From the Gnostic Nag Hammadi Library: Excerpts from The Gospel of Truth, Part 1 of 2

From the Gnostic Nag Hammadi Library: Excerpts from The Gospel of Truth, Part 1 of 2

We'll now explore a selection from the Gospel of Truth, a gnostic scripture, part of the Nag Hammadi Library. The author of the book is unknown, whereas it is suggested that it was written by a disciple of the Valentinian Gnostic movement, or even by Valentinus himself. Valentinus was a prominent Egyptian theologian from Early Christianity who founded the Gnostic movement Valentinianism in the 2nd century. Here, as we begin to understand the great love of Lord Jesus Christ as He watches over God's children, we can also start to see that trusting in God's will is necessary to be in complete union with Christ.“Say, then, from the heart, that you are the perfect day, and in you dwells the Light that does not fail. Speak of the truth with those who search for it, and (of) knowledge to those who have committed sin in their error. Make firm the foot of those who have stumbled, and stretch out your hands to those who are ill. Feed those who are hungry, and give repose to those who are weary, and raise up those who wish to rise, awaken those who sleep. For you are the understanding that is drawn forth. If strength acts thus, it becomes even stronger. Be concerned with yourselves; do not concerned with other things which you have rejected from yourselves.”

The Songs of Kabir (vegetarian): Selections from 1 to 26, Part 1 of 2

The Songs of Kabir (vegetarian): Selections from 1 to 26, Part 1 of 2

Kabir was a great Indian poet who was fully devoted to the Creator. He was a Saint who not only endeavored to live the Truth, He wrote about it through His divine gift of verse. A weaver by profession, Kabir is considered as one of the world’s greatest poets and one of the most quoted authors. Kabir’s message is universal. Perhaps that is why many still revere Kabir as a Saint, whether they are a Sikh, Hindu, Muslim or modern spiritual seekers. We would now like to invite you to be sublime in the beautiful spiritual poetry selected from “The Songs of Kabir.” “Bathe in the truth, know the true Guru, have faith in the true Name!” “The moon shines in my body, but my blind eyes cannot see it: The moon is within me, and so is the sun. The unstruck drum of Eternity is sounded within me; but my deaf ears cannot hear it. So long as man clamours for the I and the Mine, his works are as nothing: When all love of the I and the Mine is dead, then the work of the Lord is done.”

Understanding the Mayan Calendar: Selections from “The Book of Destiny: Unlocking the Secrets of the Ancient Mayans and the Prophecy of 2012” by Don Carlos Barrios (vegetarian), Part 2 of 3

Understanding the Mayan Calendar: Selections from “The Book of Destiny: Unlocking the Secrets of the Ancient Mayans and the Prophecy of 2012” by Don Carlos Barrios (vegetarian), Part 2 of 3

In today’s program, we are going to explore the meaning of the Mayan signs governing each day of the Mayan months. Don Carlos Barrios wrote the following about the significance of the 13 months in the Cholq’ij calendar: The 13 numbers are conceptualized similar to a pyramid. From numbers 1 to 7 we are climbing with much effort. At the number 8 we are in a position where perfect harmony is possible and on the top of the pyramid, and 9 to 13 is directed downhill, creating more ease with the energies, as they are no longer so forceful in developing us. This varies slightly between men and women: for men, 8 is considered to be the top of the pyramid as they are considered to typically be more balanced physically and have to struggle more to reach the spiritual levels than women, where 9 is the top of the pyramid, where they are typically thought to be slightly less stable in the physical realms but have an easier time accessing the spiritual. “Our Grandfathers warn that this ancient tradition is not to be treated as a curiosity, not to be indulged in as a form of entertainment, and not to be used selfishly. Instead, it should guide our growth on all levels - physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual. Mayan life and spirituality are built on understanding and using the following signs, which governed the Classic Mayan world and have been preserved by our traditional Elders. On August 17, 1992, the planet entered a new cycle, one of comprehension, wisdom, and harmony. This new cycle is a time of great change in the world’s social and economic structure. For this reason, the doors of Mayan wisdom are being opened to humankind. Now that the period of darkness has ended, the Elders have resolved to publish the Mayan signs as an instrumental way of understanding our true purpose. The hope is that everyone will orient their life based on their sign and follow Saq B’e (the White Road). Respect for historical accuracy is one of the strictest and most important rules: not a single word is ever added to or removed from our texts or oral tradition. This book (The Book of Destiny) is a commitment to reality - that is, to our Grandfathers’ vision. Although as human beings we have many limitations, we can find a way to overcome them in the depth and transcendence to be found in these signs. The task of using the signs in one’s personal life, however, requires a real desire to conform to a new way of life that balances technology and harmony with nature.”

