Proper Emotion Management Makes Us Healthier

Proper Emotion Management Makes Us Healthier

Emotions not only influence our quality of life but also affect our physical and mental health. Positive feelings like happiness and satisfaction can stimulate our creativity, and enhance our empathy, thus encouraging us to assist others. When encountering setbacks or pressure, we may have negative feelings, such as anxiety and frustration, which impact our bodies, by causing our blood pressure to rise as well as heartburn and other ailments to be experienced. The emergence of negative feelings can mean that some of our needs or sentiments are ignored. Expressing our repressed feelings allows us a chance to reflect on ourselves and remind us to examine things with a more positive attitude. We can seek support and advice to dissolve the dissatisfactions in our hearts. If we are feeling down, we can think of things that make us happy, the people that we’d like to thank, or do something we like, such as listening to music, exercising, meditating, or practicing yoga. Even just breathing a few times deeply can make us feel relaxed and pacified emotionally. “Don’t stop your anger or hurtful feeling. Just go through it and quickly, with no resentment and heal it after. Anger, hurt, pain is the natural feeling of physical elements. It’s just you don’t know how to handle anger, that is the problem. Okay? If somebody hurts you, of course you feel hurt. You are not a wooden table. And when people provoke you unreasonably, or you think that they provoke you, you are bound to be angry, and that is all right. But we must understand, the nature of anger is not very constructive most of the time. So if we have to be angry, get it over with. Don’t try to suppress too much your anger. You’ll be sick. You’ll be crazy. It’s a natural feeling. Don’t carry it too long; you’ll drown yourself in anger. It’s no good for yourself and for the party involved. Get angry, talk. You don’t have to be sarcastic or hurtful when you talk. Just air your view and tell them that they made you angry because, because, because... And you wish that in the future it doesn’t happen again because you are not... going to tolerate it again. Air your view, finish, and love each other again. That’s what I think. But we just know, the anger, the quality and the real face of anger, and we’re in control of it, and don’t let the anger be our master. Anger suppressed can make you ill physically. So don’t hurt yourself more by swallowing the poisonous anger within you. Spit it out in a proper way.”

Thomas Tadlock: Reversing Disease and Changing Lives Through Vegan Fitness, Part 2 of 2 (INT)

We asked Thomas to explain why people experience plateaus and tell us what he does as a trainer to help his clients move forward again. “And it just boils down to two things, that’s it. It’s either their workout strategy is not working for them anymore, or their nutrition strategy is not working for them – or both. Once you go into plant-based training, you start eating the right way. That doesn’t really have to change much from a training standpoint.” “The most powerful driving force for a lot of people that I run into, to make the switch to go vegan, is seeing that it works better and faster. Once they try it, and they do it, and they get results faster than they ever have doing it any other way, they are like, ‘I am in. I can do this for life.’”

What Compassion Can Do for Our Health

17:14

What Compassion Can Do for Our Health

When you hear the word "compassion," what do you associate it with? In multiple studies over the past 25 years, researchers have determined that this characteristic is an inborn tendency of all humans. In the fifth book of the New Testament, it is recorded that Lord Jesus Christ said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." (Acts 20:35) If performing acts of compassion make us happy, how does happiness translate into better health? In other words, when we are focused more on others than on ourselves, our life is rich in compassion and our wellness is enhanced. When the people around us are joyful and at ease, we become more cheerful ourselves.

The Protective Power of Masks, Part 2 of 2

The Protective Power of Masks, Part 2 of 2

In general, masks can be divided into two categories: reusable and disposable. Disposable masks include surgical masks as well as N95 and KN95 respirators. Please note that due to high demand and shortages, surgical and N95 masks should be reserved for healthcare workers and not be used by the general public. The cloth mask is one of the most common reusable masks. The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a US government agency, has advised the public to use non-valved, multi-layer cloth masks to help prevent the transmission of COVID-19. The agency states: “Cloth masks not only effectively block most large droplets (i.e., 20-30 microns and larger) but they can also block the exhalation of fine droplets and particles (also often referred to as aerosols) smaller than 10 microns which increase in number with the volume of speech and specific types of phonation. Multi-layer cloth masks can both block up to 50-70% of these fine droplets and particles and limit the forward spread of those that are not captured.” During the pandemic, the best ways to protect yourself, your loved ones, and others are to wear a mask correctly, use other kinds of PPE for additional safety and practice social distancing. Now, let’s look at some tips on correctly putting on and handling masks. Finally, a reminder that Supreme Master Ching Hai has lovingly shown how we can make a cloth mask at home and other ways to safeguard ourselves during this challenging time. All of Supreme Master Ching Hai’s tips for protection during the COVID-19 (and any other) pandemic are free for viewing and download at MastersTipsOnCOVID-19.com

Dietary Fiber: Why Is It Important?

