and harmful particles via their little, needle-like leaves that have a porous, rough texture. The rain will eventually wash these pollutants away, resulting in healthier and cleaner air. However, as the seeds, bark, and leaves of these trees are poisonous, children and pet-people should be kept away or monitored when around them.