From Godfré Ray King’s Unveiled Mysteries – Revealed Ancient Wisdom by Ascended Master Saint Germain (vegetarian), Part 2 of 2

From Godfré Ray King’s Unveiled Mysteries – Revealed Ancient Wisdom by Ascended Master Saint Germain (vegetarian), Part 2 of 2

Today, we continue with a selection from Guy Warren Ballard’s, or Godfré Ray King’s book “Unveiled Mysteries.” “When one allows his mind to dwell upon thoughts of hate - condemnation - lust - envy - jealousy - criticism - fear - doubt - or suspicion - and allows these feelings of irritation to generate within him - he will certainly have discord, failure and disaster in his mind, body and world. As long as he persists in allowing his attention to be held by such thoughts - whether they be about nations - persons - places - conditions - or things - he is absorbing those activities into the substance of his mind, his body, and his affairs - in fact he is compelling - forcing - them into his experience.”“The Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit is the feeling side of Life - God - the Activity of Divine Love - or the Mother Expression of Deity. This is why the sin against the Holy Ghost is referred to - as that which brings such great distress - because any discord in the feeling breaks the Law of Love - which is the Law of Balance - Harmony -and Perfection.” “The greatest crime in the Universe against the Law of Love is humanity’s almost ceaseless sending forth - of every kind of irritable and destructive feeling.”“He - who cannot or will not control his thoughts and feelings - is in a bad way - for every door of his consciousness is wide open to the disintegrating activities - thrown off by other minds and the emotions of other personalities. It takes neither strength, wisdom nor training to give way to unkind, destructive impulses, and the full-grown human beings who do this are but children - in their development of self-control.”“However - no matter how much effort it takes to bring these two activities under control - it is worth any amount of time and energy expended - and no Real - Permanent - Dominion - of one’s Life and world can take place without it. It will be my pleasure and privilege to teach you the use of these Higher Laws, and their application will enable you to release True Wisdom and bring about All Perfection.”

From “Spiritual Gems” – Spiritual Letters from Hazur Maharaj Sawan Singh Ji (vegetarian) to Disciples and Seekers, Part 1 of 2

Baba Sawan Singh Ji was an Indian Saint and enlightened Master. Baba Sawan Singh Ji spiritually awakened many people through imparting the practice of Surat Shabd Yoga. Today, He is still loved and venerated as “The Great Master.” Today, we are honored to read you excerpts from the letters of the Great Master who shared some of His priceless spiritual guidance on meditation, that is, on how one’s soul can overcome the temporal world and ascend to a higher spiritual realms. “To give up worldly pleasures, to control the senses and bring the attention in one center by controlling the wild runs of the mind while still alive and kicking, is not an easy task. But what is it that with love and faith man cannot accomplish? You strengthen your will power and go ahead. Success is sure. Remember that once the seed of Nam has been planted, it must become a tree and bear fruit.”

Meeting the Master: From Godfré Ray King’s Unveiled Mysteries – The Dominion and Majesty of Ascended Master Saint Germain (vegetarian), Part 1 of 2

Guy Warren Ballard was a United States mining engineer and a co-founder, together with his wife Edna Anne Wheeler Ballard, of the “I AM” spiritual movement, inspired by his life-changing meeting with the Ascended Master Saint Germain. Following this enlightening encounter, Mr. Ballard devoted his life to spreading the Master’s wisdom, according to his capacity. From Master Saint Germain’s dictation and teachings, Mr. Ballard wrote a series of books under the pseudonym Godfré Ray King. Master Saint Germain’s imparted spiritual knowledge was the basis for many lectures given by Mr. Ballard, as well as for the founding of the “I AM” Religious Activity in the early 1930s. By 1938, it had up to one million followers. Today, the volumes documenting the precious mysteries revealed by the Ascended Master to Godfré Ray King are still a fascinating spiritual gem for many across the globe. The three most famous volumes are titled “Unveiled Mysteries,” “The Magic Presence,” and “The ‘I AM’ Discourses.”Today, we will read an excerpt from Guy Warren Ballard’s, or Godfré Ray King’s book “Unveiled Mysteries.” “Remember always – ‘One becomes - that - upon which he meditates’ - and since all things have come forth from the ‘Light’ - ‘Light’ - is the Supreme Perfection - and Control - of all things.” “Contemplation and adoration of the ‘Light’ compels Illumination to take place in the mind - health, strength, and order to come into the body - and peace, harmony, and success to manifest in the affairs of every individual - who will really do it, and seeks to maintain it.”“All the way down the centuries - in every age, under every condition - we are told by all who have expressed the greater accomplishments of Life that - the ‘Light’ is Supreme - the ‘Light’ is everywhere - and in the ‘Light’ - exist all things.” “To any who are of that opinion, I wish to say simply this: ‘The time the average person spends in criticizing, condemning, and blaming - people, conditions, and things - for not being something other than they are - if occupied with this recognition and use of the “Light” - will make Heaven manifest on Earth - for the individual who dares to try and has determination enough to maintain it. Nothing is impossible. The “Light” never fails.’”

From “Spiritual Gems” – Spiritual Letters from Hazur Maharaj Sawan Singh Ji (vegetarian) to Disciples and Seekers, Part 2 of 2

We now continue with letter 115, a message of spiritual advice and encouragement from the Great Master in reply to a devoted disciple. This letter was published in the treasured collection titled “Spiritual Gems.” “No article of this world, nor friends nor relations go with us; even our body does not accompany us after death. Then why worry about those who will not accompany us?” “The [inner Heavenly] Sound Current and the Master are within you. You need no other company. …The greater the solitude, the better. There is no better luck than solitude.” “Try to lift the veil within and try to taste the spiritual joy, compared to which all the worldly designs and inventions are insignificant and valueless. He who has torn the veil within and brought the mind under control, has conquered all the world and the whole world is under his order.”

