Theoklitos Proestakis: Savior of Crete’s Homeless Dogs and Cats

Today we will share a touching story about a wonderful man who is a Shining World Compassion Award laureate and has rescued over 1,000 abandoned or stray dogs and cats. He has to work 20 hours each day and hardly has any time to rest, only sleeping 2-3 hours daily. “But for me, I just feel that I want to help them when I see these dogs suffering from pain. They have a soul, so I want to help them. It makes me feel so good.” In 2019, along with giving Theoklitos Proestakis the Shining World Compassion Award to recognize his splendid work on behalf of homeless animals, Supreme Master Ching Hai made a kind contribution of US$15,000 to the Takis Shelter. And as this show is being presented to you, Supreme Master Ching Hai: further "arrange to send US$30,000 to this compassionate shelter. With all love and tears of sympathy as well as gratitude to Theoklitos Proestakis and all helpers."

Recognizing Excellence: The Gusi Peace Prize 2019, Part 1 of 2

The Gusi Peace Prize is a prestigious award, often referred to as the Asian Nobel Peace Prize. The mission of the Gusi Peace Prize Foundation is: “To honor individuals and organizations who have given exemplary contributions to Global Peace and Progress, through international brotherhood and friendship, and by using their God-given talents for the benefit of mankind; to champion human rights and maintain governance, democracy, equality, international peace, and goodwill.” Supreme Master Ching Hai received the Gusi Peace Prize in 2006 in the category of Philanthropy and Humanitarianism. Supreme Master Ching Hai was invited by the Gusi Foundation to attend the 2019 awards ceremony. We now present the first half of Master’s message that was played during the Gusi Peace Prize Awards Night held on November 27, 2019. “The world in which we live and share all the God-given abundance and comfort, this whole world, includes all beings in it, and all should have peace. Hence world peace is “capital written,” whole, complete - WORLD PEACE!”

Reverend Pastor Robert Munro (vegan) of The Humanitarian Church

Reverend Pastor Robert Munro (vegan) of The Humanitarian Church

Reverend Pastor Robert Munro, or as he likes to be called, Pastor Rob, is the founder of The Saint Francis of Assisi Parish of The Humanitarian Church – a whole food, plant-based vegan house of worship in Erieville, New York, USA. Pastor Rob preaches a vegan sermon there every Sunday. The Humanitarian Church’s mission is “To introduce the Whole Food Plant Based Diet to impoverished, unhealthy communities throughout the world so as to provide freedom from illness… and cease the consumption of animal products so as to honor the commandment, ‘THOU SHALT NOT KILL’.” In 2010, at the age of 50, Pastor Rob’s life changed when he suffered his third stroke. His left side was paralyzed, his left eye was blind, and he was unable to talk or walk. The doctors gave him six months to live. Twenty-six days after becoming vegan, the paralysis on his left side was gone, his vision returned, and he stopped slurring and drooling. Not only did he fully recover, but he also became healthier than ever. Two years after becoming vegan, he experienced a profound spiritual moment, realizing that animal flesh in the body blocks the connection to God. “So, I decided to give everything to the church, live on minimal things, just (vegan) food. Because I need 5,000 lifetimes to make up for the 5,000 animals that died for me to eat them. I can't create life. So the best I can do is give my life in the service of God.” Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Gratefully present Reverend Pastor Robert Munro with the Shining World Compassion Award, along with a humble loving gift of US$10,000 to support your vegan Humanitarian Church. Lots of love, praises and prayers for your mission’s success, in God’s mercy.”

Prison Animal Programs: Transforming Lives through Love

Some correctional facilities offer animal-assisted therapy as a form of treatment to selected inmates who demonstrate good behavior. Today, we find out about the benefits of these programs, how they work, and why they have been proven effective. In Australia, the Queensland Corrective Services runs the minimum-security Palen Creek Correctional Centre. The Centre works with a program that finds homes for greyhounds. Liam the greyhound was fostered by an inmate so he would become accustomed to life as an animal companion. Let’s now hear from Liam’s foster father at the Centre regarding his experiences as a program participant. “He’s also never judgmental; he’s happy no matter what your mood is and what you’re doing. So he’s happy to cruise around and smile and be with you. I think also having an animal involved in this program helps with the communication between officers and inmates.” Animals love us for who we are. Some animals even can touch individuals who do not show emotion, including the inmates sometimes referred to as the “tough guys” in incarceration facilities. Dogs and cats can help to teach prisoners about care and gentleness. Correctional facility-based animal programs save the lives of animals and aid inmates in growing in humanity and expanding their personal development.