Dietary Fiber: Why Is It Important?

When thinking about nutrition, dietary fiber probably doesn’t top our list of nutrients of concern. The ideal amount is 38 grams for men and 25 grams for women in a 2,000 calorie diet. A study published in the medical journal The Lancet, revealed that people who ate the highest amounts of fiber reduced the incidence of coronary heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes and colorectal cancer by 16-24% compared to people who ate the least. Soluble fiber dissolves in water to form a gel-like material and mostly can be metabolized by the good bacteria in the gut. Fruits, vegetables, barley, flaxseed, legumes and soy products are good sources of it. Insoluble fiber doesn’t dissolve in water and primarily provides bulk to stool and assists its movement through the digestive tract. This fiber comes from the hard structural parts of plants, such as the skins of fruits and vegetables. When combined, these benefits can make bowel movements easier, thus reducing the chance of constipation and hemorrhoids. Furthermore, soluble fiber can slow the absorption of foods during the digestive process, which can reduce blood sugar and insulin spikes after meals. Fiber supports heart health by lowering the low-density lipoprotein (LDL), known as “bad cholesterol.” Studies show that for every 100-gram increase in the consumption of fruits and vegetables, the risk of depression decreases by 3%. 1. Consume at least five servings of fruits and vegetables each day and eat them with skins if possible because they are rich in fiber. 2. Add fiber-rich foods to your diet. You may also stir one tablespoon (15 grams) of chia seeds or 7 grams of flaxseed into oatmeal or a smoothie as they will give you an extra 3-5 grams of fiber. 3. Eat high-fiber foods. Beans, peas and lentils are excellent sources of fiber. Only half a cup (192 grams) can provide around 7 grams of fiber. 4. Switch from refined to whole grains by choosing brown rice or whole-grain bread. For people who have a wheat allergy, gluten intolerance, or celiac diseases, consider eating high-fiber, gluten-free foods like millet, quinoa, buckwheat or gluten-free oats to help avoid a fiber deficiency.

How to Control Asthma Attacks

How to Control Asthma Attacks

Asthma is a major chronic inflammatory disease of the airways to the lungs and the most common chronic condition in children. According to the World Health Organization, in 2019, approximately 292 million people worldwide were affected by asthma. Typical asthma symptoms include wheezing, coughing, shortness of breath and chest tightness. The root cause of developing asthma is a combination of complex genetic and environmental interactions that are not fully understood. Although asthma is often a lifelong condition, effective medical management can assist people in controlling asthma attacks. Avoiding allergens is a very effective approach to reducing asthma attacks other than the use of medications. The first thing to avoid is tobacco smoke exposure. Strong emotions like anger, crying and excitement can trigger asthma too. Breathing techniques, relaxation exercises and meditation can help you deal with strong emotions. Being vegan could be beneficial for asthma prevention and treatment according to a paper on asthma and diet published in Nutrition Reviews. Researchers from the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine conducted a meta-study drawing from 150 studies related to asthma and nutrition, and the results suggest that a vegan diet can help decrease the risk of developing asthma and manage symptoms.A plant-based diet is rich in antioxidants and flavonoids, which reduce systemic inflammation that can worsen asthma. In a 2004 study, children that had eliminated dairy and egg intake for 8 weeks experienced a 22% improvement of their peak expiratory flow rate - a measure of how fast a person can exhale. Rob Dube, an American entrepreneur and athlete, was diagnosed with severe asthma and eczema at the age of eight. In 2011, after watching the documentary Forks over Knives that examines how a plant-based diet can help one avoid and reverse serious chronic diseases, he decided to try a vegan diet. Soon, he noticed his asthma and eczema symptoms had lessened, and eventually he stopped using the medications that he had relied on for 33 years.

