Whatever We Want, We Will Have It, Part 1 of 12

(Thank You, Master.) No. Thank you! (Thank You.) (Thank You for coming to Hsihu and for being so good to the villagers here.) (Yes.) Thank you. (We make business whenever we come here. Thank You, many thanks.) Thank you! (Thank You, thanks Master.) See you. (Thanks, everyone as well. Many thanks, thank You.) Thank you. (Oh, Master can speak Hakka?) Just a little bit. What are you selling? (This and this.) You are selling this. Which one? Which one do you want me to buy? (It’s up to You.) Which one is not selling well? Is it this one or this one? Or that one? (It’s up to You.) Did the initiates come out to buy it? They said they did? (They would.) Did they buy it from you? (They would come out to buy.) (These aren’t sold yet.) Right, not yet. But would they normally buy it? (Yes, they would.) OK. Then I’ll buy a little bit, OK? This is very tasty. I am not going to buy all of them. Save some for others. Understand? (Yes.) (Just buy them all.) Just buy them all? What are they going to do if there’s nothing left when they come out? (As soon as it’s sold out. I can call it a day and go home.) You want to go home, OK. How many? How much? Pay her. (OK.) Note it down. (Yes.) Count how much is left in your wallet after you pay, (Yes.) then you know how much I owe you. (Yes.) It’s time to go. We’ll take the car. Here you come again. (Master, I am also here!) I have bought it just now. (Sorry, please buy some.) I can't buy them all. I don't have have enough space. (Just a little.) What are these? (Corns. They are roasted.) Corns again? (Yes.) We just bought a lot. (Master, You also speak Aulacese [Vietnamese]? I am Aulacese [Vietnamese].) Ah, Aulacese (Vietnamese)? Oh! (I am Aulacese [Vietnamese].) New citizen. Aulacese (Vietnamese)? (You see, Master understood.) (No, Master did not understand. I’ve just spoken Aulacese [Vietnamese], but Master did not understand.) I understood, why didn’t I? (Master understood.) (I just told Master to buy things from me, but You ignored me.) Didn’t I buy it? (She said You ignored her.) I did buy some. (Yes, you did. You bought peanuts.) No, I bought some peanuts already. (Yes, she said You... I told her. I told her Master is Aulacese [Vietnamese], and Master understood Aulacese [Vietnamese].) OK, I don’t have this. I’d like to buy this. OK, how many now? How much are these? (Oh, Mây, please say that is from another vendor.) (These are theirs. I only have corns.) These are not yours? (No.) Are these yours? (Yes, corns are mine.) OK, we will buy some more. (I am still eating.) Twelve. (Twelve. OK. Thank You.) Twelve. OK. (Twelve.) (Wei.) (Twelve.) Four, twelve already. (Yes, twelve.) (Oh, this is the first time I see You, Master.) I can sing Aulacese (Vietnamese). (I see You passing by here every day, but today…) Four, eight. (Nine, ten, eleven, twelve.) I can sing Aulacese (Vietnamese) also. (First time I see Her. Oh, my legs and my hands are shaking.) She said she’s shaky. She said she’s shaky. (No, today is my first time seeing Her...) Twelve? (Seeing Supreme Master Ching Hai in person.) How come it is the first time? (No, every... I live just down there.) Yes? (Today is my first time seeing You.) So beautiful. Aulacese (Vietnamese), so beautiful. (Today is my first time seeing You.) Can you sing Aulacese (Vietnamese) songs? (Yes!) Which song? (It’s my first time to see Master. I am so happy.) Which song? She said she has goose bumps. Why? I am just buying vegetables. (No. My heart is beating fast. Heart is beating fast.) OK. How much? Oh, we can't buy anymore because we have to go back to the gathering. (Time to go back.) (Twelve. How much each?) (NT$40 each.) (NT$40.) (Four times 12, NT$480.) OK. I am going back to the gathering, OK? (OK.) What kind… (Thank You, Master.) Some… which song can you sing? (…which song can we sing?) Roads of Vietnam, you know that song? (I don’t know how to sing that song.) (I forgot how to sing that song. I live here quite long, so I forget it all.) Say it again. Which song? Which song can you sing? Which song? (Now, I don’t remember at all. I am so happy to remember anything.) So how come you said that I don’t understand. (So happy…) She said she’s worried I don’t understand Aulacese (Vietnamese). I said, “Do you know any Aulacese (Vietnamese) song?” She said, “Nothing. Don’t remember.” OK. I am sorry, guys. (Master, my vegetables are very good.) Thank you! (Master, these were grown in straw.) OK. Thank you. Because… (These were completely grown in straw.) I see. Then I’ll take those that are readily prepared. (OK. I will just take NT$100.) OK. NT$100 each, so four of them are NT$400. (No. NT$100 will do.) That’s impossible. (No. I don’t want to charge so much.) So cheap. (These were grown in straw.) Grown in straws. (It’s organic.) Thank you. I like it. (Also beans and all others. We’re still picking. You see, there are a lot of straws.) I like it. It’s OK. Thank you. (Thank You.) The straws are also edible. (It’s grown in straws. Do You still want this?) That will do. OK. I’ve got to go now. I need to go to the gathering. They are waiting. How about I come by another day and start buying from this side, OK? I haven’t bought it from there. Thank you. Sorry. I must go to the gathering. OK. Thank you. (Thank You. See You.) (Did we pay you?) (Yes.) (Goodbye, goodbye. Thank You. Thank You, Master.) How do you say goodbye in Hokkien? (Goodbye.) (Goodbye.) “Goodbye?” Just like the Taiwanese (Formosan)? Goodbye. Thank you. Goodbye. (Goodbye, goodbye.) Bye-bye. See you later. Hallo. Where should I go? (Turn right, Master.) Turn right. Hallo there. Hallo. Turn right? This way? (Yes.) Hallo, everybody. (Hallo, Master. Master is so beautiful.) Hallo everyone! (Hallo Master!) You brought the sun here. We had a lot of rain yesterday. You should come often and we will have more sun here. (OK.) Where should I walk? People love me everywhere. Which way? Right or left? Who wants to say it first? (Left.) (Right.) A voice vote is faster. (Hallo Master!) Hallo everyone! (Master doesn’t get old. Hallo Master!) OK. Thank you. How is everyone? (Good.) Has the weather been good? (Yes.) OK. (Master, I love You.) Love you. (Master, I love You.) (Master is so beautiful!) You are beautiful. (Master is so beautiful.) (Hallo Master!) Thank you. Thank you. (Master is really beautiful!) (Master is beautiful.) (So beautiful.) How is everyone? (Good.) I love you very much. (I love You too.) Thanks for coming. (Master is so beautiful.) Thank you. Are the mainland Chinese still here? (Yes.) In the front. They are all here. Great! They let you sit in the front. Very kind. Oh, what should I do? This is a lot of walking for me. I can never walk around enough for you. (Master, I love You.) Love you, love you. Love you. I love you. I love you. Love you. (Master is so beautiful.) Love you. Love you. (Hallo Master!) (Master is so beautiful!) (Hallo Master!) You look beautiful. Your hat is pretty. Thank you. Thank you. (Hallo Master!) I love you. (I love You.) I love you very much. (Master, I love You.) Love you a lot. (Hallo Master!) Hallo! (Hallo Master!) Hallo everyone! (Hallo Master!) (Hallo, Master!) Hallo, how are you? (Hallo Master!) (Master looks so beautiful!) You are beautiful! (Master is beautiful!) Thank you. (Hallo Master!) (Thank You.) Is everyone OK? (I love You.) I haven't walked through here, have I? (Master, I love You.) Love you. (Master is beautiful.) I will go there later. Have a look. (Hallo Master! I love You.) Love you. Love you. (Hallo Master!) Why are you all here? Someone asked you not to leave? (Hallo Master!) We need to turn back. (Hallo Master!) Hallo! (Hallo Master!) I love you. (I love You.) Love you. (Master is so beautiful!) Thank you. Thank you. Hallo, how is everyone? (Master is so beautiful!) How are you? (Fine.) It’s warm. Do you feel cold? (No.) You don’t? Yeah, good, good. Thank you. Thank you for coming. Thank you. Oh! It’s better to be a man. Yes, you have more space. You can sit farther apart. That’s not bad. (Master has been working hard.) No, no. I am happy. Work is busy but it’s not hard. (OK.) It’s not hard. (Hallo Master.) Very good. (Hallo Master.) Are you OK sitting there? (Yes.) Were you assigned to sit there? Or did you volunteer? Volunteered, right? To see the old places. Wow! Is it OK here? (Yes.) You can squeeze together if it rains, right? (Yes.) OK. Wonderful! We don’t need to build an ashram, do we? There is no need. It’s good like this. The air is good, right? (Yes.) As long as we do this every day…on Sundays, it’s fine. It rained a lot yesterday. I am thinking of moving our "capital" to somewhere more sunny, such as Pingtung and Kaohsiung. But their centers are smaller. Let’s see if they can host us. Where are you from? (Pingtung.) There may be some odor over there. (A little.) A little. I did ask them to get ready in case we come. The place is bigger. Kaohsiung is smaller. It’s beautiful but smaller. There isn’t enough space for everyone to sit. OK? Have you seen me? (Hallo Master!) Hallo! Have you seen me? (Yes.) OK. OK. I will walk this way. (Hallo Master!) How are you? Hallo everyone! I love you guys. I love you guys very much. (Hallo Master!) Love you very much. Thanks for coming to see me. Thank you. Thank you. (Hallo Master!) Thank you. Enough. Have you seen me? I am the same as yesterday and the day before. I will walk that way later. (Hallo Master!) Are all the kids there? (Yes.) OK. I will go there later. OK? I don’t feel cold at all. Many people asked if I do any exercise. I said, “No, I don’t need to exercise. My dogs give me enough exercise. And when you come, I exercise a lot too.” OK? Thank you. Thank you for coming to see me. (Hallo Master!) Thank you. Hallo everyone! (Master, I love You.) Love you. I love you. (Master, I love You.) Love you. Love you. Thank you. (Master, I love You.) Love you. Love you. (Master, You are so beautiful.) I love You. I love you. Thank you. (Master, I love You.) I love you. Love you. (Thank You.) Thank you. Korean, huh? Korean, yes? (Yes.) Korean. Only Korean, nobody else? Oh, you came back. You stay here? I hardly see you. Where have you been? Sometimes I see you here. But you come up there also sometimes? OK.