Selections from the Writings of Chatral Sangye Dorje Rinpoche (vegetarian), Part 1 of 2 – The Benefits of Saving the Lives of Other Beings

Tibetan Buddhism is a religion with a rich cultural heritage that emerged from a wide range of spiritual practices. Born in Tibet in 1913, Chatral Sangye Dorje Rinpoche left home as a young teen, traveling on foot to study and practice with several highly respected spiritual Masters of the time. As a strict vegetarian himself, Chatral Rinpoche also rescued millions of fish that had been destined for slaughter by purchasing them and then releasing them into a protected area of the Indian Ocean. During his life and since his passing at age 102, Chatral Sangye Dorje Rinpoche is considered among the most highly realized Tibetan Buddhist Masters. Today, we present to you an excerpt from the writings of Chatral Sangye Dorje Rinpoche, “The Benefits of Saving the Lives of Other Beings.” “And countless learned and accomplished masters of India and Tibet Have emphasized the value and importance of benefitting beings. The reasoning behind this is as follows: in this world, Nothing is as dear to someone as his or her own life, So there is no greater crime than taking life away, And no conditioned virtue bring greater merit Than the act of saving beings and restoring their lives. Lamas, officials, monks, nuns, men and women, In all the places over which you have control, Exert every influence and do all within your power To release animals and restore their lives, While encouraging others to do the same.”

The Reunion of Souls: Gathering with Association Members after the Lecture, Part 10 of 11

20:51

The Reunion of Souls: Gathering with Association Members after the Lecture, Part 10 of 11

