Stan Lee won numerous accolades during his prolific career. In 2008, he received the prestigious National Medal of Arts. In 2010, he founded The Stan Lee Foundation to provide literary resources, arts programs, and education to people of all ages, while promoting diversity, literacy, culture, and the arts. He had lived a brilliant, meaningful 95 years. “That person who helps others simply because it should or must be done, and because it is the right thing to do, is indeed without a doubt a real superhero.” - Stan Lee