Whatever We Want, We Will Have It, Part 2 of 12

They’re very honest people, you know. We just mistakenly gave a little bit more and they just ran after us and returned the rest of the money. They say otherwise you have to buy more to make up for the money. They don’t take your money at all. The people around here, you can trust. Aulacese (Vietnamese)? Aulacese (Vietnamese)? (Yes.) (Aulacese, Master.) Wow! The Aulacese (Vietnamese) came a lot now to Taiwan (Formosa). Maybe 50… 50? 50,000 or 500,000? I forgot. A lot of Aulacese (Vietnamese) have come... and lived here in Taiwan (Formosa) Do you know? (Yes.) I forgot how many. Anyone knows how many? Is it 500,000 or 50,000? Over 200,000. 250,000 Aulacese (Vietnamese) working in Taiwan (Formosa). And another 50,000 settled down here. Like wives and husbands. I hope you’ll be good. Among the Aulacese (Vietnamese) immigrants who live here, 250,000 are working here, and 50,000 are married here. 300,000 immigrants, see that? Are you coming to invade their country? (We come here to see Master.) You come to see me? (Yes.) What to say? “Excuse,” how to say in Aulacese (Vietnamese)? Good excuse? (Just an excuse.) Good excuse, that’s right. Everything, you blame it on me. I didn’t tell you to come. Did I? I didn’t, right? Did I? Did anyone hear that I told the Aulacese (Vietnamese) to come here? To work here? (No, Master.) Did I say that? (No, Master.) No. You just come by your own will, then blame it on me. You’re used to put the blame on someone else, right? It’s OK to come here, but you should work diligently and be a good citizen. Don’t make the comrades at home lose faces, OK? (Yes, Master.) If Uncle Hồ comes back to life, he’d scold you, understand? Oh, sorry, I’m sweating all over. I still look old, yeah? Still look old, right? Yeah. Today, I complained to the video team, said they don’t make me look good. But when I looked in the mirror, I said, “Oh, they tried their best already.” If they didn’t try their best, I would have looked even worse. Yeah, you cannot do anything about it. When you get old, you’re old no matter how much magic they’re doing with the camera or how much special effect. You still look pretty… (Young.) …old. What is that? What? You don’t dare say it. I said it for you. OK. Do you have translation? (Yes.) Do the Taiwanese (Formosan) have translation? (Yes.) Really? (Yes.) The last row too? (Yes.) You do? From here to the entrance and down there? (Yes.) You don’t have it? No translation? Why not? Can you give them some earphones? Two people here don’t have them. Share with your neighbors. Each person can use one earpiece. OK. It’s almost four o’clock. It’s time to eat. I want to escape. Every Sunday is the same. You make me sit here so you can look. I don’t know what for. You know I’m just getting older everyday but not look different. I just went out to buy, some shopping. If you need something, you buy outside first, before you buy inside. Okay. If outside doesn’t have or they’re closed, they’ve gone home, then you buy inside. Do I still look old? (No!) OK yeah? I’ve been running outside and then run inside again. I said if you need something, please buy from outside. OK? (Yes.) Give our neighbors some business. Make them happy. (OK.) They told me their produce is… It means having no chemicals. “You ji” (meaning organic). “You qu” (meaning interesting). (Yes.) Oh! “You ji.” Organic. This is interesting. So please buy from them. OK? (Yes.) They are very lovely. We just mistakenly paid them a little more, but they didn’t take it. They’re very honest people, you know. We just mistakenly gave a little bit more and they just ran after us and returned the rest of the money. They say otherwise you have to buy more to make up for the money. They don’t take your money at all. The people around here, you can trust. I’ve told you many times. But I will say it again. Please try to buy from them. OK? (OK.) If not for yourself, then for your neighbors. (OK.) Your neighbors, relatives and friends. So you can bond with them. OK? (Yes.) The prices are very low, right? (Yes.) A big bag of vegetables only costs NTD 100. Wow. It’s too hot. You are radiating heat to me. They want to barbecue me also. I’m already sweating, you know, sauce already all over. And the heater over here. Ah…whew! OK, just have a quick look and then we go eat. Not every day so late. I said I’d let you have a look and then go. Don't stay so late every time. I had guests just now. OK? I received some guests just now. I have been busy since six in the morning. I had guests just now, so I got to eat a little. How many foreigners are here today? Raise your hand. The Taiwanese (Formosan) don’t count. Taiwan is not a foreign country. If you are from Pingtung, you are not a foreigner. Oh. So many. Later we can go up there and talk. Any mainland Chinese here? (Yes!) Oh! Any Aulacese (Vietnamese) here? (Yes.) Yes. The Aulacese (Vietnamese), a lot here now. 300,000s. And the Chinese, 400,000s. So soon we have only mainland Chinese and Aulacese (Vietnamese). The Taiwanese (Formosan), less. Because many Taiwanese (Formosan) also went out, you know, to other countries to work or to stay or to marry or to settle down, something. So, just now one of the government officials told me that maybe soon only Aulacese (Vietnamese). Taiwanese (Formosan), very less. Oh wow, I’m glad. I am glad you like Taiwan. I like Taiwan too. Where else is as good? Lots of oxygen. Right? (Yes.) No matter how many people are here, the oxygen level is the same. (Yes.) Someone said just now that compared to one year ago, I look younger. Let me tell you maybe it’s true. Maybe the air here is better. Maybe I have been with the puppies and have been affected by their energy. They are so young and walk so fast. They run so fast that no one can keep pace. If they don’t want to come to you, you can’t catch them. You have to use a helicopter to do that. If you want to catch the dogs, I think you have to use UFO or something because they’re so fast. They had been cooped up too long, in Hong Kong also because we had to rent apartment while waiting, and then when we came here they had to be quarantined. I say “imprisoned.” I don’t say “quarantined.” “Imprisoned” for one week. So, when they came back here, the first day, oh, they ran from up to down, from left to right. Oh, they ran so fast nobody even saw them when they passed by. So fast! I said, “It’s, oh, there! No! Where? Where? Where?” And then suddenly “zoop!” again. So fast. They have so much energy. I don’t dare bring them down, the six of them. And they all run very fast. The big one is easier because he’s been with me longer. These only may be with me maybe seven, eight months or maximum ten months. They’re still babies, puppies, and they run so fast. They eat a lot. They want everything. Every time, anytime. And when they’re out, they run so fast. Luckily I have enough room, they can run. OK then. I am so happy to see you that I don’t know what to say. Are the foreigners staying a little longer? The Taiwanese are not here except on Sundays, right? (That's right.) You have no time, right? (We have time.) (We do.) You have time, then why don’t you come? Why do you wait for a retreat? Do you still want retreats? How many Taiwanese are here? Raise your hand. You can’t stay or don’t want to stay? Anyone? (We want to stay.) You don’t want to stay? (We want to.) You don’t? (We do!) (We want to! We want to!) Then why don’t you? (We want to.) You leave the foreigners to me to take care of. Are you afraid of them? (No.) (There’s this rule.) Huh? (There used to be a rule.) (No registration.) Who said so? (Master didn’t say so.) Did I say so? Did I say the Taiwanese can’t come? How funny! It’s your country. Why can’t you come? (Yay!) You can come and go as you please. It’s so convenient here. (OK. Thank You, Master.) The place is big and the country is free. (OK.) Why do you say you can’t come? Maybe it’s a misunderstanding. OK. Oh! You are so happy? (Thank You, Master.) I thought you didn’t want to come. (No.) Every time I came down to look for Taiwanese, I couldn’t find one. I thought you didn’t want me anymore, as I am old. (We won’t.) OK. Fine, fine. OK. If you want to stay, just stay. OK? (OK.) But you shouldn't neglect your responsibilities. That’s all. OK? (OK.) Don't neglect your responsibilities. Don't abandon your husbands, wives and children. We take care of them better than anyone else can. Understand? For example, I have assistants to take care of my dogs. But they do it differently. The dogs still see me as their main caretaker, their closest friend. They prefer to sleep with me, not with the assistants. Even though the assistants have taken care of them for a few months and they haven’t seen me for four months, they still recognize me. It’s the same with your children and husband. He won’t seek another wife. Understand? Neither will the wife seek another husband. OK? So please take care and nurture your relationship. Keep your family in good order. OK? (OK.) Don’t make an excuse to come here and say “Master said so.” I didn’t say so. I said you can stay if you want, not that you are required to stay. Understand? (OK.) Fulfill your responsibilities. OK? (Yes.) If we want world peace, we should have peace in the family first. Understand? (Yes.) Stay if you can. I won’t be here too long. I will go up to talk to the foreigners for a while. Those who can stay, do as you please. OK? If you can come, just do so. OK? I am just afraid it’s not convenient for you. When it rains, you’d better not stay. Yesterday it rained, but you had a retreat. (Yes.) How terrible! I was so worried. I was so worried. Were you all right yesterday? (Yes.) I asked if Pingtung and Kaohsiung can accommodate so many people. They said no. I am also worried about the vendors outside. If we leave, what will they do? Yes, I am worried. What shall we do? Let’s take them with us! I really worry about everyone. I am not joking. It sounds funny, but I am really worried. Yesterday it rained very hard. With so much rain, it was cold even inside my house and the cave. There is a dehumidifier that keeps the temperature a little warmer. But it’s still cold. Must be even colder in your tents. Were you guys supermen? Or heroes? Are you not afraid of the cold? (We are.) Were you cold yesterday? (Yes.) (No.) Yes or no? (YES.) (NO.) Yes and no. Yes and no. Some yes? Some no? Don’t you know it gets cold when it rains? (We know.) (We don’t feel cold when Master is here.) I didn’t come down here yesterday. Do you know why? (No.) I knew you were here, but I didn’t come. Do you know the reason? (The rain.) It was not because of the rain. I’m not afraid of rain. You are not afraid of it. How would I? I was afraid if I showed up, it would seem like I was encouraging you to come in storms and heavy rains. If you get sick, you will blame me. If you catch a cold, who will your husband or wife blame? They will blame me! Why tell people to come in such cold weather? Why tell them to come when it’s cold and wet? That’s why I didn’t come down here, so no one can blame me. You thought I would come since I was in the ashram. No way. I won. I didn’t come. There were so many of you, but you didn’t win. OK. I am going up to talk to the foreigners because they only stay for a short time. OK? (Yes.) Maybe they can’t stay very long. Some come from China. I am very touched by their stories. Some come from very remote places. The far corner of the mainland. Close to Tibet. So far away. It’s called Xinjiang. Xinjiang is extremely remote. Right? (Yes.) Heilongjiang or Bailongjiang. Wow! So far away! It takes them two or three days to reach Hsihu. Their stories almost move me to tears. Returning home from Hsihu will take them another two or three days. Two days for some, three for others. It’s been a week and they get to see me only once. So I will go up to see them first. You understand? (Yes.) The Taiwanese who want to stay can also go up. OK? (OK.) But don’t ask unnecessary questions. (OK.) Just listen. (OK.) OK? (OK.) Shut your mouth and open your ears. (OK.) Because they don’t have much time. I need to save time for them. Understand? (Yes.) I see you later up there, the same place, okay? Yeah. OK. See you next week if I am here. If not, check out Kaohsiung or Pingtung. OK? Are you from Taiwan? (China.) From China. How long can you stay? (I leave on the 15th.) The 15th. Today is … (The 10th.) The 10th. (Five more days.) Five more days. OK. Where are you from? Is it far? (Shenzhen.) Shenzhen. (Guangdong.) Guangdong. (It’s close.) It’s not too far, right? (That’s right. It’s close.) It’s very close. Oh! Shenzhen is near Hong Kong. Hong Kong. That’s good. He’s from China but not very far. He’s from Guangdong area, near Hong Kong. That means about two hours flight, but maybe sometimes they have to take a train or bus to go to the airport. OK then, I see you later. I wish you peace and happiness, and harmony in your country. (Thank You, Master.)

Whatever We Want, We Will Have It, Part 3 of 12

(Master, I love You the most.) I love you the most. (Master, You are so pretty!) You are pretty too. Thank you. (Master, I’ve liked You since I was little.) You’ve liked me since you were little? Wow, I am so honored. Can someone drive my cart here? Drive my… (Drive the cart.) Yes, ask the Dharma guard to drive my cart to the front. OK? I will go from here. Ask the Dharma guard to drive my cart to the kitchen. (The basketball court.) The big kitchen. (The basketball court.) By the basketball court. OK. Thank you. No one plays basketball now, but it’s still called that. The kitchen. In the past... (It was for basketball.) Long time ago, a few decades ago, that basketball court was built for the little monks. It was very useful. There was a little monk here. He was very small. He used to play a lot of basketball and grew very tall. Really tall. Two meters! He is from Taiwan, but he grew very tall and was exceptional. It’s useful. If you want to grow tall, set up basketball hoops at home. It’s too late for us. (Too late. We are old.) Forget it. It’s too late. Forget it. It’s for others. OK? See you next time. Next week or next stop. Thank you. Wish you peace. (Thank You, Master.) (Love You.) Now we have this. It’s nice, yeah? It’s better than nothing, right? (Yes.) Yes. If I’d known earlier, I’d have built more for you. OK. We have a new place for pitching tents. Do you know? It’s not ready yet, but maybe next time it will be. OK? Yeah, thank you. Peace, everyone. I am here to pay my debts. Love you. (How are You, Master?) Good. Good. (Hallo, Master!) (Hallo, Master!) Very good. Hallo kids. (Hallo, Master!) How are you? Why are you sitting here? Husband? (No.) Why sit here? No? (I’m from Australia to see You, Master.) Why didn’t you sit on the… (I was told to sit here, so I’m just...) Who? Who told you that? (All your friendly service.) Come with me. Come with me. We’re going there. We’re going up there to see all the foreigners. You can come with. (OK. Thank You, Master.) You have any friends or anybody? (No. My sister-in-law.) Sister-in-law comes. Yeah, OK. (Hallo Master!) Hallo! (Hallo, Master!) Hallo! Hallo! Hallo! (Hallo, Master!) Hallo everyone! (Hallo, Master!) Hallo! (Hallo, Master!) We are all getting old. (Hallo, Master!) (Love You, love You.) I love you. (Love You! ) Love you. (Love You so much. I love You.) Love you. (Hallo, Master!) I am afraid you will be squashed, so I dare not. (Love You. Love You.) Love you. (Master is so beautiful.) (It’s wonderful! Thank You, Master. Please give me a pat [blessing]. Thank You, Master.) Hallo everyone! Come over here. (Hallo, Master!) (Thank You, Master.) The kids can come here. The kids are OK. Come. The adults, please don’t push. Ah! Wow! (Master, I love You the most.) I love you the most. (Master, You are so pretty!) You are pretty too. Thank you. (Master, I’ve liked You since I was little.) You’ve liked me since you were little? Wow, I am so honored. Yes, I heard you. Thank you. (You patted (blessed) me.) Oh. I did. OK. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So many children. You have been diligent in having so many children. Wow! OK. OK. (A big group of children.) You have so many children. Wow. So many children. OK. (I like Master.) I like you. Be careful of the little kid, the little boy. Whose little boy is this? Hallo. (I didn’t get a hug.) Hallo! I love you. I love you too. Be careful of the little boy. You are here again? I can never finish hugging people. What to do? I can never finish hugging. What to do? Anyone who didn’t get a hug, come here. (I didn’t get a hug.) You didn’t get a hug? (Not yet.) OK. OK. OK. Don’t push. Don’t push. Don’t push. OK. (We are so excited to see Master.) Really? How did you know? (When I saw a big crowd coming this way, I knew.) So smart. OK. OK. Be careful. Don’t push. Enough. Don't. Don't. There are kids in the front. OK? The kids are in the front. Don’t push. OK? (Thank You.) And that one. The ones behind didn’t get a pat or a hug. Don't linger after you get a hug. (Master, I love You.) Love you, love you. Thank you. (Master, thank You.) (Master, I love You.) Love you, love you. (Thank You. Thank You.) OK. Hallo, baby love! Hallo, hallo. OK. (Thank You.) Have all the kids received a pat or a hug? No? These two haven’t? Yes? Love you, love you. Don’t be greedy. (Thank You, Master.) Thank you. Thank you for having such beautiful children. (Thank You.) Yes? I have patted everyone, right? No? Oh! The elders. Don’t push. Don’t push. I pat whoever is here. Others, please don’t push. Don’t try to squeeze in. (Thank You, Master.) Don’t push. (Thank You for Your love.) Don’t push. (Master, I love You.) Love you, love you. (We are grateful to Master.) Love you. (We are grateful to Master.) OK. (Hallo, Master.) Enough. (Thank You.) Don’t push. Don’t push. OK. (Thank You.) I want to escape. (I love You.) Hey! Love you, love you. Thank you. (Hallo, Master.) Thank you very much. (Hallo, Master!) Come here, come here. (Hallo, Master!) Don’t fight. Don’t fight. (Don’t push. Don’t push.) Don’t push. Don’t push. If you get a pat, fine. If you can’t, don’t push. OK? (Hallo, Master!) (She has been watching. Please pat her, Master.) You are back again? OK, very good. Enough. Enough. (Thank You, Master.) The elders, the elders. (Master, there is an elder here.) An elder. (Here, here, come. She is blocked. Come.) OK. The elder. How are you? (Master loves you very much.) (Hallo, Master!) Love you, love you. Hallo! (Thank You, Master.) (Master, she is also an elder.) The elders. (Thank You, Master.) Be careful, don’t push. The elders are in the front. OK? Don’t push the elders and the kids. They might get hurt. All... (Yes, yes, thank You.) Have I given all the elders a pat? (Master, thank You.) Good. No problem. Not a problem at all. OK? The old people have less chance. Understand? They are here today. Not sure if they will be here tomorrow. So I give them priority. Don’t be jealous. Are you old? So young and beautiful. Hey! Everyone. OK. OK. Very good. Very good. Very good. Thank you, thank you, grandma. (Thank You, Master.) OK. Yes, yes. (Thank You, Master.) I am going now. (Master, goodbye.) Bye, see you. (Master, bye.) Where is my golf cart? Is it here? (It’s at the main entrance.) You come up with the foreigners. Come. Come. You’re welcome. I am just sorry I am delayed (No, no, Master.) by love. Come with. OK? Let him in. Bring him up. Hey! (Hallo Master!) Please don’t push. If you haven’t got it, go over there where there’re fewer people, then I can better reach you. Go there. Don’t push. Go there. Spread out and go there. Let that foreigner come up. OK? (Bring him over too.) Yeah. (Hallo, Master!) Hallo! (Hallo, Master!) Once you get a pat, give the space to others. OK? (OK.) Ah! Ah! (Thank You, Master.) Ah! (Thank You, Master.) Don’t push. Don’t push. (Thank You, Master.) Love you guys. (Love You.) (Thank You, Master.) The ones behind haven’t gotten a pat. Let them come to the front, OK? If you haven't got a pat, just come. (Go once you get a pat.) (Go to the back after you get a pat.) (Leave after you get a pat.) (Master, I love You.) Have I patted you all? (Yes.) Missed anyone? The mainland Chinese can go up. You can go up. OK? (OK.) Good. OK. OK. OK. (Thank You, Master.) Sorry. OK. (Master is forever young and beautiful.) (OK. I am contented.) Thank you. Oh. You don’t know how to do it. (Manual brake.) Let me do it. It’s OK. Like this. That Dharma guard didn’t buy enough things. Where are the snacks? (For the Dharma guards?) Yes. For the Dharma guards. (We’ve put them away and will give them to each of the Dharma guards.) Are there enough? (Yes.) Give a little for symbolism. OK. I couldn’t buy from every vendor. I had no time. OK? (OK.) Ask the accountant to pay you. OK? (OK.) Count everything. (Understand.) If you don’t take the money that I borrowed, I will expel you. (OK.) Understand? (Yes.) You understand? (Yes.) Back up a little. (OK.) (Master, bye-bye. Thank You, Master.) Love you. I can’t love you enough. There are so many of you. Thank you. Love you. I’ll come down later. OK? (OK.) You guys arrange it quickly. (OK.) Why haven’t the foreigners come up? (OK. Invite the foreigners to come up quickly.) I’ll come down later. OK? (OK.) Tell him to wait over there. (OK.) Is there anything special? (Fruits can be eaten directly.) This is not ripe. Not good. (Oranges.) This one is good. Are there any (vegan) cookies or candies? All gone? (Cookies and candies…) Nothing? Didn’t I buy them? They’re all in his… (They’re probably at the guard’s station.) It’s right. But what about those I’ve bought? Those at the guard’s station are for the vice minister. Bring out whatever can be eaten readily. Is there any other place? No more? There’s one down here. Here. (OK. Here.) This belongs to here. Any more? That’s all? (Bananas.) Bananas will do. OK. Very good. (Peanuts.) Peanuts are also fine. (OK. Peanuts.) OK. Peanuts. One for each of them. (One each. OK.) One each. (OK. One each.) It’s OK now. I bring it there. The foreigners sit at the back. Yes. Look at that chart. I am leaving, or they will cause a mess. Those few foreigners, where have they been pushed to? They were sitting right here. (Over here.) Oh. Thank you. You get peanuts from me, that’s all you get. Together, OK? (Thank You, Master.) Some more. (Thank You, Master.) Here. (Thank You, Master.) I don’t have a lot. It’s just, everybody, (Just take a couple.) one piece. (Yes.) (Yes, Master.) Here, together. Everybody. Give the foreigners, the Westerners. (OK.) These are from Taiwan (Formosa). Organic. It grows around here. Oh, this… Oh, also this, can do. You take some and throw it. (OK, Master. Thank You.) Here you go. (Thank You, Master.) Take it. Why do you do that? Ah, eat it, eat it, eat it quick. (Master.) (Thank You, Master.) Anything else? No. Everybody, one. (OK.) I’ll come back real quick, OK? I’ll come back soon. (Yes, Master.) I let them have time to prepare, and you settle down. I’ll come back. Here, two. How many? (Here?) Oh, no. It’s not enough. They might fight. I will give to the working staff. Sorry. I wanted to buy more but didn’t have time. No time. These are vegetables and you can’t eat them right away. I bought these to make them happy. My kitchen can also use. They are all vegetables, right? Put them anywhere. Twelve is not enough. But, do you Dharma guards all have? Take some symbolically. (OK.) I will come back down quickly. You handle first. Once you are ready, go up and tell the other Dharma guards and ask them to inform me. (OK.) Thank you very much. There is another session. It’s too late for you this way, too late for you the Dharma guards. I’ll work by myself. You can go home, in case you are afraid of your wife and children making noise. If you need to go home, please go. Go down together and eat something if there is. Then go home. The stuff I just bought. Ah? (OK.) Eat together, and then go home. Whoever can stay, then stay. If you can’t, just go. I won’t blame you. It’s no need. There are many people. Who dares to do anything to me? They are very fierce. Even I am afraid of them. OK. Yeah. Another session. All Taiwanese (Formosans). (Hallo, Master!) Ha! All Taiwanese (Formosans). So noisy! Thank you. Are you cold sitting like that? (It’s fine.) (Not cold.) Is it OK? Yeah, thank you very much for your love. Enough. Enough. Thank you. Have you ever eaten this before? (Yes, Master.) You did? (Yes.) Ah! (Thank You.) The Westerners, anybody who has not eaten this before? You? (Not yet.) Oh! You two share. No, no, no, no, no! You ate this in your mother’s stomach already. You two. OK? You two share. Only Westerners, they don’t know these things. Anyone? The Westerners. Have not eaten this before? (This one, not.) You have not? OK. You like it or you have not eaten? (I love this one.) “I love,” then you have eaten already. OK, never mind, give it to you. (Really?) You’re from far away, from Australia. (Thank You.) And this one, ah no, I have just a little bit. Everybody has like half or something. The Westerners only. I bought it outside. (Thank You, Master.) OK, you are welcome. Together. Everybody, one piece. And you two share that precious fruit. They call it sugar apple here in Taiwan (Formosa). Sugar apple means Shakyamuni. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, because this one looks like the top of the head, Shakyamuni Buddha had them when He was alive, so they call it sugar apple. So you’re eating the Buddha’s hair. Good luck. (Good luck.) I thought you Westerners haven’t seen those things, and haven’t eaten, so I give to you. I don’t have a lot. That’s for me. I give it to you. Oh! So many people come here again. How come? I am talking about foreigners only. (Taiwan [Formosa].) Taiwanese (Formosans) are OK, of course. But why so many? Don’t you go home? Don’t eat and don’t go home? My God. Behind you also, and then on the side. Here, here, oh, here also.