I am only one, but all of you feel that I love you alone, love enough, or have enough love for everyone. It is because we practice the way of love and we just know how to have enough. It’s just like how to save money to become richer – not because you earn more money, not necessarily, but you save more. Some people keep telling me, “It’s difficult to know if you’re a true Master or not.” I said, “Hey, it’s good! It’s good that you don’t know, so I don’t have to work so hard!” No problem! I only do it just because you ask me to, or people ask me to. How can you tell? You look like me – your nose is in the middle and two eyes and two ears – you can’t tell. And, I don’t make miracles; I don’t make anything to attract you at all. I just sit in a coffee shop, sometimes drinking... and if you want, I come here sometimes, to talk to you.But I was thinking in the coffee shop, it was so difficult. I said, “Who? What? What am I going to talk about? And who will listen to all this?” I suddenly felt the frustration of going to talk to strangers that you have never met before in your life, and they are going to be convinced, and then go get initiation, and eat vegetarian (vegan), and all that stuff all that stuff for all their lives. Can you believe that? Yeah! Not only that, they’ll bring their friends, their wives and kids, and they want to give everything to you. How do you do that?... I mean, how do I do that? I mean, how am I going to do that?Today I sat in the coffee shop just like everyone else, and I felt really like everyone else. And I thought, how am I going to talk to these people that I have never met, and might never meet again? And they don’t even know anything about spirituality, no vegetarian (vegan) experience, nothing. Maybe now and again they eat... French fries and that’s what they call vegetarian (vegan), because they don’t want to eat anything else. Or like the Chinese people, eat morning vegetarian (vegan), and the whole day... for example like that. They’re morning Buddha, and the whole day take a rest, vacation... Yeah, but at least the Chinese or the Vietnamese, the Asian people, they kind of have more idea about vegetarian (vegan), yeah? They believe more in the invisible power. But how am I going to talk to the New Zealand people? You know, they are different, and I look different to them. I just come in and they accept me, for example, you know, like that. It’s just not easy eh? I was thinking hard how am I going to do that?(This is for the half initiation...) Ok, go! (We want the half initiation to come in there.) Congratulations! Whoever is half initiated or want to sit again, go in there. You’d rather sit here. (Yes. We love You.) You want initiation, guys? Oh, that’s nice. She likes to sit wherever. Very tired. So everyone went in already? (Yes.) That’s cool. I just go to say hallo, again. Let them... Oh, man. I don’t know. OK, let’s see what’s going on. Come back soon. (Thank You. Thank You, Master.) You’re welcome. Here, darling. Leave her alone. Leave me alone. Everybody is so tall like that. So late already and force her. Sorry honey, it’s all my fault. We’ll take the flowers for the sacrifice. All right. What else? It’s OK? I think it’s OK. Tong? Tong. Is Tong here? (She is downstairs.) Downstairs, where? (She is downstairs. I will go get her.) Tell her to hurry up.You are off and on…At least you sit together and encourage each other to nod off, better than you sit there and “nod” alone; it’s lonely, right? So then, you have maybe more kids, work harder than before, have more money, some of you, better jobs, or even if you have the same money, you know how to manage it better, and you have more than before. You travel more than you ever did before and with the same money, because you know how to... Sit here mother! You do look tired. Yeah! There, there it is. And you know... you just know how to do things better and therefore, you’re just happier. You have more than before, even though it may be the same.I have read an article in a magazine, “How to become a millionaire.” Do you want to hear? Is Tong here? (She’s over here.) Come here, Tong. (Everyone is going to beat me up later.) Hurry up and disguise yourself. OK.It is very logical. We give a lot of money away – not a lot – for us it’s a lot. Well, Actually, it is also a lot, millions of dollars is not little money in this world. Even though we can’t compare to Bill Gates, we are different “gates”. We are also “gates” – “Quan Yin Fa-men”! “Quan Yin Fa-men” means “the gate to Heaven,” “the gate to the Word of God.” So, anyhow, we’re also “gates”.We also donate a lot of money for our capacity. Other people also think it’s a lot, I mean not a lot compared to a lot of others, a lot of people or the World Bank, but a lot for what we earn, or for the ordinary actions of people. Most people don’t give like that. So I do give, and a lot of people think that I am very rich – and I am also, but I am not as rich as they think I am, which is good; but if they had come to us... Suppose, if they were me and had that kind of money, they wouldn’t look that rich and they be able to give that much; not because they don’t want to, it’s just they don’t know how to manage – you see? – don’t know how to manage so that it will stretch out like that.So when I read that article, I thought it was cool! I did it all already. “How to become a millionaire,” I knew it all already. But when I read that article, it looked like I wrote it myself! Yeah! Because it’s just natural. Some people have it naturally, but it is because we are also enlightened, we also practice the enlightened way and the way of love, and we have very few wants in this world. Are you... You understand all of this? (Yes.) Yeah? The Chinese and the Cantonese and all? And the New Zealanders especially, you understand? OK. So, anyway. You see, just like the way you are now. Before, you had a lot, but you thought you didn’t have enough, and now, however much you have, you can manage; you still can come to New Zealand or Thailand, or wherever the retreat, provided you have holidays. You can always manage, and that’s the wonder - and you feel always enough and you feel always loved. I am only one, but all of you feel that I love you alone, love enough, or have enough love for everyone. It is because we practice the way of love and we just know how to have enough. It’s just like how to save money to become richer – not because you earn more money, not necessarily, but you save more. You want less of the unnecessary things and then you save more money, so when you save one dollar, it’s just like you earn one more dollar, and it’s even better than earning one dollar more, because when you save one dollar, you don’t need to go to work for that. You just cut out some unnecessary things. Before, you’d go out and buy everything; now you have to think carefully. Before, you’d go out and buy everything, now you go just straight to the tofu – save money, save time, save making it. Before, we cooked all kinds of things, now just tofu, chap choy, and then tomorrow, chap choy, tofu. Simple. Simple life. And before, you’d go everywhere, maybe you’d need to book a hotel for yourself and your husband, and it’s also a lot of money. Now, you just pack a tent, camp out there – cool, fresh air, natural, oxygen, a lot, around you when you camp under the trees, camp on the grass; feel good, light and economic also. We live together, we’re happy; we don’t need to stay in a big hotel to be happy. In fact, we’re happier than when we stay in a big hotel because we have common ideas, interests. We love each other and we just feel so good, and the natural air and the food, healthy, make us feel so good, you see?The money, you didn’t earn more. You don’t have to earn more money – just know how to live your life because you only have one life, this life. Whether I say the truth or not, you have Heaven or not, or you have reincarnation or not, this life is all you know, and if you don’t manage well, you cannot live freely and you cannot feel happy about it. You have to do what you really want and what is good for you. Of course, you would tell me that you can do anything you want – it’s not true. What’s good for you is what you should do. Vegetarian (vegan) is healthy, right? Meditation calms your nerves, makes you more bright and clever and loving – that’s good for you. It’s not that you do anything you want. Of course, we can do anything we want, but what’s good for us, that’s what the clever people would do. Saving money is better than earning money. Anything you save is like you earn, except that you don’t have to go out and work for it and pay tax on it even. Anything you earn is yours, and then you can do everything you want: you can give yourself something you like or give to the needy people. That’s what we do. We do it all the time. I do, also. What I told you, I do. I don’t always do it, so that it is written in the magazines. Most of the things I do are not written in the magazines. It is written because some people happened to be there and knew it and wrote a report about it, or it is official, like a concert, and everybody has to know. That’s how it is. Otherwise, I do it every day, every time, every chance.Sometimes one of the attendants laughed at me. He said, “Master, how come McDonald’s meal is so expensive? It’s the most expensive restaurant I have ever seen.” You know why? Because when we went in there, we saw some homeless people – they were looking through garbage – and I gave like $500 and that’s what he said, “My God! Just eating some French fries and two colas, that’s it! – $500!” So he made jokes about it all the time. He said, “OK! Next time, when you say you want to take me out, I know which is the most expensive restaurant!” So I took him to McDonald’s and we always share whatever. Most of the time, we see homeless people, they hang around there or they look in the garbage – I cannot bear it, so I give them some, I give what I have.So he made jokes. He said, “What? We eat only two French fries and two medium colas, and then we even have to serve ourselves - and even stand in line - and so expensive!” You know, because in first class restaurant you sit there, you have napkins and everything, and the waiter comes, and serves you like a king. Then you pay just maybe two, three, five hundred dollars, depends. But for two persons only, two, three hundred dollars is already expensive. He said he couldn’t imagine McDonald’s is more expensive. He just makes jokes. So these things we do, because we love other people, because they are us anyway. So there’s nothing to talk about. But sometimes, of course, we write it in the magazine because also other disciples need to learn from the example. Also, most of the things that I do are open, so people can know. Just so we know the things that we do, just like you tell me what you do and so the news reports what I do to you, so that we get in touch, we know each other’s way of life and things like that. Like, knowing each other, not to boast, for everybody else to know. If to boast for everybody else to know, we should put it in Reuters or like big news company, not just write it in our small magazine. But this is a way of life that we do all the time. It should be the way of life and everyone should do that, and I am very proud of you, that you do that all the time. I know that. I know you do that individually, and still you have enough money to spare to come here or to go to retreat or come see me whenever possible. Your life becomes richer or not? (Yes!) Yes!