A Prayer for Compassion: An Interview with Filmmaker Thomas Wade Jackson (vegan), Part 1 of 4

Mr. Thomas Wade Jackson is an award-winning American filmmaker, photographer and musician. “I pray and meditate before all the interviews. I just say, ‘I’m here, whatever You need, use me like that force of love and life. Use me to make a better world.’ And I encourage us all to just be open to being vessels. Like the prayer of Saint Francis: Let me be an instrument of love and peace and compassion. And what I've discovered, which is a spoiler alert for the film, but all of the traditions I interviewed are in total alignment with a vegan lifestyle. Not only that, a vegan lifestyle exemplifies their teachings of compassion. One of the things I really have become very excited about is interfaith. We created an Interfaith Vegan Coalition in 2016. You see us create it in the film, because when I first had the idea, I just knew it’d be about spirituality and veganism. Now, my first interview was with Victoria Moran, who is our producer connecting me with everybody. She says, ‘You know, all religions have compassion as one of their base things. Can’t we all agree, despite whatever your religion is, that we should be compassionate to each other, and to all of life?’ That’s the thing that really connects all religions. So, I believe compassion is the door into bringing peace between the religions, because I’ll tell you, interviewing people from all these walks [of life], they all have similar things in common. They all share that we have a body temple, that there’s a spirit that resides in that body temple, that you should take care of that body temple, that’s very clear. That goes right with a plant-based diet. It goes right along. They all say, ‘You should take care of the environment, be stewards of creation.’ We should be concerned that we are polluting our water, and that we’re using our water. Each of us, if we are spiritual, we are stewards here and we have a responsibility to take care of this planet. Every path that I studied tells us that, and that goes along with a vegan diet, a lot less of a footprint. And the third thing they have in common is that they tell us, ‘We should take care of each other.’ And the fourth thing I would say is that all the paths tell us we should be taking care of animals; we should be loving animals. So they’re our companions. That animals are not here to be eaten, that they are our companions, and that we should only eat healthy plants. When it comes to compassion, doing the least harm to all of creation is the tenet of all these paths. I would say compassion is not only leading us down to a vegan path, but it’s also our connection with the inner faith of bringing us together, giving us something that we can work on together.”

Dr. Anita Krajnc (vegan) and the Animal Save Movement, Part 1 of 3

00:13:24

Dr. Anita Krajnc (vegan) and the Animal Save Movement, Part 1 of 3

Today, we have the honor of meeting Dr. Krajnc, the Canadian co-founder of Toronto Pig Save and the worldwide Animal Save Movement. Anita is a former political science professor at Queen’s University in the province of Ontario, Canada, who has studied how social movements move forward through public education. She is also a vegan. “Toronto Pig Save started doing 3 vigils a week in July 2011, and what we did was we would bear witness to the pigs on a traffic island when the trucks would stop. It’s such a powerful thing to meet the animals before they go to the slaughterhouse and to see their faces and look into their eyes. We called it bearing witness.” One of the devoted volunteers at Toronto Pig Save was the late Regan Russell. A former model, she had been advocating for animal rights since 1977. In late 2019, a bill was introduced in Ontario’s legislature making it illegal to interact with animals while they are being transported and expose the violence against animals in slaughterhouses and farms. Anita, Regan, and many other animal rights activists vehemently opposed the bill. It was passed into law on June 17, 2020. Two days later, it was a very hot day, and Regan and the other activists were giving water to the pigs on the trucks. Regan stood for several minutes in the road in front of the slaughterhouse to stop a truck so that the pigs could get water. The truck accelerated unexpectedly. Regan was killed. Vigils were held all over the world for Regan Russell. This beautiful soul’s compassion and her belief in justice and peace for all animals will always be remembered. We thank Dr. Anita Krajnc and her fellow animal advocates for their courage, and hope we can all work together to make the Earth a kinder and more beautiful place. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Gratefully present Dr. Anita Krajnc with the Shining World Compassion Award, with a humble, loving gift of US$15,000 towards your noble organizations, Toronto Pig Save and the Animal Save Movement. Lots of love, praises and prayers for your safety and success, in God’s mercy.”