Whatever We Want, We Will Have It, Part 4 of 12

Anyway, there’s some problem in the world, you know that. Because we are different. Some like men, some like women, and this is where the problem begins. If we all don’t have men, then we don’t have a lot of trouble. Some have trouble, right? And if we don’t have women, the men would also have more peace. Sorry about that. But sometimes you cannot choose. OK, listen guys. The mainland Chinese who just arrived or haven’t seen me since last week, raise your hand. Mainland Chinese. OK? Which one is from the furthest place, like taking two or three days to arrive? You, how many days? (We are all two days.) Two days. (Two days.) Two days, or three, four days. Starting from two days, come here. Slowly. Don’t be jealous. They come from so far away. We should treat them better. Come here, the two days. Only two, three and four days can come here. Come over here, understand? Don’t push. Don’t fool me. Don’t fool me. Come here. (Thank You, Master.) Each gets a little. OK? (I love You.) I love you. (Master, I love You.) Love you, love you. Come up. Come up. First. (Master, I love You.) Oh! So many people. It takes two or three days to be able to arrive. Really? (Yes.) Let’s check ID. OK. Let’s check. Sorry. Sorry you guys, watch your feet. Watch everything that you have. I am not responsible. Yeah, come here. Come closer. Closer. Come up. Sorry, my stage is small. It’s OK to come up. Come up if you can, because I can’t reach that far. OK. Take whatever you can get. (Master, how are You?) Come. Here, mom. (Master, how are You?) Come. Just a few per person. Don’t take all. If you have extra, give to the neighbors. I am not a supermarket. You already took six bags. This place is not a supermarket. I cannot have everything. There. (Hallo, Master!) Yeah, hallo! Where are you from? So far. The old mom doesn’t have it. You have got it. Come, mom. (Thank You, Master.) Give her a little more. OK? Don’t take. (Thank You, Master. It’s the first time. Thank You, Master. I took already.) No problem. Not too many people. Stay, and have more look. Come. (Thank You.) I love you. Come. (I love You too.) Don’t push, don’t push. I will give. (Master, love You.) Love you. Don’t push. (Master, I haven’t seen You for 11 years.) Eleven years? (Yes. I have it already.) You have it? (Thank You, thank You.) Slowly. (Master.) I will throw if I can’t reach. OK? If it’s too far. Come. I will throw. Each person takes a few. OK? (OK.) One or two pieces is enough. (OK.) It’s not that the more you take the more love you have. It’s not like that. The ones in the front contrarily can’t get any? (I want to present this to someone.) (Master, I haven’t gotten one yet.) (My husband.) Your husband and mom don’t have it. (Thank You.) No old people? (Yes.) (Oh! Thank You! So many.) Whoever doesn’t have, raise your hand. No, not you. Whoever hasn’t taken it, raise your hand. (We all have it.) Mom, the red one. (Thank You, Master.) Does everyone have it? (We all have it.) (I don’t have it.) Here you are again. Wife. (For my husband.) You are married to him, not me. Why should I care about your husband? It’s her husband, not mine. (Thank You, Master.) (This one.) Whoever still doesn’t have, raise your hand. She hasn’t got it yet. You already have it. Slowly. Of course, you want 20. I know it. There are also the villagers. The villagers and the town residents, right? Whoever doesn’t have, raise your hand. Whoever doesn’t have on this side, raise your hand first. (Thank You.) You don’t have it here? The ones who haven’t taken first. (Thank You.) You have so little. Too little, raise your hand. A little symbolically. You will not be tired of eating it. (Never tired of eating.) Come. Don’t have? OK? You don’t have? (I do.) Then why do you raise your hand? (Master, I have.) If you don’t have, raise your hand. You don’t have? (I do.) Only the ones who really don’t have. (We all have.) The one behind. OK. Enough. Everybody has already. No, no! (Thank You, Master.) Sit down, OK? Sit further, or we won’t have enough space. Sit further back. You Dharma guards step aside. Dharma guards step aside. You Dharma guards step aside. Sit further back. This way it’s more spacious. Sit further back, so it’s more spacious. The elders sit up here. Take this away for now. Otherwise it’s not enough for them. All elders come up. Those seniors, come up. The seniors come up first. Sit, sit. Come over. Come up. Sit. Sit down. OK? Yes? (Yes.) Old mom. Please sit. Don’t kneel. OK? Sit. No problem. Don’t worry about the shoes. It’s just the floor, and it can be wiped later. She has nothing? She didn’t get it? (I have.) You do? Please sit. OK. It’s OK. Grandma doesn’t have it? (Yeah.) OK. Then please sit back a little bit. (OK.) Take these away, OK? Dharma guards, please. Let them sit. We can take care of it later. Please sit, mom. Mom, sit here. The one in green and red, sit there. Come over here. OK. Oh! How many days haven’t you washed your clothes? I can smell it. It’s not because of soap, right? Old mom, please sit down. The best place is for you. Please sit. Don’t worry about the shoes. Put the shoes on. I also put them on. Too cold. Put them on. Do you have earphone? (Yes.) Be prepared, because sometimes I may speak English. Do you have an urgent question? (No.) No. That’s good. (Long live Master! I wish You live 10,000 years.) Thank you, I don’t want to live that long. A hundred years is long enough. 10,000 years is too long. Do you want? You are so old and still come. So far away and you still dare. (It’s not easy.) Easy? (Every time I wanted to come but couldn’t make it. I wanted to see You but couldn’t.) You couldn’t see. (Finally I see You this time.) You dare to come from that far. (Master, I saw You in Thailand in 2006. That time I was far, far away. For more than ten years, I have always wished to see You from close distance. Today my wish has come true. Thank You. I am very touched.) You are welcome. Don’t start to cry. They all will. If they start to cry, trouble comes. I don’t have enough... (Thank You, Master.) Here. You are welcome. Coughing? Anyone coughing? (I cough a little bit.) A little bit. Even if you didn’t, you might start to cough. (There is another one who is a renunciate. She is a renunciate.) A renunciate? (She is a Taoist renunciate.) A renunciate? Oh! (Since following You, I have stopped being a renunciate.) Stopped? Don’t do that. Continue to be a renunciate. (Thank You, Master.) OK. Come. Give to that dad. A renunciate. No. You are not a renunciate. If you shave your head, I will give to you. OK. That’s all. Look at me more. OK? Can you ever see me enough? No more space. OK? Is it close enough? (Enough.) (It’s close enough. Thank You, Master.) It’s better than nothing, right? Take it to that crying person in the back. (I can close my eyes when I die.) What about dying? Don’t die. (My wish is fulfilled.) Your wish is fulfilled before death. I thought you came here to die. Please don’t. (I am content. And I am OK.) My God! OK now? (I am content. Thank You, Master.) OK. Good. (Can I prostrate before Your feet? I want to kowtow at Your feet.) What for? No. (Let me kowtow at Your feet.) Please don’t. You are so old. It will hurt when you squat down. Please don’t. (It won’t hurt.) No need for external gesture. OK? Respect in the heart will be enough. All our love is in the heart. Don’t bother. No need to prostrate, kowtow, or things like that. (Master, please take care.) (Thank You, Master.) (Master, please take care.) I will take care. You take care too. (Master, please take care.) Can never finish touching. Please forgive me. Can never finish touching. (Thank You, Master.) (It’s good.) Just the elders, OK? I will touch the old people in the front. Too many people, can’t touch you all. OK. Good. (Thank You, Master.) (Hi Master!) Hi! (Master, we feel very much content now.) Oh, yes. Thank you. (Thank You.) Can’t finish touching. If I continue, you will push too hard. It’s too hard. Don’t. Thank you. Oh, my God! No external gestures. OK? (OK.) It’s OK if we know it in the heart. It’s OK if all of you practice well. (Thank You, Master.) Are you initiated? No. You are? Why did they give you such a funny…? (I was moving house. I was moving house in Australia. I misplaced it somewhere.) You lost it. (Not lost, just misplaced.) Misplaced somewhere. Is your new house better for you? (It is much better. Yes, Master.) Where did you move from? And where to? (I was living down on the New South Wales coast. And now I moved to the Gold Coast.) Gold Coast. (Yes. In Australia.) For gold? (Not for gold, Master.) Of course. OK, love. Then you could sit together with them. You follow them (Yes.) so that you don’t get lost, because it’s the first time you came here. You show him everywhere, you guys. (Yes.) The men, not the women. I’m worried where you want to show him. We have a couple of men here, it’s all right. Just so that people don’t misunderstand us. Really. Before, I had big dogs, so I preferred men. They can drive car. They love driving! They love machines, any kind! So driving is their stuff. And I also like them because my dogs are big, so they can carry them to the car, carry them from the vet. Sometimes when they are sick or they cannot walk, or when they’re older. But then we have some problems also, with men, because people would think why I have so many men swarming around. I don’t know why, either. Ask my dogs. And then later, also sometimes jealousy so I say, “OK, you choose women, better, less trouble.” But then I have another problem. You never know who’s a real woman or just 50-50, or even 100%, the other way around. You know what I mean? You never know. So the outside doesn’t really matter too much. It’s the inside. Oh, my dog is here? I brought him down and I forgot. There’s no chance to come, baby! No chance! He is big. Oh, my God. There’s no place here, Good Love! You can go back home if you want. If he makes trouble and if you don’t want to stay, you can bring him back home. If you can control him, it’s OK. Go bring him some water, drink. If you want to go home, take him home. Normally can, but today he can only sit here, but I don’t think it’s a very good idea. I didn’t know women can also become jealous with each other. Because the 50-50 problem. You understand or not? I don’t know any more nowaday who is who. I don’t know who’s 50, who’s 100. So I just close my eyes. Whatever! I don’t want to see anything, I don’t want to know. As long as they don’t bother me. We have some problem, because of sometimes competitiveness, or sometimes jealousy. So it doesn’t mean if you have a lot of men around you, then you’re OK, then you have no problem. They also can be jealous of each other, for no reason. Funny! And if you have women all around, with me as a woman, it’s not necessarily that you have peace. Sorry, monk. Do you want to come up? Forget about it. Sit there with the boys. Don’t push him. Understand? He is a monk, so keep your distance. Be respectful and keep your distance. Five meters is the best. It’s not even five inches on this side. Look. Recite Buddhas’ names, and it will be fine. That nun should also recite Buddhas’ names. Then it will be fine. OK.