The Foundation of Creation: From the Book of the Secrets of Enoch (vegetarian), Part 2 of 2

The Foundation of Creation: From the Book of the Secrets of Enoch (vegetarian), Part 2 of 2

We now continue with the amazing record from chapters 26 to 30 in “The Book of the Secrets of Enoch,” depicting the story of creation as told by God to Enoch, in which the world’s foundation takes its dual nature, known to us to this day. Chapter 26 “And I summoned the very lowest a second time, and said: ‘Let Archas come forth hard,’ and he came forth hard from the invisible (spiritual). And Archas came forth, hard, heavy, and very red.” Chapter 27 “And I commanded that there should be taken from light and darkness, and I said: ‘Be thick,’ and it became thus, and I spread it out with the light, and it became water, and I spread it out over the darkness, below the light, and then I made firm the waters, that is to say the bottomless, and I made foundation of light around the water, and created seven circles from inside, and imaged (the water) like crystal wet and dry, that is to say like glass, (and) the waters and the other elements - and I showed each one of them its road, and the seven stars, each one of them in its heaven, that they go thus, and I saw that it was good.” Chapter 28 “And then I made firm the Heavenly circle, and (made) that the lower water, which is under Heaven collect itself together, into one whole, and that the chaos become dry, and it became so. ” “Out of the waves I created rock hard and big, and from the rock I piled up the dry, and the dry I called earth, and the midst of the earth I called abyss, that is to say the bottomless, I collected the sea in one place and bound it together with a yoke.” “And I said to the sea: ‘Behold, I give you (your) eternal limits, and you shalt not break loose from your component parts.’ Thus I made fast the firmament. This day I called me the first-created [Sunday].”

Practice What You Believe: Faith Panel on the Relationship between Religion and Veganism, Part 1 of 4

On October 27, 2019, a discussion titled “Faith Panel on the Relationship between Religion and Veganism” which took place in London, England, explored the interrelations between spiritual beliefs and cruelty-free, plant-based living. It was organized as part of London’s VegFestUK, one of the biggest annual vegan festivals in Great Britain, dedicated to celebrating, expanding and relishing with gusto the life-affirming vegan trend. Each of the individuals in this respectable group of advocates reached the conclusion that being vegan is an essential aspect of following their respective holy scriptures. Moreover, it is the only way to truly live in harmony with the spiritual values of virtue and compassion. These panel members discuss how they came to realize that our concern for the welfare of animals lies at the very heart of any religious belief and thus should ideally be a top priority for any person of faith. “I’d say that veganism and Judaism more than correlate. I’d say that they go hand-in-hand. And that’s what as an organization, the ‘Jewish Vegetarian Society,’ soon to be renamed with ‘vegan’ in the title, is trying to achieve.” “And I’ve got one quote from the Prophet Muhammad, Peace be upon Him. It says, ‘A good deed done to an animal is like a good deed done to a human being, while an act of cruelty to an animal is as bad as cruelty to a human being.’ And I think that’s self-explanatory.”“The Bhagavad Gita is a sacred scripture and the basis of Hinduism. The fundamental principle of the Bhagavad Gita is that there is Divine Energy everywhere. For instance, in Chapter 10, Verse 20, which says, ‘O Arjuna, I’m seated in the heart of all living entities. I am the beginning, middle and end of all of these beings.’” “So, on these bases it’s obvious that Hinduism discourages consumption of animals, animal flesh and meat.”“I think it’s quite simplistic to jump to a verse in Genesis, in the Old Testament, where it says that God gives humans every seed and seed-bearing plant for food, as a kind of endorsement that we should be vegan, and that that was what God’s big plan for us was.”

Christ Consciousness: Excerpts from the Edgar Cayce Readings, Part 1 of 2

Internationally known clairvoyant Edgar Cayce was called “The Sleeping Prophet”due to the seemingly “deep sleep” he entered before he started a prophecy. Born in Kentucky, USA in 1877, Edgar’s psychic abilities first appeared as a child. Today we’ll explore some of Edgar Cayce’s insightful readings about the Worshipped Lord Jesus and the Christ Consciousness which awaits to be awakened in everyone by the sacred, all-creating Word of God. “Ye are made strong, – in body, in mind, in soul and purpose, – by that power in Christ. The POWER, then, is in the Christ. The PATTERN is in Jesus.” “In the Christ Consciousness, then, there is the oneness of self, self’s desires, self’s abilities, made in at-onement with the forces that may bring to pass that which is sought by an individual entity or soul....” “Not that this is not attainable, but one grows to that consciousness in the application of the faith in and the consciousness of being at-one with the Divine that is within....”

Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) Meets the Former Vice President of Taiwan (Formosa), Her Excellency Lu Hsiu-Lien (vegetarian), and Distinguished Guests, Part 3 of 3

34:18

Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) Meets the Former Vice President of Taiwan (Formosa), Her Excellency Lu Hsiu-Lien (vegetarian), and Distinguished Guests, Part 3 of 3

(Master, I have a silly question.) (Buddhism originated from India. But not many Indian people believe in Buddhism. There are so many religions in India. Why can’t they be unified?) That’s why we are showing all religions on our TV for everyone to have an understanding of them. (There are so many religions in the world. The primary teaching of all religions is always love and peace.) And they are not in peace. (Why are there so many religions?) Yes. (And they have conflicts with each other.) India is truly a religiously developed country. (Yes.) Many Masters come and go. Even Shakyamuni Buddha was also there. Jesus Christ also studied for some time in India. (Yes.) Anyways, India is there to safeguard the ambience of religions. Therefore, many enlightened Masters came. For instance, after the Sikh Master left, there was Sikhism. There was no Sikhism in the first place. (Yes.) When Krishna was there, then people became Krishna’s followers and believers. It has always been like this. That’s why there are so many religions. Why are there so many? Because many Masters come and go. Probably after I leave, there’ll be a Chinghai-ism! (Master, may I ask You one thing? Why do I shed tears every time I hear the chanting of Quan Yin Bodhisattva’s name? What’s the reason for that?) Shedding tears means you’re touched. (Shedding tears means that I was touched?) Sometimes, if our hearts are simple and pure, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, Saints, and enlightened Masters bless the world all the time. They bless everybody. They have no discrimination and will not say, “You’re bad. I don’t bless you. I’ll bless you if you’re good.” No. It’s just that if we’re good, our hearts will be simpler. Then it’s easier to receive Their blessing power. Similarly, if your heart is pure, you can accept the blessing power of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and that’s why your soul sheds tears. It’s not your mind. Your mind cannot understand. It’s your soul. (Oh!) Your soul was touched. Your soul was cleansed and became a little bit cleaner. That’s why you shed tears, because your soul was touched. And the most important thing is that we have to make decisions with our own wisdom. (Yes.) Not by worshipping some places, or to rely on some Masters telling us what to do. We have to develop ourselves. That is the safest and most secure way.

Studies in the Scriptures by Charles Taze Russell: The Divine Plan of the Ages - Selection from Chapter 5, Part 1 of 2

Studies in the Scriptures by Charles Taze Russell: The Divine Plan of the Ages - Selection from Chapter 5, Part 1 of 2

He is noted for his analytical interpretations of the Holy Bible and for dedicating his life and resources to the preaching of the future establishment of a Golden Age on Earth. According to Mr. Russell’s research of the Holy Bible, God’s Kingdom would rule the Earth through Christ. Among the most well-known of his works is the seven-volume series, “Studies in the Scriptures.” Today, we will read an excerpt from Volume 1 of Charles Taze Russell’s “Studies in the Scriptures” titled, “The Divine Plan of the Ages.”“Paul declares that this mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations now made manifest to His saints, is ‘CHRIST IN YOU, THE HOPE OF GLORY.’ This is the great mystery of God which has been hidden from all previous ages, and is still hidden from all except a special class - the saints, or consecrated believers. But what is meant by ‘Christ in you?’ We have learned that Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit, and thus we recognize Him to be the Christ - the Anointed - for the word Christ signifies anointed.”“And, dearly beloved, many blows and much polishing must we endure - much transforming must we undergo, and much conforming to His example, under the direction of the great Master-builder; and in order to have the ability and ideality of the Builder displayed in us, we will need to see that we have no cross-grained will of our own to oppose or thwart the accomplishment of His will in us; we must be very childlike and humble – ‘clothed with humility; for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.’ Let us humble ourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt us in due time, as He has exalted our Head and Forerunner.”

The Golden Thread of Wisdom That Lights the World, Part 1 of 4 - The Origin of the Creation

14:26

The Golden Thread of Wisdom That Lights the World, Part 1 of 4 - The Origin of the Creation

Since time immemorial, our planet has been graced with Light-bringers, enlightened Beings who embody spiritual wisdom and offer it for the benefit of humanity. On this special occasion celebrating the Three-Year Anniversary of Supreme Master Television, we are honored to present “The Golden Thread of Wisdom That Lights the World.” This four-part series represents a compilation of some of the most powerful and illuminating excerpts from Words of Wisdom which, as you will see, all lead to the same ultimate Divinity. Welcome to Part One: The Origin of the Creation. One of the questions that we are sure to encounter in life is: where does the world come from, and where do we come from? The Holy Bible says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God … Through Hirm all things were made, and without Hirm nothing was made that has been made.” Taoism Tao Te Ching Chapter 1: “The name that can be named is not the enduring and unchanging name. (Conceived of as) having no name, it is the Originator of heaven and earth; (conceived of as) having a name, it is the Mother of all things.” Bahá'í Faith The Kitab-I-Aqdas: “He, verily, is the Munificent, the Generous. He has previously made known unto you that which would be uttered by this Dayspring of Divine wisdom. He said, and He speaks the truth: He is the One Who will under all conditions proclaim: ‘Verily, there is none other God besides Me, the One, the Incomparable, the Omniscient, the All-Informed.’” In a lecture given at Denver University, Colorado, USA on April 10, 1993, Supreme Master Ching Hai revealed more about how we can awaken this extraordinary Source of Heavenly benevolence and compassion. “All Masters, all true Masters, are one. They come from one Source. The highest Master is the Supreme Master, the Almighty, which is in all of you. When we first came here, we were Masters before. We came here, we blessed the world, and we forgot all about our power and our glory. Our energies were also exhausted because we paid attention to outer phenomena. All the Masters who come here are the ones who are awakened in this awareness, and know Their true glory. They can travel the road Home frequently and They can lead us back Home. So there’s no need to discriminate between any Masters. All the religions are founded after the Master has gone; therefore, we have Christianity after Christ, Buddhism after Buddha, etc.”