Successful Refugees and Immigrants Leading the Way, Part 2: Supermodel Alek Wek

Today, we will introduce another outstanding refugee, Alek Wek, who left Sudan as a teenager and is now regarded as one of the world’s foremost supermodels. Compassionate in nature, she is also a humanitarian activist. Alek was born in what is now South Sudan on April 16, 1977, and is the seventh of nine children. To avoid the civil conflict, Ms. Wek and her younger sister were forced to flee to London, UK, in 1991. In 1995, four years after moving to England, Ms. Wek was discovered at an outdoor market in the London suburb of Crystal Palace by a scout for the famous agency, Models 1. Ms. Wek was also named “Model of the Year” by MTV in 1997. In addition to Elle magazine, Ms. Wek also appeared on the cover of many other notable publications, such as Glamour, Cosmopolitan, i-D, Forbes Magazine Africa, and Ebony. Ms. Wek’s influence goes far beyond the fashion arena. The supermodel is also a humanitarian activist and a prominent philanthropist. She has been a missionary for World Vision’s program to end HIV/AIDS, an ambassador for “Doctors Without Borders” and the U.S. Committee for Refugees Advisory Council’s advisory board member on issues related to Sudan. On June 17, 2013, she was appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador by the UNHCR. She said: “I believe that true beauty comes from inside you and that always shows through.” As a former refugee, Alek Wek has proven to us that regardless of adversity, anything is possible. She has also demonstrated that refugees can make great contributions to the countries they emigrate to and leave a lasting, positive mark on our world.

Planting Benevolent Seeds in Children’s Hearts – Nepal’s Shree Lho Basic School, Part 1 of 2

The Reverend Acharya Sonam Dorje Rinpoche built the Shree Lho Basic School to take care of orphans as well as underprivileged and marginalized children by providing food and board while they receive an education. He also wished to incorporate the fundamental teachings of Buddhism into the courses so the children could receive moral guidance through this ancient wisdom to cultivate love and compassion. As it is a spiritual boarding school, teachers play an influential role in making Buddhism’s teachings close to the children’s hearts, along with providing attentive care to them and encouraging healthy lifestyle habits. "This is a very rural area, here almost 80-90% of the local population is uneducated. As these people here have their own hardships, and didn’t get a chance to be educated in their time. They wish to have hope for their coming generations to get a good education and do better in life." "The people residing in this school, located in a Buddhist area, do not slaughter animals for food, and hence everybody eats vegetarian food in this school. Conservation of animals, such as these is also emphasized in the books."

Happy Supreme Master Ching Hai Day! Part 2 of 2

Happy Supreme Master Ching Hai Day! Part 2 of 2

We will further highlight how disciples commemorate Supreme Master Ching Hai Day today and every day. “Supreme Master Ching Hai Day reminds me to be grateful for the Supreme Master within. And to be of service to others, especially giving to those in need - like being there for loved ones, visiting and contributing to animal shelters, etc., and recognizing Master in every being to whom I am blessed to offer love and support.” “Supreme Master Ching Hai Day to me, is a day of gratitude to Supreme Master Ching Hai for imparting such a wonderful method that takes care of every situation in my life, and makes me feel like I’m walking on air with daily miracles and wonders. I do my best to treat everyone as if they are Master, to remind them that they are worthy and noble, regardless of their situation and stature, which will hopefully awaken their true purpose of searching for the Kingdom of God within themselves - which is Supreme Master Ching Hai’s wish for all of us.”

A Prayer for Compassion: An Interview with Filmmaker Thomas Wade Jackson (vegan), Part 4 of 4