Правителствата трябва да поддържат морала и достойнството, част 1 от 3

“We are having shortages of food at present due to the climate, COVID and tons of other reasons. So let them contribute, not burden their countrymen and make bad examples for others, especially for the youth!” Host: During a work-related phone call with a Supreme Master Television team member on July 27, 2021, Supreme Master Ching Hai graciously took time to answer some questions regarding a few current events. As it was spontaneous, we didn’t record the conversation properly. Thus, it is not suitable for airing. We sincerely apologize and offer our respected viewers this summary, along with a voice-over reading of the transcribable parts from Master’s replies, picked up faintly in some parts by a nearby mobile phone. VO: Upon being asked how She has been doing, Master said that She was OK but very busy, taking care of many things every day: not just Supreme Master Television, but also numerous other matters and issues, ranging from businesses to people’s varied temperaments. Master said that even with the pandemic which also affects Her ventures’ income, a lot of funds are still being given out by Her all the time, and there are many monthly and other expenses that need to be taken care of. Master is living alone and very simply, at present in a 2 by 4 meter room. It is a space that would be sufficient in case She needed to take care of Her dogs. (Her desk is the same as how we saw it before, with all the cables and wires running all over it!) She also mentioned that it was encouraging for Her to hear some good news from around the world. For example, the Northern and Southern parts of Korea have taken peaceful, positive steps by resuming communication and agreeing to improve ties. Also, some rich patrons invested in a new vegan production company, plus vegan food and the vegan trend are growing so fast! Master then asked if there were any other questions. Q(m): Yes, there are. In California, a law called Proposition 47 requires some certain serious crimes to be charged as less serious ones, with the consequence that criminals are openly committing acts of theft without fear of prosecution. For example, one would have to steal over US$950 of goods from a store to commit a felony and thus have the police be interested in arresting the suspect. Below this amount, it is a misdemeanor and not considered worth the time of the police and prosecutors to arrest and convict the individual. What does Master think of this law? VO: Master answered that even misdemeanors, meaning minor crimes like theft, are unlawful, and could lead to worse, more serious felonies. (Investigators say Joseph Espinoza and his accomplices pulled up in an SUV, trying to rob Nick and his friend as they stood outside, before Espinoza allegedly fired several shots.) (He was shot in the back of the head, running away.) (Just hours before the deadly shooting, Fresno Police say officers found Espinoza and his friend, Jose Figueroa, in a room at Motel 6 on North Blackstone. They arrested Figueroa on gun charges and found methamphetamine on Espinoza.) (But instead of being booked into jail for a felony, under Proposition 47, he was issued a misdemeanor citation for that charge.) (Prop 47 did kill my son.) VO: Thus, governments should not be encouraging lawless behavior, which might cause other states’ or countries’ people to think that misdemeanors are acceptable. Also, after the California law was implemented, many small businesses and people have suffered from an increase in thefts; in some worse cases, businesses were forced to close, maybe due to fear of attack, and loss of income. Master said this is not right and so She does not agree with this law. In Master’s words: “… They take anything they want and run out. (Yes.) Just like that. That is not a good example for anybody. (No.) Especially for the children. You see that. (That’s right.) Maybe the prison is full, but they can build another kind of prison. (Yes.) Don’t have to keep moving them to the extremist prison. They can build a more simple prison for the very light kind of misdemeanors, they call it, right? (Yes, misdemeanor.) And then make a job in there, create a business to sell, to give them work. (Yes.) … (Yes, that’s right.) Make kind of a company, and all the misdemeanor people have to work there to earn their keep.” (Yes.) (We take the freedom from them, but when they are here, we try to help them, to get better citizens.) (Inmates have a normal work week, giving them routine and responsibilities. Training to be car mechanics, and graphic designers in a state-of-the-art studio.) (From the City Hall, we’re getting jobs from them.) (Learning skills like restaurant prep (where they’re trusted to handle knives) can help them get jobs on the outside.) (Before, I’d think more like a criminal. But now I start to think more like a normal guy.) In Master’s words: “They cannot, just because the prison is full, tell people to go out and steal. That is against society’s principle. That will lower people’s dignity, and create a chaotic, unsafe living environment. You cannot just live freely, stealing people’s property like that. And then in the meantime, you are even defunding the police, telling people to not buy guns and all that. No wonder crimes soared up. Because it is all contradictory. The business owners have to pay taxes, have to pay their employees, employees’ insurance, bonuses, vacations, etc. (Right.) They also have their families, children to take care of too! They must pay for all kinds of insurance, mortgages, school fees, and hundreds of other things. The government is responsible for the poor, not shoving this burden to private citizens, who already contribute for this through tax payment! How can they live being robbed anytime without protection from the police and authorities!? (Yes.) On top of that, they are not allowed to have guns for defense. (Not that I support guns, but the poor hapless people will be forced to resort to this means of defense, thus create a more beyond-control violent society!!!) It’s absolutely against logic, morals and any society’s safety standard. I hope they will change this harmful law! I mean, people have to survive. (Yes.) I mean the good people, the hardworking kind. (That’s right.) The backbone of society… Shop owners risking their capital to open a business, they must earn their money. And if the shop’s items are always being stolen like that, the business will be out, then consequently the employees, the good kind of people, will be fired. And then he has no money, and then what to do? Copy that thief. (Yes.) Maybe because they have no job. Or maybe because they say, ‘Oh, what the heck, why not?’ (Yes.) They work very hard. And that guy who does nothing, can come in and take everything he likes. ‘Why the heck I don’t do the same?’ See what I’m saying? (That’s right.) It’s a very bad, bad, bad example. Don’t you think so?” (I agree, I mean it creates like a ripple effect.) “Yeah!” (If one person does it, the others think, “Ah, it’s OK.” And this is not good.) “Sure! Even in Europe they saw all of that.” (Yes.) “It has this very bad reputation, for whatever county of the United States, or state, or country. You cannot teach people to be immoral and bad, and then expect the whole nation to be safe and sound! Especially the USA, the country that people look up to! Imagine being called the country of thieves! What an ‘honorable’ name for its citizens! (Yes.) Suppose the thieves came into any of these lawmakers’ homes. I don’t think the lawmakers would be welcoming and say, ‘OK, take my daughter’s bicycle, take my son’s computer. (Right.) Take my best suit. Help yourself, take anything you want, they’re less than US$950.’ I don’t think any of these lawmakers would do that. (No.) It’s not just about the stolen goods, but about how long can any shop owner keep their cool over this. And then one day, he might lose it. And then there will be more violence. It’s about people’s peace and people’s lives. Can you see that clearly?” (Yes.) How long can any shop owner afford it? Without businesses, there will be no taxes for the government to exist. So the Proposition 47 law is just like biting the hands that feed them.” (Mr. Lý is the manager at the Mobile Mart on Union and 19th Street downtown. He also dabbles in criminal art, with a portrait of shoplifters on his wall. But he says it’s gotten much worse the past two years.) (We just caught another one!) (Like when? Today?) (Yeah, about 10 minutes ago.) (He has dozens of video clips of people trying to slip items into their pockets and pants. However, Mr. Lý believes he’s only catching about 20% of them.) (How often do people come in and create problems in the store?) (Every day. Every single day.) (It’s not an exaggeration. While the interview was underway, customers were filling their pockets with merchandise and just walking out of the store.) (Is shoplifting an issue?) (Oh, yeah. They decriminalized petty theft in California. So, it happens every few minutes. Literally in our store, probably 15-20 times a day.) (20 times a day?) (Oh, yeah.) (Businesses say rampant and brazen thefts, many tied to larger criminal fencing operations, are escalating at a rate they’ve never seen before, people walking out of big and small stores with whatever they want.) (That Walgreens over there got marked as a store that you could walk in and steal stuff.) In Master’s words: “And another thing: American people are well known for their generosity and giving charity. It is even reported that America donated the most for charity causes throughout the world. It’s one thing to give voluntarily with love. But it’s another thing to be robbed and just stand by helplessly like that. (Yes.) This really is abuse. And the people who come in to steal, how do we know they are poor and needy? They may not be. Because the police don’t check, nobody dares to check them. They are lawfully criminal… (Right.) Lawmakers live in safety and comfort anyway; completely different from ordinary, working-class people. They just want to have a good guy name, and they want to forget the poor like this. They are eating well and don’t really care. And then the youth will think all this thieving is OK (Yes.): ‘I don’t need to work extra to buy that CD, when I can just go in and take anything from a store. Nobody will do anything. They will just film me, but they won’t do anything about it.’ (Yes.) If this law continues, the shop owner won’t have any more income, he’ll become poor – and then what? Become a thief. And that breeds one more thief in society. Even in a communist society, the government tells people not to go out and steal, to not just take from others like that. The communists don’t do that. (That’s right.) With this kind of law, society will go down. Some people just don’t want to work and have to pay for things. Then the shop owner will be forced to close shop and maybe forced into stealing, adding one more thief to society, because of this kind of law.” (Walgreens has already closed some stores in San Francisco, citing theft problems, and last week, confirmed it’s closing another location in Oakland due to ongoing organized retail crime.) In Master’s words: “I told you I will not mince my words anymore. People have to know. Even if America is rotten, I say this for the rest of the world. Look at the church, the Roman Catholic Church, how nobody said anything and they covered up all the abuse. Children were killed. (Yes.) Everywhere, from the church to the government, they are rotten. They’re working for Satan. I tell you I am an angry Master. I’m an angry vegan Master. This law will just breed more violence. People today will steal things for US$900, and then tomorrow it will be more, US$2,000. There will never be an end to people’s greed if you just let them loose like that. Normally, people will not think of stealing. If it is so easy just to go into any store and take things like that, then there is no use of opening shop anymore. (Right.) It’s too tempting for even the good ones. In the long run, the whole nation will be encouraged to be thieves because it’s too easy to get things for free and not have to work. Since more than a year especially, already the people in America have to suffer, because of arson, because of burning houses, because of looting businesses from big shot-encouraged protesters.” (People will do what they do.) (Oh, my!) (I don’t think that’s fair for us because we are small business owners.) (The store was broken into two more times. Each time, Williams had to come out of his own pocket to restock.) (A lot of my own people say, “Oh, she ain’t to worry about that, she’s got insurance.” People don't know how insurance works. I haven’t got paid for insurance yet.) (In some cases, buildings were burned, never to reopen, or remain boarded up months later while owners try to recoup their losses.) (So far, I think we’ve lost about ten businesses.) (I’d never seen violence like that before. They ended up pulling my mom out of the car and they attacked her, and they broke her leg, and they broke her nose.) (It’s not clear if her parents will ever feel safe enough to reopen their humble neighborhood shop.) In Master’s words: “Because of COVID-19, many businesses had to close already. And then if they have to suffer like this, it is truly… I don’t know if anybody dares to open a business anymore. Then where will we go to buy our stuff? We have to respect business people, shop owners. For all their hard work, for our convenience.” (Yes, that’s right.) … They should solve the economic problem, not just avoid the crowded prisons or playing the good guy, caring not about how hard-working taxpayers must face hardship, danger daily, fending for themselves in a fearful, lawless country. Make other prisons different from them. Let them all work there and work in the garden. (Yes.) Even plant vegetables, make an organic farm. Plant, and sell. (Yes.) And enjoy. We are having shortages of food at present due to the climate, COVID and tons of other reasons. So let them contribute, not burden their countrymen and make bad examples for others, especially for the youth!” (In Finland, many detainees are sent to low-security facilities, where they interact with the local community, have jobs, and prepare a smooth return to society.) (About one-third of the prisoners work outside for the National Forestry Commission. Others work in civilian jobs as long as they have authorization. And the rest work here, on-site.) (Part of that site is the prison farm.) (Do you think a prison like this will stop you (from) committing crime in the future?) (Oh, yeah! It’s good, the system here is good because they treat you differently. They want you to be a better person for the future. So they give you an opportunity.) (Every indicator shows that, yes, it works better.) (With some of the lowest rates of crime and incarceration in Europe, prison reformers often look to Finland as an example.) (The food produced here actually goes back in to feed inmates and can feed staff. And the inmates are actually doing the work too. They’re doing all the hard work out here.) (Corrections officials believe this farm is a great training ground for inmates, who may pursue agricultural work after their release. Also, between crop production and a composting project, this facility saves taxpayers about US$400,000 a year.) In Master’s words: “No meat. Right now, especially right now. We should not. It will be something to be proud of, that will keep their dignity. (Yes, of course.) Nobody will treat them like they’re bad, a thief, and shunning them like a plague, an infecting virus, (Right.) like a problem. And they will be good if getting help that way.”