“I Have Come” and Other Selections from “Así Hablaba Quetzalcóatl (Thus Spoke Quetzalcóatl),” Part 1 of 2

7:52

“I Have Come” and Other Selections from “Así Hablaba Quetzalcóatl (Thus Spoke Quetzalcóatl),” Part 1 of 2

“Así Hablaba Quetzalcóatl (Thus Spoke Quetzalcóatl)” is a beautiful tale that offers upliftment to all Truth seekers yearning for spiritual understanding. In this book, we follow the travels of the legendary Aztec god Quetzalcóatl, who is the story’s enlightened Master. I Have Come “‘People of Tollan: I have not come to tell you words that become erased and vanish with time like dry leaves in winter. I have come to give you life with my breath, and to enliven you at this time, in which sister nature herself will soon refuse to yield fruit. I have not come to give you norms, nor to ask you to believe in the outside, to ask you to flood with joy temples and squares. I have come to tell you that your temple is in your heart, and that prayer is your work, as well as sincere surrender towards the needs of those who are weaker and who need you. I have not come to promise you great things, nor to fill up your hearts with illusions and your head with fantasies. I have come to tell you that the door of time has opened and said: Let us give entrance to the period in which man takes consciousness of Mankind, and forgets about himself to be in each one of his brothers. Blessed were and are those who open this path and tread upon it with the bareness of humility. They sow the new seed that prepares the School of the World to receive the New Man. I have not come to heal bodies deformed by time and twisted by the pain of existence. I have come to clean the white wings of the soul, and to teach them how to fly. I have come to comfort and give strength, so that the burdens of suffering become light. Peace and Love to all beings.’” Don’t Sleep in Selfishness “In those times, the fields of Tula resembled Paradise, and many were the pilgrims who came to seek Peace in it. Some were seeking for the comfort of their hearts, and for the fluttering of their spirits, because the wind spread through the fields the voice of the Messenger from the Heavens. And others arrived and knelt before Him, waiting for his word as if it were the Morning Star itself. But He got them on their feet, saying: ‘Children of the Moon, don’t get confused. Do not take this body of mine for an altar, because it is not even worthy of raising the smoke of a bonfire. Rather, wake up the altars that sleep in your hearts, and clean them, and prepare them to offer sacrifices. And when all your sacrifices are brought together one by one, true it is that even God the Father Himself will come down, feeling praised. Do not sleep in selfishness, because it is your worst enemy. Overthrow it, and you will transcend as do the birds in the sky. They do not worry about food or drink nor about treasures for tomorrow. There are many who keep their riches as if they could buy death with it. And many are those who waste them as if they could lengthen life with that. I truly tell you that they are nothing but ignorant people who don’t know the Truth.’ And so one of those who were listening asked, ‘What is the Truth in relation to that?’ ‘I truly tell you: He who knows that all he possesses is not his, but rather the possession of Heaven, knows the Truth. Yet he who gives everything he has to those who need it, fulfills it.’”

Jewish Scholar Asa Keisar’s True Vegan World Revolution, Part 1 of 3

14:13

Jewish Scholar Asa Keisar’s True Vegan World Revolution, Part 1 of 3

The respected Asa Keisar is an Israeli religious scholar who’s on a mission of spreading veganism all across Israel and the world. His speeches feature statements from the Holy Torah about the incorrectness of consuming animal products, especially in our modern world. Another example of his duly gained recognition is a sincere letter he received from the President of Israel, His Excellency Reuven “Ruvi” Rivlin, who called Asa Keisar’s work “nothing less than a true revolution.” Through this interview, we’ll learn more about Asa Keisar’s noble efforts as he clarifies how the most essential holy Jewish texts have always been pointing to the right way of treating our animal co-inhabitants, namely with compassion and respect. “I make the connection between the Judaism and veganism. I wrote a book about this subject. The name of the book in Hebrew is ‘Velifnei Iver Hashalem,’ ‘In Front of the Blind.’ ‘The blind,’ the meaning is the people, something like the blind – we don’t know what’s happening to the animals, about what the Torah says, about the tza’ar ba’alei chayim (suffering of living creatures) and all of these subjects. This is a passage from the Bible.”