This fascinating film traces Mr. Jackson’s visits with various religious and spiritual leaders about the most important principles they all have in common. The result was that he discovered all traditions are in alignment with the vegan lifestyle. He shared with us about his own unique spiritual journey of inner awakening. “Oh, I’ll tell you how Jesus freed me too. He freed me by, when He talked about the letter of the law and the spirit of the law. That gave me permission to realize words are going to be misinterpreted, that we really need to go with what’s the moment. And I didn’t have words for that either at the time, but through meditation, I’ve come to understand what He was trying to teach, which was, ‘Don’t go blindly.’ Because people will try to control you. And He really taught a lot about ‘Fear not, fear not, fear not.’ Jesus understood that when you’re in fear, you’re out of love; when you’re in fear, you can be controlled; when you’re in fear, you make bad choices, and you do things you wouldn’t normally do if you were in alignment with your compassionate true nature. And meditation is one of the best ways to do that, the best way is to learn to be present. No matter what’s coming at you, just be here. And being a dad teaches you a lot about that too. That changed my life as well. Children are just so present and honest. I’d say that she (my daughter) has been my most big spiritual lesson.” “My main message is, the challenge I’m presenting is not just for non-vegans. It’s for vegans; it’s for anybody. I think all of us need to embrace taking care of ourselves, having self-compassion, having self-love. Because honestly, the way I’m able to sit and send love to somebody who’s disagreeing with me and really feel it, is because I’ve learned to love myself, learned to accept myself, to be vulnerable. You have to learn these things. Meditation helps us discern. That’s why when you hear a verse, that may… ‘Oh!’ Go and take it within, meditate on it. I want everybody to meditate, and ask, ‘What can I do to make a better world?’ And then when you get the answer, move in that direction. Don’t wait for all the stuff to come to you. I just knew I had to move, and then the universe will meet you and give you the things you need. Please be courageous. Please realize this: If you are living a vegan lifestyle, you are a hero, not only to me, but to all of creation. And that’s brave, and courageous. And so honor yourself, know that you’re brave and courageous. Know that you don’t have to solve it all. You don’t have to fix it all in a day. The universe works through all of us.”

Recognizing Excellence: The Gusi Peace Prize 2019, Part 2 of 2

In 2019, there were 18 individuals presented the Gusi Peace Prize. Supreme Master Ching Hai was invited by the Gusi Foundation to attend the 2019 awards ceremony. Unable to join due to the carbon footprint from flying to the Philippines and Her many work obligations. She sent a loving recorded message to the attendees. We now present the second half of Master’s message that was played during the Gusi Peace Prize Awards Night held on November 27, 2019. “If we don’t demand their flesh, if we don’t eat them, if we boycott the animal-meat cruelty, so-called industry, then they will be safe, saved and in real peace. Then we truly contribute to world peace: real, whole world peace. I am speaking from my own experience. Your conscience will be free, your health will be good and your hearts will be really at peace, now and always.”

Happy Supreme Master Ching Hai Day! Part 1 of 2

Our program “Happy Supreme Master Ching Hai Day! Part 1 of 2,” celebrates the 26th anniversary of a very special occasion. On February 22, 1994, a grand event was held in Chicago, Illinois, USA, and Master was honored by the World Cultural Communication Association and the governors of the six flood-affected states who proclaimed February 22 as “Supreme Master Ching Hai Day.” But each initiate has his or her own special feelings about the meaning of Supreme Master Ching Hai Day. “Supreme Master Ching Hai Day is Master’s shining example of love in action that has helped me open and expand my love and care for others, animals, plants, and the environment. Following Master’s examples of love in action, I experienced contentment, joy, and peace in my soul.” “A day to remind us To always walk in love, To live our life in a saintly way, Helping others as we may, Today is a joyous day My soul is reborn, my spirit renewed.”

Dr. Anita Krajnc (vegan) and the Animal Save Movement, Part 2 of 3

00:15:47

Dr. Anita Krajnc (vegan) and the Animal Save Movement, Part 2 of 3

"When you use a love-based, non-judgemental approach, I think it’s easier to persuade the public to join us and to transform the industry from one that is producing animal products to one that is fully plant-based and vegan and ethical as well. I was charged for giving water to thirsty pigs in 2015, and I was acquitted for that. The judge agreed that compassion is not a crime. The Pig Trial was really important for the development of our movement. I had two vegan lawyers that were representing me, Gary Grill and James Silver. What they did with this case was they turned it around and put animal agriculture on trial. What we were fighting for was not only that compassion is not a crime and that it is a duty to give water to thirsty animals, we were also fighting for the principle that pigs are not property. They’re persons. We failed on that second goal. The judge did not recognize that, so that fight continues because it’s absolutely fundamental to recognize animals as persons. The Pig Trial brought a lot of attention to the Animal Save Movement, so it inspired more groups to form. I think artists are very important in social change. In our struggle, we have to use both reason and feelings and it’s art that really helps us with the latter. Joaquin Phoenix is someone who’s been to dozens of vigils in LA. Joaquin's speech at the Oscars was like a speech written from God, I thought. He was like the voice of God or angels." "I think we’ve become very disconnected from the natural world. And many of us, what we’re guilty of is an egocentric worldview, the belief that we’re the center of the universe. We go into the natural world and we plunder it for its resources. We feel entitled to artificially inseminate a cow and when she gives birth, we steal her baby, even though her cries of anguish are unmistakable. And then we take her milk that’s intended for her calf and we put it in our coffee and our cereal. When he was 17, my brother wrote this lyric, he said, 'Run to the rescue with love and peace will follow.' Thank you."