Правителствата трябва да поддържат морала и достойнството, част 2 от 3

“Well, I haven’t seen any other president in the world so hated and so bullied and so cornered as President Trump. Even if I were a Democrat, for moral correctness, I would feel sorry for Trump. Because President Trump is for peace, never incites violence. (Yes, that’s right.) Contrarily, many Democrats encourage unrest, and defund the police, which is the people’s protector. (Yes.)” In Master’s words: “Long ago, I read a story. There was a thief, and he became a killer. Because of the situation, that forced him to kill. And then he became a murderer, (Yes.) from a small thief he graduated to robbing and murder. And then he had to be executed. On the day of his execution, he asked permission to see his mother. So they brought the mother. Because the mother is already there in the crowd; they always jump in to see the execution. (Yes.) But when he saw his mother, he hugged her, and bit off her ears. Oh, and it was bloody all over! (Whoa!) The people asked him, ‘But why? Why did you do that? Why did you do such things to your mother?’ (Yeah.) So he said to them, ‘She is the real criminal, not I, because she taught me to be the way I am right now. (Yes.) Because when I was a child, I borrowed a pen from my classmate, because I lost my pen…’” VO: Master explained that when the criminal was a boy, he came home from school one day with a pen. But the next day, he no longer had it. His mother asked him why, and the boy replied that he had returned the pen to the classmate who had lent it to him. In Master’s words: “And then the mother said, ‘Why did you have to really return it? You should keep it. And if he wants it back, you can just yell at him or beat him up.’ The boy was vulnerable, and he did just that. And later, it became like a habit. (A habit, yes.) And further down, more and more and more, he became a very professional thief. (Yes.) And then later, he wanted more. His mother encouraged him. He became more and more a thief. (That’s right.) And then he got caught by the police. So he said, ‘My mother is why I became the way I am right now.’ You see what I’m saying? (Yes.) Thief, robber, and then murderer. It’s not far off. (Right.) Yeah, possible.” VO: Thus, Master said that lawless deeds should not be encouraged in any country. The security and wellness of its citizens rest with the government of that country, that’s what they are selected for, not to harm their country and citizens by any way, by the consequences of their neglect to make correct laws. In Master’s words: “Number one, it lowers the dignity of human beings. Also, it makes a very bad example for other people. And then that society may be OK now, but it will get worse and worse. There will be no principles. It will be hard to govern, hard to maintain peace and order, and the authorities and a bad society will be a sore in the eyes of the whole world! What will become of such a nation, when citizens become eventually degraded into criminals, losing all dignity and morals!!! Oh dear! (Yes.) What next?” Q(m): His Excellency Donald Trump has recently spoken out against the push in the United States to allow transgender athletes into women’s sports. He feels it is wrong to allow biological males to compete, may cause an eventual end to women’s sports, and violates federal laws protecting women’s rights. Mr. Trump is upset that the Biden administration has withdrawn support for a lawsuit seeking to disallow transgender athletes from competing in women’s sports, as while in office his administration supported it. How does Master feel about transgender athletes participating in women’s sports? Is it appropriate? In Master’s words: “Not really. Because these transgender people are strong, they’re like men. (Yes.) Stronger and bigger. You see?” (Yes.) VO: Master explained that it is not fair if transgender females compete in women’s sports, because they are built differently. (Terry Miller and Andraya Yearwood, dominating the competition at the girls’ track and field championships in Connecticut earlier this month. Coming in first and second place respectively. Their wins are making national headlines, not because of what they did, but because of who they are: two transgender girls.) (In the ’70s and ’80s, we had the East German system, where female athletes were filled full of testosterone, and it made them unbeatable. So, for nearly a whole generation, the East German women totally dominated in almost all female sports at the Olympic and world level.) VO: Master also suggested that sports competitions could have a transgender category. In Master’s words: “Can make a different section. (That’s right.) It’s very unfair already. Feels not good already, not to talk about fight with a weaker woman. Different in nature, already smaller in stature. You see what I’m saying? (Yes.) Women sports should be only for women. That’s why they’re called women sports. (Yes.) Or if the trans people want to be sportive, why don’t they create it for trans? (Yes.) Just like we have Paralympics for handicapped people. (Yes, that’s right.) Also like teen sports. It’s for teens only. (Yes.) And if it’s teen sports, but they bring in all the fathers inside, it’s not cool, is it? (No. That’s right.) It’s not correct, OK? (Yes.) Trump is right, because he can see better. It’s so simple like that. Any other questions?” Q(m): Thank You. Yes. The United States House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has created a special committee of House members to investigate the January 6, 2021 protest incident at the US Capitol. Republicans have generally opposed the committee’s formation, and Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy has criticized the committee’s membership, as none of his picks for the committee were selected by Ms. Pelosi. Ms. Pelosi has chosen two Republicans as committee members, Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger. In Master’s words: “Oh, yeah, against Trump. (Yes.) They wanted to impeach him.” Q(m): Right. However, as You said, both voted in favor of impeaching His Excellency Donald Trump after the incident. The other seven committee members are Democrats. (“Ah.”) What does Master think of the formation of this committee? In Master’s words: “What a surprise! I am surprised. Surprised that in a very supposed-to-be just and democratic society, it’s a one-sided kind of judgment. (Yes.) Just say, even a normal citizen, when he committed something wrong, they have a fair court. (Yes.) And if they don’t even have money to hire a lawyer, the government even offers a lawyer for him or her. That was like that in America. (Yes.) But in President Trump’s case, it’s completely different, completely opposite to democracy. Without any lawyers, police even. (Yes.) In his old age, without friends, he could not bear. You can see already. Why bother making a committee? (Yes.) Just to write it all down, ‘He’s all guilty, he’s bad…’ Whatever. Like they have been saying all these years already. They even criticize, they call him bad names. They even call him bad names by his skin color or his hair or weight or whatever. Oh, it’s a terrible example of society. (Yes, Master.) They don’t even respect his constitutional position as head of state. He’s one of the elected, legally, fairly, correctly. (Yes.) It’s not a fair trial, you can see it already. (Right.) What’s the use of the trouble of making a committee? (Yes.) Just to make themselves a laughing stock again for the global elites? It was the Speaker of the House, she refused and neglected to provide extra security on that day, though she had been reminded by President Trump and warned by others. And now they blame Trump. All blaming him. It’s not fair. And the Democrats make a bad reputation for themselves, with witch-hunting tactics like this. Everybody can see it’s one-sided and unfair. They accuse him of anything they want because it’s only one-sided. There is nobody there to defend him or point out the opposite truth or anything at all. (Right.) Why bother with a committee? Just write it all down, whatever they want to accuse him of, and be done with it. (Yes.) Why waste money, time, and tax payment for nothing? For what? They just want to distract. You see what I’m saying? (Yes.) Because the next election for president is coming in four years. (Yes.) So they just want to keep it going on like that, so that President Trump and the Republicans will be distracted, busy and with less high morale for the election, dragging his reputation further down. You know, for voting season! (Yes.) Also, they want to unite their party members against one common so-called “enemy,” with the intention to cover up their failures internally as well as internationally. As they were not too successful with COVID, with vaccines, with the illegal immigrants mess, with the press critics of President Biden’s speech, with surging crime, inflation, etc. And failure to secure respect and dialogue from global leaders like with Russia, China, Iran, North Korea and so on. (Right.) Honestly, they are doing themselves a discredit, the Democrats, and the disloyal Republicans, too obviously like personal hatred. One doesn’t have to be very wise to see it! (Yes.) Well, I haven’t seen any other president in the world so hated and so bullied and so cornered as President Trump. Even if I were a Democrat, for moral correctness, I would feel sorry for Trump. Because President Trump is for peace, never incites violence. (Yes, that’s right.) Contrarily, many Democrats encourage unrest, and defund the police, which is the people’s protector. (Yes.) Even after so much bloody, fierce civil battle, shop looting, death, business burning by the demonstrators, still some important, influential Democrats have been openly bailing inmates out for more, or telling them that there should be more unrest, or encouraged more trouble, further damaging the country’s economy in the pandemic time, when these kinds of speeches and deeds are dangerous, as they would fuel more violence and bloodshed, as they evidently did. (Right.) People are already in boiling water by COVID-19, losing lives, losing livelihoods. Such irresponsibility should be under control, at least outwardly, to show some caring sympathy for co-citizens. But they didn’t care how simple people had to deal with all this. Only when they perceive some threatened situation, then all hell gets loose, and it’s dragged on and on. (Yes.) And all the above people are those who are condemning Trump before and continue to try further to crucify him, to blemish his good name again and again. While Americans are still reeling in the pandemic, and financial struggles, plus so many disasters! What a party the Democrats have turned themselves into!”

Правителствата трябва да поддържат морала и достойнството, част 3 от 3

“More than an English gentleman. (Yes.) He was American, but truly a gentleman. Especially in the war, even. (Yes.) And he had the heart of a saint, not like a bloodthirsty murderer. (Yes, that’s right.) He did not want warring. He sought peace only.” (Yes.) VO: The conversation about the United States reminded Master about the recent show on Supreme Master Television about the first United States President, His Excellency George Washington. (Yes. George Washington.) In Master’s words: “He wanted to make a great country of the United States of America, tried to make it a great country. (Yes.) Make it become what it is today. A free country as America is, it would make me want to become an American citizen. Brave country.” VO: When Master was sent the program about President Washington for perusal, She had such a nostalgic feeling. In Master’s words: “I’m thinking to become an American citizen. Feels like my own race. (Yes.) He (George Washington) treated his enemy with love, you know, and respect. Oh, and that touched me a lot. That’s why I love the country so much. Even just the clip that you have… I felt, I don’t know, in tears I just watched it again and again. It’s something I cannot explain. (Yes.) And then, I just wanted to become an American citizen to safeguard Her (America), from whoever tries to hurt Her. As if shielding a child from any bully! No! Seriously I was kind of taking sides, feeling sorry for the Americans, siding with President Washington, siding with the Americans. But consider my age already, what am I to do? Just had a strong kind of desire at that time, while watching. (Right. Yes.) And it still keeps lingering. (Wow.) But I probably won’t do it, what for would I do it? I was made Honorary Citizen, already many times. (Yes.) I feel a strong connection to that country. I should be an American citizen. I just feel like that. But, you know, the bureaucracy… Because on Earth, I’m 70 already. 70-plus on Earth’s calendar. But I felt I wanted to become an American citizen. (Yes.) (Oh, thank You.) Thank You for what? You are not American.” Q(m): No, I’m not. But for sharing Your sentiment. It’s nice. In Master’s words: “I watched that and I hated all the warring, that causes so much suffering. (Yeah.) That’s why I hate it. Why did the English, at that time, have to go all the way to America, far away from their country, just to fight? The Americans, they prepared also the settlement, came to the frontier, they tried to build up their country. (Yes.) And that had nothing to do with England. (That’s right.) The English went over there and made bloodshed. (Yes.) Against people like Washington. He protected his enemy’s dog like his own, and as a courtesy, made a ceasefire so that he could send his soldiers to return the dog. (Wow.) To his enemy general. (Yes.) Yeah. If talking about English gentlemen, he (Washington) could be more than that.” (Correct, that’s right.) “More than an English gentleman. (Yes.) He was American, but truly a gentleman. Especially in the war, even. (Yes.) And he had the heart of a saint, not like a bloodthirsty murderer. (Yes, that’s right.) He did not want warring. He sought peace only.” (Yes.) VO: Master watched and rewatched the clip about President Washington and the part of the President returning the dog to the enemy general, and said that She didn’t understand why people would make war with one another. In Master’s words: “Any more questions?” Q(m): No more questions. But we have some good news. There is a minister in Spain, His Excellency Alberto Garzón, who posted on his Twitter account a message similar to what we say. He also posted a video explaining why meat is the issue, and he’s urging his co-citizens to eat less meat. “Our health and that of our families are at stake. The excessive consumption of meat harms our health and also the planet.” VO: Very pleased with this news, Master mentioned that for his courage to speak the truth, She would present a Shining World Brave Leadership Award to Minister Alberto Garzón, with “love, love, love.” Q(m): Just another good news, one more. American billionaire Jeff Bezos has recently invested in Nature’s Fynd of Chicago, USA. Other investors include Bill Gates and Al Gore. The company uses a fungus to produce protein for its alternative meat and dairy products (“Ah, vegan.”) that are vegan. In Master’s words: “Wow. Bravo. Good boy! (Yes.) Good, wise investment of money. Good to create jobs like that. (Yes.) Still better than nothing already. (Yes.) My God, they’re all grown up already. There’s all the evidence from the scientific reports. It’s so obvious that meat is the problem on our planet. It causes all the pandemics, all the trouble, war, suffering.” (Yes.) VO: Related to the current trend of support for vegan proteins, Master noted that it is better to invest money in this way that takes care of our Earth, rather than investing it on escaping to other planets. We should take care of our world first. Master admitted that She would also like to escape sometimes, but She is here to help alleviate the suffering of all beings on this planet. So She marches on! Q(m): And then just further on that, the company later in 2021 intends to sell meat-free breakfast patties and dairy-free cream cheese. They’re also working on creating vegan burgers, chicken-less nuggets, and dairy-free yogurt. And he (Jeff Bezos) is also an investor in a venture capital entity founded by Bill Gates that recently invested in Nobell Foods, that makes vegan cheese. They plan to release vegan mozzarella and vegan cheddar cheese by end of 2022. VO: Master replied that all the talk about vegan cheese was making Her wish for some, saying, “Yum yum!” She also mentioned that before, She did not know about the animal cruelty that was involved in the dairy industry. A discussion followed about the nice varieties of vegan cheese products available nowadays. Master recalled that when She was in Europe, it was so easy to get vegan products everywhere in the supermarkets, and that the taste and quality were so good. In Master’s words: “In Europe, they have beautiful French bread, with all kinds of different vegan cheese. Tastes so delicious. The vegan cheese, (Yes.) and vegan beef, vegan chicken, vegan whatever. Oh delicious, huh? (Right.) Just right next door. Because in some countries, you have to order from far away.” (Yes.) VO: When Master recently tried some vegan blue cheese that was shipped from America, She really enjoyed its authentic flavor. In the country where She is staying at the moment, quality vegan cheese has to be imported. Master mentioned that it would be good if more companies locally produced vegan food products. Then people would not have to go through the trouble of having items shipped from overseas and in containers that require ice blocks and packs to keep the food fresh, thus involving a lot of handling. It is also uncertain how clean the shipped products are upon arrival. Master also said that in Europe, it is so easy to get ready-made vegan snacks, like vegan meat slices that can be eaten from the package. These do not need to be cooked and can easily be added into a sandwich. As Master is so busy, She does not have time to cook at all, so it would be very convenient for Her if these kinds of products could be easily obtained like they can be in Europe. Master then shared that although She is very busy, She is also very grateful that She can continue to do Her work. But in order to do so, Master also has to take care of Herself as much as She can. Q(m): Yes. We are very grateful and glad You are able to continue. Thank You, Master, for taking care of Yourself. VO: Master further revealed: In Master’s words: “I am not able to do video calls, nor talk to a bigger group at the moment, for security reasons. It’s the karma of the world; too much killing consequence.” VO: Master expressed Her gratitude and much Love for all of the Supreme Master Television team, for all their hard work and effort. Master added that She works very hard too. Q(m): Yes. The hardest one. The work-the-hardest one. VO: Finally, after making sure that She had answered all the questions, Master asked if there was anything else. (Not at the moment.) In Master’s words: “OK.” (Thank You, Master.) “God bless.” (God bless, Master.) “OK love. Ciao, ciao.” (OK, bye-bye, Master.) “Bye-bye.” (God bless. God protect, Master.) Host: We are grateful for our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai’s shared insights, as well as Her straightforward, loving advice for governments. May all leaders and citizens alike uphold fair and noble principles, thus helping to preserve the moral dignity of our human race. We wish Cherished Master to continue Her noble Work in peace and robust health, with the forever loyal assistance of all High Heavens.