Dr. Stephen Gorad (Vegan) on Quinoa - Supergrain of the Future, Part 2 of 3

He was so impressed with this crop that the felt a calling to make quinoa a food that can be enjoyed by people everywhere and has spent over four decades on this mission. “Because as the climate changes, agricultural practices are going to change also. And quinoa has several advantages. Quinoa is drought-resistant. It’s frost-resistant, and it’s salt-tolerant. I think quinoa is a miracle. It’s a miracle food in that it’s the mother grain.” Quinoa is called a superfood for its many beneficial nutritional properties. This supergrain is high in iron, an essential mineral that makes up hemoglobin that is found in oxygen-carrying red blood cells. Quinoa is also rich in riboflavin or vitamin B2 that aids with metabolism in brain and muscle cells. “You put quinoa in a glass of water. Four hours and it starts growing. So it’s like the quinoa grain is bursting with energy to grow. That’s the energy that we’re taking into our bodies when we’re eating quinoa.”

Gemma Newman, MD: Plant Power Doctor, Part 2 of 2

Gemma Newman, MD: Plant Power Doctor, Part 2 of 2

If you look at the top 15 causes of death, a plant-based diet can help to either improve, arrest or even - in some case - reverse 14 of the top 15 causes of death. Now, the only cause of death that it doesn't have any influence over is an accidental death, like a car crash. So the plant-based diet is really great for health, but not a lot of medical institutions promote it. My hope is that in the years to come, with the increased knowledge that we have, that more and more medical professionals will start to include the plant-based diet within their recommendations.

Staying Healthy While Working in Hot Weather

Staying Healthy While Working in Hot Weather

Exposure to higher temperatures with frequent periods of heat may result in greater heat stress, leading to several types of heat-related illnesses such as heatstroke and heat exhaustion, as well as increased susceptibility to chemical exposure and fatigue. Among all, heatstroke is the most serious heat-induced illness and can be fatal. It occurs when the body loses its ability to control its internal temperature. Individuals in this condition require emergency treatment right away. Call your local emergency services number, and in the meantime, move the person to a shady area or indoors immediately. Heat exhaustion is the next most risky heat-related illness in line; it usually occurs after heavy sweating, where the body loses a great deal of water and salt. Other heat-induced illnesses include heat syncope (fainting), heat cramps, and heat rash. These are also caused by rising temperatures. To provide a safer working environment, employers should take precautions by, first of all, providing high-quality training for workers to recognize the symptoms of heat stress. They should reserve shady or airy areas for workers to rest, allow frequent opportunities for re-hydration and a reasonable number of short breaks.Global warming starts when the energy (or heat) from the sun is trapped in the atmosphere and not radiated out into space proportionally. There are four main types of greenhouse gases that are trapping the heat: carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and fluorinated gases. Human-generated methane, produced largely by animal factory systems, is another one of the most dangerous greenhouse gases. Per unit of mass, methane is 83-84 times more heat-trapping than CO2 over a duration of 20 years and has a global warming potential 28-34 times than that of carbon dioxide over a 100-year period.Nitrous oxide, generated from producing and using fertilizers, is up to 300-times more potent as a greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide. According to a report by the United Nations, the meat and dairy industries account for over 65% of nitrous oxide emissions globally, mainly due to the production of animal feed.Start today, start now, be vegan, and let’s join hands to cool down the planet for us and for future generations to come.

Being Vegan Can Improve Our Cholesterol Profile

Being Vegan Can Improve Our Cholesterol Profile

University of Toronto researchers in Canada have found that people eating a plant-based diet lowered their LDL cholesterol by nearly 30% in just four weeks, a result comparable to taking cholesterol-lowering medications. In addition to reducing LDL cholesterol, the researchers found that the diet led to an estimated 13% reduction in the overall risk for cardiovascular diseases, which include angina and heart disease. A study published in the “Journal of the American Heart Association” in August 2019, further supports the health benefits of a vegan diet. Dr. Rebholz and her colleagues examined data from 12,168 middle-aged people who had enrolled in the Atherosclerosis Risk in Communities (ARIC) study. The results showed that the reduction in deaths from heart attacks, and other severe cardiovascular events, is correlated with people consuming more vegetables, legumes, nuts, and whole grains.