Divine Love Never Ends

Divine Love Never Ends

In a joyful celebration held on October 25, 1993, in Hawaii, USA, the then-mayor of the city and county of Honolulu, the Honorable Frank F. Fasi, proclaimed October 25th as “Supreme Master Ching Hai Day” and presented Master with the International Peace Commendation Award, Honorary Citizenship, Certificate of Merit, and a bronze bust of Her likeness that is permanently displayed in a Honolulu public park. He noted Her enormous contributions to philanthropic and humanitarian causes around our world and referred to Her as “an angel of mercy for humanity.” Throughout the years, Supreme Master Ching Hai has generously provided financial assistance across the globe. Master said that each time She makes a contribution, She wishes that She could give more. She always humbly attributes all Her charitable deeds to God. Master mostly performs charitable acts anonymously, while providing assistance to the most neglected and vulnerable. Master’s selfless care, unconditional sacrifice, and steadfast nobility are true examples of the all-encompassing love of God. Her constant connection with the Higher Realms is also apparent in Her abundant creative talents and deep appreciation of artists. Master has often emphasized the important role that artists play, by declaring the International Artist Day, in order to honor the inspired beings who bring so much beauty and love to our world. To benefit more sentient beings, Supreme Master Ching Hai created Supreme Master Television, in order to broadcast constructive programming, and inspire the world to embrace Her Vision of a peaceful planet. As many viewers have expressed, Supreme Master Television is a gift from God, bringing about wondrous and miraculous changes to the world. The ever-compassionate and merciful Supreme Master Ching Hai cares and protects all beings with Her indiscriminate and selfless love. It is Her longtime wish and sincere hope that the whole world will soon embrace veganism and obtain peace. Supreme Master Ching Hai’s deep, unconditional love is felt by all sentient beings. It is Her unconditional love that made Her descend to Earth in order to help this world; it is Her unconditional love that causes Her to return life after life, in order to liberate countless souls. In the benevolent spirit of Supreme Master Ching Hai Day, let us return to our original compassionate nature and live in harmony with all beings, humans and non-human alike, just as God intended. Most Beloved Master, we send to You our eternal gratitude for all Your all-embracing love and sacrifice. May You continue to shine in Your ever-youthful beauty with safety, good health, and contentment, as together we usher in a brilliant vegan era on Earth. Happy Supreme Master Ching Hai Day!

Successful Refugees and Immigrants Leading the Way, Part 3: Pioneering Surgeon Dr. Munjed Al Muderis

Dr. Munjed Al Muderis was born in Baghdad, Iraq. After graduating, he worked as a surgery resident at Baghdad University Hospital. One day in 1999, while he was on duty at the hospital, he and his colleagues were suddenly ordered by the authorities to immediately perform a very harmful procedure on a group of men who were just brought to the facility or face very grave consequences. Owing to his conscience and firm belief in justice, Dr. Al Muderis did not obey the order. After hiding for a few hours in the hospital, he quietly left, and eventually managed to leave the country. After spending time in the Middle East, Malaysia and Indonesia, he boarded an overcrowded boat headed for Australia. In 2010, Dr. Al Muderis started his career in orthopedic surgery. He is now a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopedic Association, an associate professor in the University of Notre Dame Australia’s School of Medicine and founder of a medical practice called the Osseointegration Group of Australia. He developed a new generation of osseointegration prosthetic limbs that solve many issues that patients faced before. Specifically, he specializes in leg replacements for above and below the knee amputees and is considered a world-leading surgeon in the osseointegration field. Dr. Al Muderis is actively engaged in various practical actions to help refugees and supports Australia’s community sponsorship program for such individuals. He is a patron of the Asylum Seekers Centre, Sanctuary Australia Foundation, New South Wales Amputee Association, and the Australian Red Cross. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Appreciatively present Dr. Al Muderis with the Shining World Compassion Award plus US$20,000 as a humble token of support, (if allowed,) toward the refugee-foundation under his care. Thank you for giving so many the gift of happiness through independent mobility by your skilled hands and making our world more aware of the plight of asylum seekers and refugees. May Allah always bless you abundantly.”