Whatever We Want, We Will Have It, Part 5 of 12

I said the air quality here was good and we laughed a lot, laughing all the time, and laughing at nothing. Right? Look, I am right. I said nothing but you are laughing already, and laughing so much. OK. Sorry. It’s not that we are disrespectful, but our home is chaotic. Look, they run like this and push like that. No one dares to control anyone else. They are out of control. Understand? I shouted very loudly until sometimes I lost voice. They still won’t listen. They just keep charging ahead. They come when it’s raining or stormy, or when there is a typhoon. They don’t care about earthquakes and are not afraid of anyone. I also am afraid of them. That’s why I just told the Dharma guards, “Forget about it. It’s too late for you.” Normally they guard until five o’clock and go home. The bus would be waiting. So I said, “Please go home first.” They still wanted to stay and protect me. I said, “No need. So many people. No one dares to do anything.” And it’s such a scary group. This group is not even afraid of thunder. Understand? I said, “Even I am afraid of them. Who dares to come here and make trouble?” Do you all understand? Laughing so hard. Fine. If you can laugh, I am happy. Laughter is good for us. It’s said that laughter keeps us healthy, (Yes.) lifts our spirit and improves blood circulation. So laughing more is not a problem. We are not short of things to laugh at. Therefore, whoever has health problem will suddenly get well after coming here. I just had a visiting VIP. He said as soon as he came here and saw me, he felt better. Understand? Whatever worries, whatever political issues, whatever struggles and arguments in the office, and whatever disagreements, all disappeared. Then he thanked me. I said I didn’t do anything. I said the air quality here was good and we laughed a lot, laughing all the time, and laughing at nothing. Right? Look, I am right. I said nothing but you are laughing already, and laughing so much. Look at her. She is so old and laughing so happily. Have you never laughed? It’s like this. You don’t need to eat, so you are also not hungry, and full of miracles. You can laugh without me saying anything. Do I look very beautiful? She looks at me and keeps laughing as if I am one with that big potato… (Clown.) Clown. (Clown.) Monkey? (In a circus.) Those with big mouths in a circus. (Yes, yes.) That. Yes. Our lipstick is painted inside, but his lipstick is painted outside, right? And his eyes are painted very dark, and a few black tears drop down. Is that right? Then he puts a potato on his nose. No. Is it potato or tomato? Yes. She looked at me as if she saw that type of person. She laughed so loudly. I didn’t perform anything. I also didn’t put much makeup on, and did not put a big mouth like that. Yet when they see me, they are so happily and start laughing. (Happy.) Ah? (Happy.) I don’t know if you are happy or not. Maybe I look very funny. (We are happy when we see Master.) I know it. If you don’t want me, I know where I am going. (We want You.) The circus. (We want You!) I am going to the circus. If you don’t want me, I will go there. (We want You.) Because I look very funny, if I go there I can definitely make money. Here your laughter is free. What a pity! Yes? I want to go making money. It’s right to go to the circus. Putting on that bigger mouth will be able to make money. (We won’t allow Master to go.) Don’t? I want to go. (We won’t allow Master to go.) You won’t allow me to go. What right do you have to stop me? I want to make money, but you won’t let me go. Do you think you are older than me, so you have the right? (We all love Master.) (It’s because we love Master.) Because of love, you don’t let me go to the circus to make money? (If Master is gone, we won’t be able to laugh anymore.) Won’t be able to laugh. Then you can see me at the circus and pay for tickets. I said to the VIP that because the air quality here is good, some villagers have lived… There are only 700 to 1,000 people in this village. Seven hundred. (Seven thousand.) Seven thousand? (There are 7,000 people in this township.) Seven thousand, not one thousand? (The township mayor said there are 7,000 in the whole township.) How many in the whole township? (Seven thousand people.) Seven thousand. Really? (Yes.) Seven thousand? Yeah? Really? Seven thousand, and not seven hundred? About 80 of them are over 80 years old. They are healthy and happy, and work every day. And some of them are 100 years old. Understand? One hundred years old and they still don’t want to go. They stay behind here in Hsihu, just like you. (Wish Master healthy forever.) Thank you. It’s because of good air quality and a small population. You can see that this city doesn’t have many people, but lots of trees and many bamboos. Bamboos provide more oxygen than ordinary trees. There are so many bamboos here. From here to the back mountain where the nuns live, it’s full of bamboos. If you run around on this mountain or the next one, there are a lot of bamboos, self-grown. So air quality is very good, because there are not many people. And here we don’t have many cars running around. That’s why you feel elated. And then you think I have magic power. I haven’t done anything. Understand? When I come back, I also feel very comfortable. The government here is good, and they welcome me very much. (It’s because Master is good.) I am good. Thank you. People are all very kind. (Master has changed this place.) No. Maybe some people love to show off their muscles, right? So on TV, sometimes they show off a lot. Otherwise, they are very kind in the heart. Whoever they are, Taiwanese (Formosans) are all very kind, extremely kind, and sometimes too kind. It’s good like this. A country like this, of course, will be peaceful. Whoever becomes politician will have success for whatever he does, because people are so good. If the atmosphere is good, of course the country will be good. People is good, and the country will be good. Even if some are not good, it’s a small matter. Most of them are very happy and smiling all the time. Do you see? Coming here, at least we see people laughing. They have to. Or, we call him a miserable Buddha. He is afraid of being called that name, so he also reluctantly laughs. I see that some people don’t want to laugh. But after a while they will be infected by the infectious laughing atmosphere and start to laugh reluctantly. OK. Do the mainland Chinese have any question? You are from so far away. Speak. (I am from Luoyang. Do You know the place?) Luoyang? (Yes, Henan.) Wow! So far. (Not far.) How many days? (Just two days.) Two days is not far? Wow! It’s very far for me. (I am asking a question on behalf of someone. He asked me, “When you go there, please ask the Buddha for me.” I said, “OK.” He served in the army. This time...) Injury? (After retired from the military, he got injured. He got injured and retired from the military. He then joined a mining company but got injured. Because of the injury, he could only read Master’s books. Other people told him that he could just practice the Convenient Method and recite Master’s name. He said, “Otherwise I can do it.”) To heal his disease, right? (But he only has this hand.) Go to the hospital quickly. (No. He is recovered.) Recovered. (After recovery, it’s amputated. So there is only half a hand.) What’s the question? (He said he wanted to get initiation. He said if Master gives permission, he will get a visa to come here to receive initiation from Master.) He wants to come? (To receive initiation.) Sure, why not? Only he has problem with his hand. But his brain has no problem. (His brain is fine and this hand is also good.) The hand is not a problem. Just a little injury, right? (This hand is half and the other one is good.) Not both hands are injured? (No.) Yes, only one. If he can get on the airplane and carry luggage, I have no objection. (OK. OK.) I am just afraid he might suffer. It’s not that he can’t do it. Understand? (His wife is our initiate.) (An initiate. She’s also an initiate.) Of course. Except for initiates, only those with mental issues will come. No one wants to come to see me, except you. (So I will…) OK. OK. (That’s my question. Thank You, Buddha.) OK. No problem. (Thank You, Master.) It’s the best for him to wait until he gets better to come. (He is in good health.) OK. That’s fine. Hand injury is difficult and causes inconvenience. (No. He is recovered. He has been healed for many years.) OK. (He wants to enter the door to practice.) OK. (Thank You, Master.) OK. It’s not that he will be good once coming here. It’s not like that. I haven’t promised anything. (What I mean is he has only half of the hand. Half of the hand.) OK. Then what? (He wants to receive initiation.) Oh! He wants to receive initiation. You made it sound like he is an initiate. Didn’t you say he is an initiate? (His wife is an initiate.) (The wife of this handicapped person.) OK. Understand, understand. I see, I see, I see. I see, I see, I see. (His wife is an initiate, and she wanted me to ask this question for him.) Oh. His wife is an initiate. He is the husband. (Yes.) How old is he? (About over 50.) Ah? Over 50. Can’t he practice the Convenient Method? (He means to enter the door.) (He wants to come in and receive initiation.) Of course, I know. Who doesn’t want to? (He wants to enter the door.) (I mean he wanted me to ask the Buddha on his behalf. If the Buddha agrees, he will get the visa and come here.) (He will go through the process.) (Is that right? Has he been vegan?) (He has been vegan all the time. His wife is vegan, and so is he.) Why did he wait until now when he has no hand to come? Why didn’t he come when he had the hand before? (I don’t know. I am just asking for him.) His wife was initiated before. Why didn’t he follow her to get initiation? Why wait until now to trouble me? Ask him to practice the Convenient Method first. OK? (OK.) Being vegan and practicing the Convenient Method is good enough. There are not so many rules. Just practicing the Convenient Method and eat vegan food for 10 or 15 days. Do as much as he can, At least 10 days to purify himself. (OK. OK.) Then no need to have rules or requirements. (OK. Thank You, Buddha. Thank You, Master.) And, his wife is a practitioner, so she will pull him along. (Thank You, Master.) The Convenient Method is enough. (OK.) Yeah. (Hi, Master!) Hi! (My son was playing in the game room, and within a few minutes, he lost 50,000 to 60,000 RMB. Then I was very upset. This kid is normally very rebellious and doesn’t listen to us. I can’t control him. But I still come here. What should I do in the future? How should I educate this kid?) I don’t understand what you want. What do you want me to do? Wait. (I wish my kid to become righteous and sunny.) Well-behaved. (Yes, a well-behaved child.) It depends on how you teach him. I’m… (I don’t know how. I want to ask Master for Your merciful teaching.) What kind of a child is he? Why do you want him to change? How old is he? (Twenty-two.) Does he have a job? (He doesn’t work. Every day after eating, he will lay in bed to play games and phone. He has no job.) How does one make money without a job in mainland China? (He asks money from me.) There will be no problem if you don’t give to him. (If I don’t give, he will get mad.) Oh! Are you afraid of him? (Yes.) Oh. To such a degree. Then what does your husband say? (My husband is here.) OK. You both lost to him. And you ask me, an old grandma with so many children to control your child. Is that not so fair? (Master has wisdom.) Wisdom? If I can force others, I would have turned the whole world to Heaven a long time ago. Understand? Even if I had the magic power to control other people’s brain, I wouldn’t use it. It’s useless like that. It’s like giving people poison or making them drunk, and not giving them freedom. Did he work before? (Yes.) OK. Ask him to keep looking for a job. Give him less money. Talk to him. How many children do you have? Only one, right? (One.) Of course. It sounds familiar. One child and it’s a boy. Oh, how precious! Being spoiled rotten makes it like this, and since the beginning. So it’s right that the government has changed. Two children are allowed. Yes? (Yes.)

Whatever We Want, We Will Have It, Part 6 of 12

So when you have a child, just loving him is not enough. You should also lecture him and educate him, and have him grow up to be a good person. Otherwise, if something happens to you and you pass away, or your family property gets destroyed, how can he survive? He might die. As the only child he may be spoiled rotten. Understand? All the energy, love, money and time are poured onto him. So, after the kid is grown up, he has spoiled habits. Once going out to work and scolded by the boss, he will simply run home and not want to work. He has not been scolded at home. Without scolding and able to get money without working, why should he go to work and be scolded by the boss and judged by colleagues? Understand? Of course he doesn’t work. I wouldn’t either, If I were your kid, I wouldn’t go to work too. I could even get free money and have a house to live, food to eat, and a mom to take care of laundry. I tell you. I can’t take care of your kid. Leave me alone. Peace. I’ve encountered a few like this before as assistants by my side, or as renunciates. If it’s not the only son, then the problem is we Chinese favor boys more than girls. Of course we want him to become the king. Right? He has become a king since birth. Therefore, it’s too late now. Take your time to change. OK? He is too old now to change, I am afraid. But you can slowly talk to him, and say, “We only have you, and are dependent on you. You have to be a better person, make us be proud of you, and make our neighbors, or relatives and friends be proud of you a little bit. We can only rely on you. Please try. Please sacrifice your ego a little bit and make your mom and dad happy. I know you will. You are grown up so strong and handsome. When you go out, and people see that you have no job, and girls see that you have no job, if they ask you, what would you say?” Tell him, “As a man you need status to get respected. We don’t need your money, nor do we need you to work diligently. We only need you to have the self-respect of a boy, to make others proud, to make the neighbors respect us. Otherwise, we will have no face to see others.” You try to talk to him more touchingly. “Once you meet with someone you love and you say you have no job, how would she look up to you? You know there are a lot of people in China, and it’s very competitive to find a job. So you have to be patient and have to sacrifice yourself a little bit. All the negative energy or obstacles at the workplace can be treated as tests to make you stronger and able to overcome them. Because you are grown up, you can make your parents proud.” Something like that. (OK. Thank You, Master.) You are welcome. Otherwise, I can’t take care of it. I have had a few like this before. Wow! Are you very rich? (No. Just average.) Just average? That’s good. If you are richer, I really can't do anything. Therefore, we should train children since childhood. Don’t give them everything they ask for. Understand? It’s not good. I treat my dogs also this way. The (vegan) treats for chewing, every dog is fond of them. He can eat a whole bag and still is not happy enough. After he finishes eating it, he comes back again as if he hasn’t had it. But I can’t give all to him. I know he wants them all. But I can’t give. Or it becomes a bad habit. Then he will only eat that, instead of the real dog food. It’s bad for his health. I can only give him those once or twice a day. If twice, half of the amount each time. If once, then the whole thing, depending on his size. Giving too much of that is not good for health. It’s not just about nutrition. Understand? It has its ingredients, but not to replace the regular meal. I love my dogs the best. Except you, I love my dogs the best. (We are the big brothers.) They are the second. You are the kings and they are the lords. They are the lords. Understand? Therefore, I don’t give that to them, not because I don’t love them. If I keep spoiling them, later when I am not around, they would keep bothering the assistants for those, and would get angry if they don’t give. Then they would not eat the cooked meal. It’s not good for them. Before, when I was at a place in another country that I won’t give much details, there was an initiate who was originally a nun. Later she left me, and had a boyfriend outside. That was not an issue. But she couldn’t return to the resident order. When I heard about it, I said, “Fine. Give her another chance. No problem. Ask her to come.” That place didn’t belong to me. It was a small apartment I rented, and was expensive. A bigger place would have been more expensive, and I was reluctant to spend that much on a temporary place for six months only. So she wanted to come. Someone told me that she wanted to come. Then I said, “Fine. Give her a chance.” My house was small. Everyone squeezed together. And I lived there also, together with the dogs and three more people. Her parents were very rich, wow, really rich. Not ordinary rich, but very rich, and very famous in that country. Therefore, she was used to having servants at home. And when she came to my place, after a few days, she started to direct the other two assistants. I was very familiar with the two assistants. They had followed me for a long time, had taken care of the dogs for a long time, and knew what I told them to do. But after she came, she immediately taught them differently. Originally, they should take the whole group out, at least two or three together, and not leave one alone in the house. Of course he cried, as he was not used to it. Why should it be like that, to leave him there by himself? And there were enough people. For three people and six dogs, each would take care of two. Why would I leave him there? She asked them to leave that one behind, and he cried so hard. I came out and asked, “Why?” She said, “I told them to take those out and leave this one behind. He will be taken out later.” I said, “Why? We never did that before. They were always out together. Why did you tell them like that? And, you just came here and have no idea how to take care of them.” She said, “It’s better this way.” I said, “It’s not better. Do you think he looks better? He is crying there. You quickly bring him out to be with the others. You have nothing to do here. So you bring him out.” That dog was the kindest. And he would not cause problems. Whoever took him, he would go. She refused and kept standing there to stare at me. I just washed my hands with soap, and the soap was in a type of plastic bottle and was squeezed out. I just washed my hands so my hands were full of soap. I saw the dog crying and couldn’t bear it. But I couldn’t pat her, because of the soap on my hands. So I used that plastic bottle, and said, “Bring him out! Bring him out!” She wouldn’t do it, and made loud noise over there, “Oh! Oh! Oh!” as if I was killing her. Oh! I was so scared. I said, “You are fine!” I hit myself with it, and it didn’t hurt at all. It was just a plastic bottle for soap. Nothing. She was spoiled at home and was used to directing servants. So when I told her things, she didn’t want to listen. Understand? I didn’t do anything to her. “Oh, I don’t want to stay here. I want to go home!” I said, “Oh, really? Fine. Then go home immediately, in five minutes. Go!” She thought I would beg her like her parents. Impossible! Even if I needed people, I would not beg. I wouldn’t continue to support that spoiling system. Of course I needed people there. With many dogs and limited manpower, I had to run around. But forget about it, no need. I said, “Go home immediately. Go pack now.” Then she stood there and didn’t go pack. I said, “You said you wanted to go. Do it now. Go, go, go!” She was so spoiled like that, because her family was so rich and very famous. They were famed because of wealth; they had money and fame. Therefore, she wasn’t used to it, wasn’t used to that kind of life, and a house that was so crowded. Her house was luxurious. She had her own car and a chauffeur. Or she could drive herself. I don’t need it. I can go with a driver, or go without one. I can eat good food if there is. If not, I will eat sesame powder and brown rice or other rice, or eat whatever is available. So we definitely shouldn’t spoil our children. OK? We should take good care of a child from birth. Otherwise, when he grows up, no one will like him. Then to the contrary you have hurt him. Understand? When he goes out to work and has no patience, the boss will be annoyed. The coworkers. (Colleagues.) Colleagues. The people in the company will be annoyed by him. Then if he gets married and has a family with a wife or husband, there is no way they can get along with each other. Have you seen those singers and movie stars? Most of them don’t live good lives, and can’t get along with others. When they get married with a wife or a husband, it’s also marrying today and divorcing tomorrow. They can’t get used to it. So when you have a child, just loving him is not enough. You should also lecture him and educate him, and have him grow up to be a good person. Otherwise, if something happens to you and you pass away, or your family property gets destroyed, how can he survive? He might die. When they came here to be residents, I always told them to learn driving, wiring, receiving phone calls, and different languages. Whoever wanted would learn. Before, there were teachers coming here to teach. Of course, not everyone could speak fluent English, but it’s not that I didn’t ask them to come and teach. It’s just some of them were too old to learn, or didn’t have the talent for language. Some had. Since they didn’t use it much, they would forget. It happened. They were also taught to cook. Even boys needed to cook too. Or without girls, they might die. Most parents don’t ask their boys to cook or do laundry, and don’t ask them to clean the house, to take care of the surroundings and personal hygiene. Understand? This is not right. They should learn the same. For the parents of most families the mother would teach the girls how to cook and how to clean the house. If a boy is asked but doesn’t do it, it’s not a problem, because he is a boy and doesn’t need to do the girl’s job. What about a boy or a girl? “The girl’s job.” The house should be kept clean regardless if it’s occupied by a girl or a boy. So, I am telling you. Sometimes I need to use boys, but they are so stinky. I am not talking about you. I am not. I mean to say my boys. OK? Strange. Why is it like that? Sometimes I said, “Hurry to take a shower and come back,” even in a rush. And sometimes the driver forgot to brush his teeth. Then I asked him to go brush his teeth. And he would do it. But when he returned, he was still stinky. I asked him why. He said, “No toothpaste.” Because when I told him to brush his teeth, I didn’t say to brush with toothpaste. True story! That person is still vividly alive! Oh, my God! In the early morning, do you want to smell like that? Even ourselves, when we get up in the morning, we don’t want to smell our own breath, not to mention from others. If you sit in a big car and there is a boy, you can bear it. If there are two, you have to recite the Buddha’s name. If there are three boys or four girls, you would die. You wouldn’t survive. They love their own smell and are reluctant to part with it. So sometimes you should take care of yourself. Both boys and girls are the same. When you have a boyfriend or a girlfriend, it’s not after dating for a while it becomes safe so you don’t care about it. It’s not. You should still take care of yourself. Sometimes, the breakup of a couple or with a boyfriend or a girlfriend is not because of big matters. It’s not because he is jealous of you, or you are not good-looking, or he doesn’t like you. It’s because sometimes your smell is too strong and unbearable. What are you laughing at? Am I not right? (You are right.) My God! Wonderful! I can become a marriage expert to make money, adding another job for me. Yes, you should take care of yourself. But, it’s fine if you have no boyfriend or girlfriend, just like me. Then you don’t need to take care of yourself so much. You still need to. What I mean is there is no urgency. Understand? OK. Forget about it. Don’t talk anymore. You know it. Yes. Don’t think about why your boyfriend is so bad, no matter if you have money. And then think, “I have everything. I am good looking and have money. Why do my boyfriends keep running away?” Shakyamuni Buddha taught that monks should not eat garlic and onion, because it’s too stinky and the Dharma guards would run away. They thought the invisible guards would run away. Actually, the visible Dharma guards would run away too, including the Buddha. Sometimes I want to run away as well. This place is nice because we didn’t build a house. Air circulation with the surrounding is good. Otherwise… Why are you laughing? Before, in SMC or other places with houses, sometimes I really couldn’t bear. But I was too embarrassed to speak out. Yes, I did complain a couple of times. But usually I didn’t say anything. It’s embarrassing. OK. You can ask questions again. It’s the fault of you two, the fault of your son causing me to talk for so long. Nobody is happy. (Happy.) Happy? OK. Speak. (Hi, Master!) Hi. (Thank You for Your unconditional love and mercy to save the Earth and to uplift humanity. Not only humans, but grasses and trees have also been uplifted.) How do you know? (I can feel it.) You can feel it? (I have felt that every second Master’s love is with us.) (I do have a personal question. It’s about my lower back. Whenever I am in deep meditation, my lower back hurts very much like being tightly bound by a belt. That’s my question.) What about your lower back? Why? (It feels like being tied by a belt.) (Her lower back feels like being tied by a belt.) Like being tied by a belt. (Yes. It can’t be stretched out, and it affects my meditation.) (Her lower back can’t be stretched out. When she meditates, she’s like this.) (It’s stiffened and can’t be stretched.) Oh. (It’s been over 20 years, really uncomfortable. I originally...) Did this happen before? Or it only happens now? (Not before.) Since when did it start? (Initiation. About two or three months. Before initiation, I was a nun. Before initiation, I also meditated and I practiced Taoism. My meditation was pretty good. Three months after the initiation, during meditation, I felt a force pushed me from behind.) OK. (It’s very uncomfortable now.) Understand. (Very uncomfortable. This part is very tight.) Understand. (I have been here a few times. I wanted to ask but didn’t. I felt shy and didn’t want to bother Master. Today I couldn’t bear it, so I asked.) No problem. (Master’s compassion.) When you go home, before meditation. OK? (OK.) What kind of meditation did you practice before? Breathing? (No, not breathing.) How did you meditate? (I usually just meditate like this. I don’t pay attention to breathing.) Not now. I mean in the past. Before following me, how did you meditate? What method did you practice? (Before I became a nun, I practiced the Taoist meditation. I just practiced that. I didn’t practice breathing, didn’t do that.) I don’t understand. (She said she didn’t focus on anything. She sat casually.) Casually sat, (and recited the sutras and mantras. Casually sat.) That’s not right. OK. You didn’t meditate correctly. It was the wrong way. (Oh.) The lower-level gods helped you. It’s not that they didn’t. Understand? Of course when you meditated, those different gods at different levels would help you. Now that you want to go higher, they try to control you. (My God!) They don’t want to lose you. Before you meditate, tell them that you are now learning from the Supreme Master Ching Hai. Thank them for their previous help, support and protection. But now you have probably graduated and want to go up. Ask them not to block you. And recite my name. OK? (OK.) Ask them to leave. (OK. Thank You, Master, thank You.) It will be effective immediately. (OK. Thank You, Master.) Meditation can’t be done casually like this. A few people have different problems. (That was in the past.) I know, I know. For you, just do like this, then you will be OK. (Hi, Master.) Hi. (I have been initiated for 18 years.) Remember to thank them. OK? Don’t scold them, but thank them. Be sincerely grateful. (I used to scold them. I won’t do it anymore.)