The Golden Thread of Wisdom That Lights the World, Part 3 of 4 - The Law of Karmic Retribution

15:32

The Golden Thread of Wisdom That Lights the World, Part 3 of 4 - The Law of Karmic Retribution

Welcome to Part Three – The Law of Karmic Retribution. Different religions may refer differently to karmic retribution, or cause and effect, but it is understood as a concept by all. We have heard of the sayings, “What goes around, comes around,” and “Like attracts like.” Positive actions bring favorable effects, while negative yields unfavorable results, also known as karmic retribution. While the principles of Divine Love and Grace are higher, and may be mercifully applied in the physical realms, karmic retribution is a law that cannot be ignored. The Holy Bible clearly teaches the concept of karma in the often-quoted verse, “As you sow, so shall you reap.” The verse continues, “The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” Even in ancient China thousands of years ago, people understood the wisdom of the enlightened Master Confucius, “Do not impose on others what you yourself do not desire.” Buddhism Surangama Sutra: “Ananda, if living beings in the six worlds of existence cease to kill, they will not be subject to the continual round of births and deaths… How then can those who practice great compassion feed on the flesh and blood of living beings?” Sikhism Sri Guru Granth Sahib: “The world eats dead carcasses, living by neglect and greed. Like a goblin, or a beast, they kill and eat the forbidden carcasses of meat. So control your urges, or else you will be seized by the Lord, and thrown into the tortures of hell.” Jainism Bhagavati Aradhana: “To kill any living being amounts to killing oneself. Compassion to others is compassion to one’s own self. Therefore one should avoid violence like poison and thorns (that cause pain).” Cao Đài-ism The Collection of Divine Messages: “If you kill any living being, you shall be punished; no one knows whether a living being may have been an Immortal or a Buddha reincarnating to Earth. As I have said, all life is Me. To destroy life is to attempt to destroy Me. And it is not easy to destroy Me. Teach that to human beings.” In an effort to halt the factory farms and meat-processing plants that kill billions of animals every year, Supreme Master Ching Hai has been speaking out in urgent messages for some time. She asks that all meat-related businesses cease their operations and switch to a more wholesome living. On February 22, 2020, Supreme Master Ching Hai specifically addressed livestock industry owners as well as the fishing, egg, milk, fur, laboratory testing, cosmetics and leather industries.

Selections from “Aphorisms II” – A Book by Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan), Part 2 of 2

9:04

Selections from “Aphorisms II” – A Book by Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan), Part 2 of 2

“Get more enlightened and then you’ll be more loving. That’s the purpose of enlightenment. Enlightenment makes us more loving, more tolerant and more understanding. That’s the best outcome of spiritual cultivation.” “It’s not meditation that protects you. It’s the awakening of your own power within that protects you. It’s knowing that you’re God that protects you.” “The more people know God, the more people contact God directly and become happier, the more peaceful the world will be, the less war there will be, and the more we can bring Heaven onto Earth.” “Actually, everything takes care of itself in time. But meanwhile, we should try our best to make life better and always avoid violence. That’s the lesson of all the Shakyamuni Buddha stories – we have to surrender to God’s will and be tolerant and patient. When the time comes, everything will change.”

“The Spiritual and Karmic Aspects of the Vegetarian Diet” by Sant Kirpal Singh and Baba Sawan Singh (vegetarians), Part 2 of 2

16:58

“The Spiritual and Karmic Aspects of the Vegetarian Diet” by Sant Kirpal Singh and Baba Sawan Singh (vegetarians), Part 2 of 2

We will now continue with the reading from Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj and His beloved Master Baba Sawan Singh Ji’s book entitled, “The Spiritual and Karmic Aspects of the Vegetarian Diet.” “We have all been created by God. All of us are embodied souls. Soul is of the same essence as that of God, and God is in all of us; and we should, therefore, love one another. That is what Saint Paul taught all his life.” “If one is keen for God-realization, then one must not hurt anyone’s feelings, for heart is the seat of God. Have you ever realized that a mango seed, when embedded, gathers all the sweetness from the soil, while a pepper seed attracts all the bitterness in it? As a man thinketh, so he becomes. Nothing is good or bad in the world, but our thinking makes it so. We, like the one or the other of the seeds, draw upon impulses from the atmosphere, as suits our own mental make-up.”“A Godly person is possessed with a right mind and a right heart. He has both within and without a perfect spring of peace. His dealings are fair, open, and unquestionable. Truth springs from the very bottom of his heart. The audience is spellbound and gets a feeling of comfort by hearing him, as his utterances are drenched from the cooling effect of the loving and chaste thoughts within him, and everyone feels satisfied.”“All other Saints have said this thing in the same strain: 1. Love thy neighbor as thyself. 2. Do unto others as you would wish them to do unto you.” “The whole of the religious philosophy hangs by these two cardinal principles. If one puts before him these two golden rules, his life will surely be transformed. The person who has no element of sympathy in his heart and a human touch, is not fit to be called even a man, and he cannot know God. He who treats his enemies lovingly will disarm them in no time. Insofar as you can, try to do no injury to anyone. Be good to all and you will be at peace with yourself and be a radiating center of loving grace around you. The prayers of others, to whom you may have done good, will help you. The good thoughts of others will swarm around you with a benediction. The very idea of doing good will first affect you and will draw all good vibrations from the surrounding atmosphere.”