Manoj Gogoi: The Animal Rescuer of Assam

Manoj Gogoi, a Shining World Compassion Award recipient, has rescued over 5,000 different birds, reptiles, and mammals in the vicinity of the Kaziranga National Park in the Indian state of Assam. His passion and love for animals have made him a local hero. Manoj was born in 1975, and after finishing secondary school, he worked as a guide in Kaziranga National Park. In 2005, he met raptor specialist Dr. Ashok Verma from the Bombay Natural History Society. This encounter became a turning point in his life. Mr. Gogoi later took up Dr. Verma’s offer and learned much about birds and wildlife in his 3-month stay in Mumbai. In 2008, he created the Naturalists for Rehabilitation of Snakes and Birds (NRSB) to rescue and rehabilitate more animals. The non-profit’s mission is: “To stop the degradation of Mother Nature and to conserve, rescue and provide medical aid to injured wildlife and rehabilitate wild animals, snakes, and birds to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature.” Eventually, more than 100 youths from the area assisted him in rescuing more than 500 animals. Through this work and naturalist training camps he has held, he has planted benevolent seeds into the hearts of these youngsters and helped in raising their love and respect for all living beings. In 2014, in recognition of his fine care for fauna, he was awarded the title, “Wildlife Warrior” by the Corbett Foundation. Regarding the animal denizens of Kaziranga, Manoj stated, “They are my children, and I am their mother. I will protect them with my life.” In recognition of his efforts in wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, Manoj Gogoi was presented the India Star Passion Award in 2019 for Social Service (Environment) by the India Star Book of Records. The gentleman is also very concerned about global warming. He emphasizes that humanity needs to take the blame for polluting the environment, and asks all to nurture our world.

Successful Refugees and Immigrants Leading the Way, Part 1: The Legendary George Soros

In this series, “Successful Refugees and Immigrants Leading The Way,”we will profile prominent refugees and immigrants who have enriched the nations to which they have arrived, and contributed to the greater good of our world. George Soros is among these outstanding individuals. Mr. Soros, who left his native Hungary in 1947, is considered the founding father of the hedge fund industry and one of the world’s most distinguished philanthropists and richest men. Mr. Soros was born to a Jewish family in Budapest, Hungary, on August 12, 1930. Life in Hungary in the 1940s was very challenging, and in search of a better future, George Soros became an economic refugee, leaving his homeland for London, UK, in 1947. Initially, Mr. Soros’ career began with a bank in the UK, and in 1956, he got a work visa to join a brokerage house in New York City, USA. He created his first hedge fund, Double Eagle in 1969 (later renamed as Quantum Fund), and used the fortune earned from the first fund to create his second hedge fund, Soros Fund Management, in 1970. In 2017, the American publication Forbes magazine ranked Mr. Soros as the 29th richest person in the world, the wealthiest hedge-fund manager worldwide, and 19th among the 400 most affluent Americans. Before gifting the majority of it to his non-profit foundation, his net worth was estimated at US$25.2 billion. Mr. Soros has been an enthusiastic philanthropist for the past 40 years. In 2017, it was announced that Mr. Soros had transferred US$18 billion of his wealth to the Open Society Foundations. George Soros has expanded his philanthropy globally by supporting a large number of new efforts to build more responsible, transparent, and democratic nations. Today, the Open Society Foundations has funded individuals and groups in more than 120 countries around the world. The non-profit’s average annual expenditure is about US$600 million. Mr. Soros has received numerous honors and awards throughout his career as a direct result of his work in the financial field and dedication to giving back to the global community. Mr. Soros has written many papers, articles, and books concerning finance, economics, and geopolitics. As one of the modern era’s most successful financiers, his views on investing and economic issues are widely followed. His story teaches us that even under the most difficult circumstances we should still be optimistic and have positive thoughts. A big salute to all difference-making migrants, and George Soros in particular, for showing us the enormous potential of those who settle in new lands.