Whatever We Want, We Will Have It, Part 7 of 12

The Light and the Sound are our true Self, our Divine Nature. (OK.) The more we see it, the more we see our Divine Nature. (OK.) Then we will know that we come from the Light. (OK.) We are created by the celestial Sound. Understand? (OK. Understand.) Then our soul will be at peace and will know itself. (At the time of initiation, I heard some [inner Heavenly] Sound, like the flute, phone ringing and others. The Sound of flute or bird. I didn’t see the [inner Heavenly] Light. The Sound was pretty good. Until 2008, I had many experiences during meditation. At that time,) You told someone. (the Sound disappeared. There was no Sound, no Sound at all. At the time, my head was OK when I did the Sound meditation, but the spot about three to four cm below my wisdom eye hurt. It was painful constantly. I did much Sound meditation, yet it was very painful. It was difficult for me to work.) Strange. Why was it like this? (At the time, for about a month I couldn’t sleep at night. I didn’t sleep during the day and couldn’t sleep during the night. I just fainted …) And now? Is it better? (I’ve been here for a few days now. Master has given me a little Sound. I am very scared. I read Your teachings often. In all the teachings Master said it’s fine to be without the Light, but not without the Sound. I am still afraid. I’ve been here for a few days. There is a little Sound from here, not from the above.) That’s correct. (All from here, not from the above.) Correct. It’s correct. (I asked my two sons and one daughter, who are initiates. I asked them and they said it’s from the above. So I am very afraid.) Why are you afraid if it’s from the above? It’s correct from the above. (I am afraid I’d hear no Sound. In the few days I’ve been here,) You said… (there has been only a little Sound, faint like before. But there was no Sound. During Sound meditation, sometimes I feel very comfortable, yet have no Sound.) Maybe you didn’t… (No Sound for many, many years.) What kind of Sound? What do you hear inside? Maybe a different kind of Sound. (A different Sound now at the ashram. These few days I have been hearing a buzzing Sound.) Is this not a Sound? It’s just a noise, right? (These few days after seeing Master, I always have it.) That’s good then. Why are you asking? Meditate more. Concentrate more. OK? (OK.) Before the Sound meditation, recite the Five Holy Names for 20 minutes. (When I see the Light, it’s dark, all dark.) It’s dark, but does the darkness move? (It’s dark. Some black or dark blue.) Does that black stuff move? (Yes, it does.) OK. Continue to meditate. (OK.) Try to break through it and then go up. (OK.) (I used to spank my son because he often went out to catch turtles. When people told me about it, I spank him. Then I couldn’t hear any Sound for four months, until it appeared again. Until 2008, the Sound was all gone. But the Sound meditation was very good, just no Sound.) OK. Continue to practice. OK? (OK. Thank You, Master.) Now that you’ve come, it’s good you have it here. (Thank You, Master.) You are welcome. (Thank You, Master for Your Blessing.) Don’t spank your kid anymore. If you do, you won’t even have a little. Don’t spank him. Just talk to him and reason with him. OK? Who? Here. Speak. (Hallo, Master.) Hallo. (There are five siblings in my family. One of my brothers came to Xiamen and opened a meat restaurant. I have been talking to him and my sister-in-law. Is there any other way to stop him so that he will not kill sentient beings?) All beings are like that. You have no way to stop them. Do it slowly. OK? Many people are already vegan now. (But he is not short of money. Why is he still doing it?) Don’t ask me. (Sometimes when he visits my family, I treated him to vegan food, but he didn’t want it either. My other two brothers and sister are fine. It’s just him. What can I do?) Ignore him. (I have given books to him and my sister-in-law to read. I have done a lot.) I know. Some people… (I have done a lot.) When some people don’t listen, ignore them. Shakyamuni Buddha had a cousin who was always wanting to harm Him. Even after He attained Buddhahood, the cousin kept following Him, wanting to harm Him. If an attempt failed, he would try another way. Some people who practiced magical power also wanted to harm the Buddha, right? Jesus Christ didn’t do anything bad. He taught people to do good deeds, but He was crucified. Not to mention us. (Would I as a blood relation... Would it…) Don’t blame yourself. Don’t blame yourself. (OK.) Each person is different. Don’t blame yourself because he is bad. That’s not right. You can’t blame yourself. OK? (Thank You.) No blame. You can’t blame yourself. His time has not come yet. So why do you force him? It breaks your heart. Ignore him. (Thank You.) Not every child we give birth to is our son. Sometimes he just borrows our body to come out. He does not necessarily have good affinities with us. (Hallo, Master.) Speak. (I want to ask You about this. When I was reading Your book, and the teaching said if we have vision, we might develop ego. So after initiation, I was afraid of seeing the Light or anything. Since then, I haven’t seen any Light,) Oh, thanks! (but I have the Sound.) What do you want me to do? (I have been praying...) Praying for what? (Praying to Master…) You are taught to get enlightened, but you don’t want to see it. What do you want me to do? Aiya! The Light is not scary. It’s black that’s scary. How can you be afraid of the Light? Even our physical bodies need the light to see things and do things. But you are afraid of the Light. I can’t do anything about it. I am also afraid of you. You are so scared that even the Light runs away. Don’t be scared anymore. OK? (Don’t be scared. OK.) Sit and relax. (OK.) Relax. (OK. Thank You, Master.) Without the Light we will die. (OK.) It’s truly like that. (OK. Thank You, Master.) The Light and the Sound are our true Self, our Divine Nature. (OK.) The more we see it, the more we see our Divine Nature. (OK.) Then we will know that we come from the Light. (OK.) We are created by the celestial Sound. Understand? (OK. Understand.) Then our soul will be at peace and will know itself. (Thank You.) If you are scared… You are not scared of this world, yet you are scared of the Buddha Light? Aiya! It’s really incredible. Incredible. How come it’s like this? (I just…) Read my teachings more often. (For many years I’ve wanted to come to Taiwan (Formosa) and ask the residents. But I have kept it in my mind and dared not ask. I dared not ask.) Of course, you are scared of everything. (Yes.) You are scared of me, scared of the residents, and scared of the Light. So why have you come? I am also asking myself. OK. You are not afraid of the things you should be afraid of. You should be afraid of your own karma. (Yes. Thank You.) All of us here are benevolent. We smile and don’t do anything bad. Do we? (No.) Right. Those monks haven’t done anything to you. Why are you scared? I haven’t done anything either. I have no time to do anything. Too busy. Come. Next one. Here. Read more books and read more of my teachings. If you don’t want to read, then read that... Wait a minute. (OK.) You should read the Tibetan Bardo Thodol scripture written for the dead. The scripture tells the deceased souls: “When you see bright Light, don’t be afraid. You continuously follow the brightest Light. Even if you don’t feel comfortable, you still follow it. The lights that are darker and not as bright look very comfortable, but you shouldn’t follow them.” (OK.) Because they are of lower levels. (Sometimes when I feel scared, I feel cold at the back.) Of course, if you are afraid of the Light, then maya comes to you. Yes? Yes. (Hi, Master. It’s really not easy for me to see You. It’s very difficult for us to come from that place to here.) I understand. (Now I have a question to ask You.) Speak. (I have joined this group for 19 years, but I haven’t progressed much in my practice.) No progress? (What’s the reason? I used to be a nun in a small temple.) You used to be a nun. Understand. (I was a nun and stayed there for six years.) A nun for six years. (After six years, I heard about You and read Your book, but not much. I felt You were the Supreme Holy Mother. I was very happy to have found You. Before I even finished that book,) We have affinity. (I received initiation.) Initiated. (I was screened and received initiation. From screening to initiation took only 10 days. I still do not understand some of the teachings because I had always been in that temple.) I see. (After initiation, I had spiritual experience.) I see. (I had experience. After more than a month, I started to have very good experience, and loved You very much. However, later at the age of 50, I had hot flashes, hot all the time, very hot. The master of the small temple asked me, “What method are you practicing?” I said, “She is a great Master, and the Supreme Holy Mother you are looking for.” I told him so when I saw him. He said, “It can’t be.” I replied, “Yes, She is.” So when I wasn’t paying attention, he twice imposed his blessing on me.) Ah! (He trapped me. I feel I haven’t made much progress. It’s been many years. I do not think it’s easy to see the Buddha, so I want to tell You everything. I have the Sound until now, like the sound of the big bell.) Experience? Less Sound? (Sound is there. But no Light at all.) Oh. No Light, but there is Sound. OK. (A small flash of Light. And the more I focus, the less I see.) Occasionally a little bit. Right? (The more I focus, the less I see. The more I look at it, the less…) Then what’s in the front? (Just darkness in the front. Dark, all dark.) What’s that? (It’s dark.) Dark. (Dark.) Thank you for that… (That’s the situation.) That monk. (It has been like this for many years.) Who? That monk? Is he also a monk? (I was a nun before.) No. The other one who blessed. (He is a monk.) (Oh. He is a monk.) (He’s always been… He’s never been married and is 70 years old now.) Who is the person who blessed you? (The monk.) (That master, the monk.) The master. (He likes spells and petitions, and likes to harm others. He likes to accuse others.) To accuse others? (To file charges in hell.) (To file cases in hell against others.) To accuse others? (He uses spells and petitions and files cases in hell. He is strongly against me. He said I…) (Petitions can be burned.) (Spells.) Oh! (Petitions. He harms people.) That’s not a monk. (He is a monk. Since young, he has been single and practicing. He is just...) What single? (A single spiritual practitioner.) (Single and practicing.) Understand. (He also works on delivering all beings.) OK. Stop talking about him. (He taught us to practice.) (Don’t talk about him anymore.) (I have made no progress.) How can a monk burn spells and curse others? We… (He doesn’t want anyone to go higher than him.) Ah! That’s not right. (He is not right like that.) No wonder! (I haven’t had...) Then what do you want me to do? (As I said I haven’t progressed. How to… Is it possible here...) Ah? (How to help me progress?) (He tapped her head twice.) (He hit…) He hit you twice. (He hit my head twice as blessing.) Understand. (Just like that.) No wonder! (I have made no progress. It’s like this.) OK. No wonder. (This is her mother, and this is her sister.) Both the mother and sister have no problem. It’s just her. (I…) Don’t go to that temple to be hit twice by him. (That’s the issue.) OK. Understand. OK. Forget about it. It’s your bad luck. (That’s the problem.) Then if there is another initiation, you attend again. OK? (I am not sure if I can make it. We are leaving on the 20th.) (Leaving on December 20.) (She is afraid that she has to go and can’t make it.) (I am leaving on the 20th.) OK. Then you pay attention and come over When there is an initiation. (OK.) Or the whole family together recite the Five Holy Names to help her. You tell the maya or whatever inside to leave. OK? (Thank You.) Otherwise, I will beat him. I will beat him up. Tell him to leave. (OK. Thank You, Master.) It will get better, OK? If the darkness moves around, then it’s OK. If it doesn’t move… (It’s a whole…) Aiya! You used to have vision, but suddenly lost it? Aiya! What a pity! It’s like this. Let me tell you honestly. The Buddha didn’t teach anyone to burn spells, recite spells, or accuse anyone in Heaven. The Buddha didn’t teach these things. None of the Buddhist sutras I’ve read has such a sentence. Understand? Buddhists are peaceful. When people harm you, you won’t fight back. (You don’t strike back even if they hit you.) Right. Are you still in that temple? (Not anymore.) It’s good that you are not there anymore. Just ignore him. Tell the person obstructing you from inside, “Leave immediately.” It’s good that you have the Sound. Concentrate more. Sometimes it’s harder to concentrate as you get older. Meditate with others, with the family. Help her. OK? Ah! I have no problems, but she finds problems for me. Do you see? Well, we… I teach you very well, but you go outside and get in trouble. You are not the only one. Some people are also like this.