What You Eat Matters: Dr. Caroline Trapp (vegan) on Diabetes, Part 1 of 2

In this two-part program, we are privileged to hear from Dr. Caroline Trapp about the tie between diet and a chronic health condition that sadly affects about 425 million people worldwide. She is a vegan American nurse practitioner with a doctorate in nursing practice and more than 30 years of experience in taking care of people with diabetes. “A plant-based diet is a great way to prevent getting diabetes in the first place, and if you’ve been diagnosed with the disease, a plant-based diet has been shown to turn the disease around. The research is in. A whole food plant-based diet is really beneficial for diabetes and also for heart disease and for stroke prevention and all these other concerns for people who have the disease. A whole food plant-based diet is mostly carbohydrates, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and beans are all carbs. So, I highly recommend healthy carbs.”

Dr. Stephen Gorad (Vegan) on Quinoa - Supergrain of the Future, Part 1 of 3

Dr. Gorad, a vegan, attended school in the USA, starting with the Bronx High School of Science and then studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He ultimately earned a Ph.D. from Boston University and became a clinical psychologist. He did not feel fulfilled by this career path and thus decided to pursue spiritual practice. As part of his spiritual journey, he traveled to the South American Andes and found out about quinoa. “So, the bottom line is that quinoa is a food, and not only is it a food, but it’s the type of food that could be a staple food. The main thing was that quinoa has more protein than an+H5y of the other grains. So quinoa has all of the essential amino acids. So, in that respect, they call it+G5 a complete protein. But more than that is the ratio of the quantities of each of those essential amino acids. Quinoa has that perfect balance. It’s a perfect food for everybody. Quinoa has no gluten. Quinoa has antioxidant effects on the body. It has anti-inflammatory effects in the body. And some research indicated that it’s actually protective against cancer.

Birding: Connecting Us with Nature, Part 2 of 2

12:35

Birding: Connecting Us with Nature, Part 2 of 2

To have a successful birding trip, it’s best to plan well. The first step is to pick the birds you’d like to see and find out where their habitats are. The best birding seasons are spring through fall, a period when most birds breed. The last thing to plan before your exploration begins is logistics. Using public transportation is a brilliant idea, as you can save fuel and parking costs and it reduces your carbon footprint. While we are enjoying this wonderful feeling of being connected with nature, it’s our responsibility to protect the welfare of our feathered friends and their habitats. Here are some of the birding ethics we should practice: 1. Reduce disturbances: It is safer to keep all disturbances to a minimum, as some bird species, especially the rare and endangered ones, have a low tolerance for loud sounds. 2. Respect their space: Don’t invade a bird’s territory when he or she shows signs of agitation, such as making alarm calls or fleeing. 3. Please don’t litter: Our trash hurts the birds in many ways, directly and indirectly - causing injuries, impeding their digestive system, poisoning them, and making spaces uninhabitable. If you only remember one thing: Above all else, please always make the birds’ welfare your top priority. Similarly, when you are birding with others, it is important to follow birding etiquette so everyone can enjoy a rewarding connection with nature. Here are some guidelines: 1. Keeps others’ view clear: When you are looking for a suitable position to see a shy bird, please make sure you don’t move in front of someone else and block their line of sight. 2. No trespassing: When trying to locate birds, please mind the boundaries between public and private lands. 3. Be polite: Respect the interest, rights, and skill levels of your fellow birders. To sum up, birding is a great hobby for everyone. By connecting with nature and our cheerful feathered friends, you’ll receive many physical and psychological benefits, and the learning and surprise elements can add a lot of fun and thrills to your life.

Dr. Debra Shapiro (vegan): Champion of Women’s Health, Part 1 of 3

Dr. Shapiro is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist and has been practicing medicine for nearly 25 years. Apart from helping patients as a specialized surgeon, Dr. Shapiro became a Vegan Lifestyle Coach and Educator so that she could teach people the skills to help themselves through adopting a healthy vegan lifestyle. As a professional health coach, Dr. Shapiro is in a unique position to clarify issues related to diet and the well-being of the body, especially with regards to women’s health and breast cancer. “Soy, whole soy foods, we're talking about tempeh, tofu, this is organic, edamame, soy milk. Whole soy foods are extremely helpful and will reduce your risk of breast cancer.” According to the American Cancer Society, in the United States alone, it is estimated that 281,000 invasive breast cancer cases will be diagnosed in 2021, and 43,600 women will die from this disease. “So, we're talking about a diet that's centered around whole plant foods. They will not increase your risk of breast cancer. They will also decrease the risk of prostate cancer in men. Now initially, when studies were being done on soy and especially on the soy phytoestrogen, they found that soy has something in it called isoflavones.” “So, eating more soy, especially early in life… if you can start your baby off on breast milk and then move to soy milk, you can see almost a 50% or almost 60% decrease in breast cancer later in life.” Whole soy products containing high concentrations of isoflavones can help create the further beneficial effect of producing equol in the digestive system of the human body. Not everyone has the bacteria required to transform isoflavones into equol, but a study found vegetarians are 4-times more likely to be able to produce equol compared to non-vegetarians. Dr. Shapiro takes us to explore the benefits of soy from a genetic perspective. “Well, soy isoflavones upregulate the gene for DNA repair. So even if you carry that BRCA mutation, if you eat more soy, you're going to get more DNA repair, genetically speaking.”

Music Therapist Eva Hamer (vegan): The Compelling Health Benefits of Music Therapy, Part 2 of 2

12:05

Music Therapist Eva Hamer (vegan): The Compelling Health Benefits of Music Therapy, Part 2 of 2

Today, we will continue to explore how music therapy can contribute to our wellness and find out how the brain reacts to music. “We talk about music kind of existing globally in the brain. Whatever is still functioning in someone with dementia can often be stimulated by music. So I worked with a lot of patients who weren’t able to speak anymore, weren’t able to walk, weren’t able to do really much of anything, but often those same people were still able to sing with me, and able to come out of their shells and interact through music.”“People with speech impairments are helped immensely by music therapy. There’s an intervention called melodic intonation therapy, and it’s done by both music therapists and speech therapists, and it’s this very regimented way to teach people to speak again when they’ve lost the ability to speak through something like brain damage.”A drum circle involves a group of people playing drums in a circle or semi-circle, with the participants expressing themselves by drumming a rhythm. It can serve as one form of music therapy. “I think the really cool thing about drum circles is that participants and the audience are often the same. People who participate are the people who are playing music, and the people who are playing are the ones that the benefit is for often. And I think that it can be a huge mood booster; it can be a way to interact with others; it can be a way to fight social isolation, and to improve group cohesion of the group that’s participating in the drum circle.” We ended our interview by asking Ms. Hamer about how her experiences as a music therapist have helped in her current career as an animal-people rights activist. “I really like to apply the principles of music therapy to my activism, to think about animal rights activists who are experiencing some really difficult things, and are experiencing quite a bit of emotional trauma, when we think about animals dying every day. And so I love to use music with activists to help their emotional resilience, and their group cohesion, and their feelings of empowerment, and closeness to each other.”

Full Vibrancy and Light: Lesa Carlson (vegan) on the Raw Vegan Lifestyle, Part 2 of 2

11:43

Full Vibrancy and Light: Lesa Carlson (vegan) on the Raw Vegan Lifestyle, Part 2 of 2

‟I saw Kirlian photography, and that showed the energetic properties around food. It's around all living beings which have energy. The premise that by adding heat, you either create nutrients or up the nutrients is a false idea. When you have something that is full of life force, light energy, it's auric field, its glow, you are consuming light, we are light beings, and the properties of mass and matter, there is no difference." By eating whole vegan foods in their natural state, Lesa says we can achieve a degree of spiritual upliftment. ‟So the quantum field, the biofield of energetics, is really, as opposed to the older idea of vitamins and minerals, and fat and how many calories and this kind of thing. When you move into that it's an energetic vibrancy property, and that it is vibrating at the speed of light. And your food is not separate from that whatsoever, and it is vibrating. So when you align that with your vibrating frequency, you are going into a whole new dimension. And again, you go from, the dense food to lighter food, to food that has more water content, that lightens up your mass and matter to then full vibrancy, that then you're expanded, and you're floating, and you feel fantastic and happy. Okay, so tips on making raw food dishes palatable and exciting for yourself. First of all, play, have fun. And so when you see or feel something that's bringing you joy, or sparks that little spark in your belly, what I did in the beginning that really helped me was I would find something that was cooked, that I was wanting for whatever reason, and then I would just redesign it into a raw food dish or find something that kind of gave me those same sensations. I would say bring color, bring texture, bring different flavors that you like. So, I always say, take the normal thing and then put some interesting things yourself, even in raw food."

The Plant Based Diet Prevents Cancer

The Plant Based Diet Prevents Cancer

That since 1980, the majority of the population worldwide changed to a more animal-based diet. What they found is that there’s a 15 to 25 year lag in the occurrence of cancer. That’s why people didn’t know that the animal-based diet was so detrimental to health because its consequence took 15 to 25 years to occur. Interestingly, they also found that in countries or populations where more grains are consumed, the incidence of 20 common cancers are lowered. This shows that the animal-based diet increases the risk for common cancers, whereas the plant-based diet decreases risk for cancer.

Dr. Yami (vegan): Intuitive Eating for Families, Part 3 of 3

In addition to helping children to take responsibility for themselves, Dr. Yami encourages kids to take part in making foods in the kitchen early in life, given that it’s safe and under a parent’s watch. And, most importantly, it’s a wonderful time spent together! Dr. Yami touched on another aspect that affects children’s relationship with food and that is appearance. She believes it is crucial to help kids gain an acceptance of themselves in terms of how they look so they can be self-confident and avoid eating disorders. “The conversation isn't about what size should I make my child's body. The conversation is, what habits, behaviors, what lifestyle habits can we look to improve or change or tweak a little bit so that we can have a healthy life, a long, healthy life, where we have joy and happiness.” Dr. Yami talks about what types of foods need to be included and what supplements are a good idea for both kids and parents. “So, whenever you're feeding children a plant-based diet and whether you're pregnant, you do want to get a variety of plant foods, lots of different fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, nuts and seeds. And then there are certain supplements that are important. The most important one is the B12 and then the next one is vitamin D.” “And you can easily get enough calcium from a plant-based diet. For children who may not eat a lot of food and may eat small quantities of food doing a fortified plant-based milk, whether it's a fortified soy milk or a fortified pea protein milk. They usually also put the vitamin D and B12 in it.” “And I really want to see more schools adopt a plant predominant menu, adding more whole foods, more fruits and vegetables, whole grains, beans, especially beans, into the menus. But even on a larger scale, I would love to see policy changing in the United States to acknowledge and include the importance of whole plant foods.” “Practice and give yourself grace. And just find different ways to include more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, nuts and seeds. Don't be afraid to be creative; don't be afraid to have fun, and never be afraid to include your child. But most of all, I just want you to enjoy the journey.”

This two-part series features our interview with Dr. Wen B-Chen, the creator of the Mind-Body-Chi (MBC) relaxation exercise program, with 10 exercises that take 25-minutes to complete. Breathing techniques are integral to meditation, chi gong and yoga, and are of pivotal importance in the MBC program. Dr. Wen explains the reasons from a medical perspective. “And we know in laboratory studies if we grow cancer cells in a hypoxic environment, they grow fast, but if this is an oxygenated environment, they grow slow. In this program, one unique feature is we use a lot of breathing exercises.” “The breathing method in the MBC program is as important as body movement. Without the breathing method, the movement is simply a regular exercise. In this program, I put five different breathing methods. The first one is called MIMO. MIMO stands for Maximum Inhalation and Maximum Exhalation. ” “The second type of breathing method is called Vertex Chi, which means the chi flows to the vertex. The vertex is an area called baihui in acupoint.” “And the third method is called Dantien (solar plexus) Chi, which means the breathing enhances the chi flow into the dantien.” “The fourth method is called Free Flow Chi. Free Flow Chi simply means if you do this breathing method, you will allow that chi sensation to go all over the entire body. It's the most unique form of breathing method in this MBC program.” “Ever since I started this MBC program in 2007, in the past 10 years, I slowly noticed that we need one more breathing method - it’s called Forceful Exhalation. In this breathing method, you exhale and put additional pressure so that makes the muscle contract more.” Next, Dr. Wen demonstrates three movements that are combined with the breathing techniques to facilitate the chi flow. Now, let’s take a look at Dr. Wen’s demonstration of exercises 3 and 4 of the MBC program.