Whatever We Want, We Will Have It, Part 8 of 12

Buddhists are most annoyed of and are forbidden to practice magic power or spells. It was forbidden by the Buddha. From the beginning until His passing away, the Buddha never permitted anyone to do it. For example, of course I can’t openly do lectures in mainland China, not at the present time. If I go there I can’t talk too much. So I don’t go. Then some people will voluntarily say, “Oh, Master doesn’t come. I will be a master myself.” Then he starts to touch everybody, and make their light become dark. I tell you that some people are like that. Understand? They don’t know what real spiritual practice is. A monk like that one is an unacceptable type of monk. If Buddha was alive, He would have expelled him or fixed him. No monk should do that. Understand? That belongs to those with black magic or the witches. These types of people would curse others. Who else would do it? No Buddhist monks would do that. Have you ever seen any monk who chants spells and curses others all the time? No. They have morning chanting and evening chanting. (He accuses others in hell.) Accusing others is not a monk’s business. We Buddhist monks don’t accuse anyone. I’ve never heard any Buddhist monk that would sue others, accuse others in Heaven, or accuse outside people. This is because he doesn’t practice well and goes astray. He is not a Buddhist monk. It’s better not to talk about him and ruin the reputation of the Buddhist monks. (A small temple.) No matter it’s small or big, Buddhist monks have never done these things. Have you ever heard that any Buddhist monk burns spells, sues others, accuses others in Heaven, or accuses other people? Yes? (No.) No. They just save people, love people, and forgive them. Never has anyone been like this. No Buddhist will. OK? Buddhists are most annoyed of and are forbidden to practice magic power or spells. It was forbidden by the Buddha. From the beginning until His passing away, the Buddha never permitted anyone to do it. This is a misguidance. It’s not right. Yes. He didn’t practice correctly. He was not guided by an enlightened Master. Understand? He didn’t study the scriptures well, didn’t understand the scriptures if he read them. And he uses his monk status to harm others. It’s wrong. If you see him again, tell him that I said he is not right, and ask him to improve. Otherwise, don’t claim himself to be a Buddhist monk. He has ruined the Buddhist order. Some people are like that. I also had an assistant before. I am telling you. His/her inner quality was not so good. And he/she couldn’t even turn on the light. Whenever he/she touched the light, it went dark. I asked him/her to turn on the light, but he/she couldn’t do it. And it was I, the old lady, to run out to turn it on. He/she said, “Master, the light is broken.” I said, “What’s broken? You are broken, not the light.” I had to turn on the light myself. Understand? Whatever he/she touched would go bad. His/her inside didn’t practice well. I am not saying that person is the only one like that. But a monk, a Buddhist monk, even the worst monk wouldn’t do these things. (I told him at that time you could go, but don’t bring my head with you.) Yes. That’s why at the time of initiation, you were instructed to avoid allowing others to touch your head. Yes? Avoid if you can. OK? If he touches, recite the Five Holy Names to protect yourself. Yes, there was no way, because you were there and couldn’t run away. I also can’t help you anything. OK? Sorry. Slowly it will get dissolved. Yes. The two from far away, the one in red, and the other in brown. (Hi, Master!) Speak. (So...) Later you just hold it. (Actually, we the mainland Chinese initiates have a wish that our group can become official in mainland. We have some thoughts and want to hear Your opinion.) Go submit your application. If the government is OK, I am OK. (Yes.) I can’t control your government. (Yes, yes. We just want to ask You. The government is slowly more and more enlightened now. Therefore, we…) Just apply for it. (We are wondering if a few of us can apply to the government to see if it can be official. For example...) OK. (Can we do it?) Try it. (OK. Thank You, Master. Thank You.) You are welcome. Give it a try. (Hi, Master.) Hi. (On October 4th, we performed a chorus. Because at the time it was urgent, we didn’t rehearse enough, just a few times. When we finished, we thought there would be a screening in the morning, but we performed directly. After the performance, in the afternoon and evening during meditation, I saw Master’s transcendental body on the stage conducting us and allowing us to sing smoothly.) Thank you. (The song is called “Follow You Forever.” It was a chorus.) OK. Thank you. (Thank You.) Thank you for letting me work. It’s an honor to sing with you. (Yes.) It’s always like this. If you didn’t do well, you blame Master; if you did well, you thank Master. But I didn’t do anything. (We can’t blame Master.) Don’t blame me? Good. (Thank You, Master.) You are welcome. The boy behind. (Master. Hi, Master.) Hi. (I have two questions regarding young initiates.) OK. (My baby received half initiation from Master on the 3rd.) OK. (I feel that he has better experience than I do. I am worried.) No need to worry. It’s just embarrassing. (I worry if I will affect his uplifting.) Affecting him? No, you won’t. (The other question is that if a young initiate meditates longer than half an hour will it be a problem?) No. It’s OK. (And then, we adults have full initiation. We have Five Holy Names to test the inner realms. If he sees realms, how can he choose? Is there another way to test?) No problem. He has the Master. (He has the Master.) The Master will protect him. (For example, one time before he was initiated, when I was meditating, he saw a crystal ball jumping on my hand. But I didn’t know if the crystal ball was good or bad. It didn’t disappear when I recited the Five Holy Names. At last, it was still jumping on my hand. The crystal ball told him that it was because it couldn’t stand in balance. Then I felt I wasn’t sure if it’s good or bad.) It can’t be bad. (It can’t bad, right?) Yeah. (Eventually I chased it away. Because…) It was OK. You are all like that. Instead of being afraid of the maya, you are afraid of the Buddha. (No. It’s because it brought many other beings that had crystal light. At that time I wasn’t sure. It’s something that my child told me. I didn’t know how to test it.) Recite the Five Holy Names. (I have another question. It’s about his schooling. He is six and a half years old. According to the normal education system, he will need to go to elementary school at the age of seven. But for now I don’t plan to send him to the traditional school, because he follows an education software to learn Chinese words. Now he can read about half of the daily Chinese words. So I don’t want to… I wish Master can lecture us in this area.) What do you want me to do? Go to school for you? (If he doesn’t go to the traditional school and is studying well at home, can he choose and continue on this path?) If you want, you go. Whoever wants to go to a school, just go, if the situation allows. Going to a school is not a problem, why not? (It’s because he is learning well and progressing quickly by himself. At this pace, he can finish learning all the Chinese words taught in elementary school within one or two years.) (Study by himself at home.) Why doesn’t he want to go to school? (Instead of going to school, he can study at home.) At home by himself? (Yes.) (He said that he is studying by himself at home now and is doing well. Should he continue learning by himself, or should he go to school?) To study at home or to go to the public school? (Yes.) It’s better to go outside, with professional teachers. If you study by yourself at home, is it OK? Then how could you take exam? (He is doing like this. I downloaded some education software from the web. And he has followed the software to study and is learning very fast.) OK. If his parents are OK, and he can take exams, it’s fine. (He likes to study this way himself. Now I am looking after him alone, so his family is definitely fine with it.) OK. Why do you ask me? (I want Master to confirm if this concept is correct or not.) Some people learn a lot at home. (Yes.) The main point is if you need to take exams and need to get a certificate. If you can take exams, it’s OK. Understand? (Yes.) If studying at home can also let him take exams and get a certificate, it’s OK. Otherwise, it’s a waste of time. Then you can’t go outside and prove who you are. Understand? (Yes, yes.) So, staying home is OK. It mainly depends on what you want. If you just want the knowledge, a little knowledge, and don’t need a graduation certificate, studying anywhere is OK, at home or to go to school. If you want to graduate, or he wants to graduate and have a certificate in order to find a job, or continue to take exams for higher education, depending on if you are capable. OK? (OK. Thank You, Master.) Some people prefer to study at home. It’s also valid. Some parents don’t want their children to go out, and are afraid that they learn bad things at school outside or being contaminated. It happens. So they teach their children at home, or find teachers to come and teach them. It also happens. It depends on what you want. It’s fine if it’s beneficial to you. Yeah, next one. Behind there. Run. Why two persons are there? (I want to ask Master a question. Some time ago, the Chinese government continuously sent someone to contact our initiates, wants to get the Quan Yin Method officialized in China. Among them, one government official told our initiates directly that if we continue to apply, we will be officialized. Later, the government wanted to know the attitude of our group toward the Chinese Communist Party. Because in mainland China, if a social group wants to be officialized, it has to support the Chinese Communist Party. At that time, he asked us to provide a report. I would like to ask Master, for our organization in China what attitude or position we should hold toward the Chinese Communist Party?) Express what? It’s your government, so of course you should support it. (Yes, of course all our initiates in mainland China support the Chinese Communist Party. It’s just that they want to know the view of our International Association, including Master, regarding the Chinese Communist Party.) I have no view. I am just a spiritual practitioner. I am not against your government. When they do good things, I also praise them. Understand? I am not against anything. Your government is doing well and is helping many countries. Right? I think they are very good. Communist or not communist, it is just a name. It’s your own country. Of course, you should respect the law in your country, respect your government and don’t do anything against it. Of course, you should respect your government and cooperate with them. Understand? Spiritual practice is different from the society. Whether communism or the free world sometimes it is just a name. Communism is not necessarily bad and democracy is not necessarily good. It depends on the government, if the government is open or not. I feel your government is very good. Otherwise, how can you come here? (Yes.) No matter what. You can come here. Yes? (It’s very good now.) It’s very good already. You have food and clothing. You have enough clothes to wear, have jobs to do and food to eat. (Yes.) These indicate your government is very good. Which area is not good? You see what I mean? (Yes.) It’s very free. You see you can go to any country. And you have food and vegetables to eat, and clothes to keep warm. I don’t feel anything wrong with the government. (The government is good.) The government is good. I have said many good things about the government of mainland China. You didn’t watch them. (We did watch.) (We should abide by the law.) Huh? (We should abide by the government law.) Rules are necessary. (Rules are needed.) Understand? Yes. (Master has been praising mainland China.) Yes, I have! I praise whoever does good deeds, no matter which government, mainland or minor land. Doing good deeds, I praise. Doing bad deeds, I offer criticism sometimes. (Some people know that Master praises them.) Yes. A few days ago, they reported that your president... He told you, “We are a country of faith.” Yes? A country of faith includes the Buddhist faith. It’s very, very good. They also promote veganism. They work with a few large Jewish companies to make vegan foods for people to eat, to produce those vegan foods that look like meat. But they are made in a laboratory, not from killing animals. So the government is great. What other government do you want? You see? You have so much money to come to see me. Even if it takes two to three days, you still can come. This means you have a lot of freedom. Why so secretive? Do you think they don’t know where you are going? What secret? You think you did it secretly. The government knows everything. (Yes, yes.) Oh, nonsense. Their computers are so advanced now that wherever you go, they can dig you out. (Yes.) There is no secret. (They know everything.) What is secret in this era?

Whatever We Want, We Will Have It, Part 9 of 12

A peaceful country is good. No matter which government, it’s good to have peace in the country. You have enough to eat and enough to wear, so don’t meddle with other things. It’s not easy to be a government. (The government knows everything.) Yes. (They choose not to interfere. That’s true.) It’s not that they choose not to interfere. They just think it’s not necessary. Understand? Don’t hold on to that kind of concept. The more you fear the government, the more the government feels you are strange. The government thinks that they have nothing to be afraid of, so why you are so secretive and fearful, doing things sneakily. They allow you to come out and travel everywhere. The country is very peaceful and rarely has war. Is there any? (No.) Little. It has good relationships with other countries. Of course some are not so good, but nothing is perfect in this world. Your country is very peaceful, and is not warring with anyone. No? (No.) The country is very big. It’s not fighting any war. Correct. The majority of people have food and clothing. This is enough. So don’t complain anymore. The idea of “being loyal to the king and love the country” is correct. Don’t ask anymore. Don’t ask about communism or no communism. The country is peaceful and people have food and clothing. It’s wonderful. You are free to go out of the country to have fun. Of course there are conditions. The government is afraid that you might go out and do bad things, so they watch it. And this is not the problem of the mainland Chinese government only. Sometimes that foreign embassy does not allow either. It depends on the relationship too. For example, according to the agreement between mainland China and another country, you can go there for three months only and the people from that country can also visit China for three months at a time. There are required conditions for you to go. This is politics. Your government can’t decide everything. Understand? (Yes.) It involves the whole world. (Yes.) So don’t keep complaining and talking nonsense. You have to be more informed and more observant. Look at the things your government has done. Many of them are helpful to your own country and others. Don’t shut yourself in a cage and think nonsense. Do you understand? (Yes.) OK. Think positively. Don’t just listen to someone else and think negatively, which might create negative things. It’s not good to disrupt the peace in the country. A peaceful country is good. No matter which government, it’s good to have peace in the country. You have enough to eat and enough to wear, so don’t meddle with other things. It’s not easy to be a government. Right? (Yes.) Not everyone will support you. (Yes.) Each one has his own opinion and doesn’t support you. You can’t even control one child in your own family. Sorry. I am not picking on you. I am giving an example. You see, you have two or three children born from yourself and you can’t even control them. The government needs to manage so many people. Mainland China is so big. It’s good already that it’s so peaceful. There should be some rules. Otherwise there will be chaos. If everybody thinks and speaks chaotically, there might be revolution and war, which brings suffering and destruction. Understand? So it’s better for our spiritual practitioners to be at peace and let go. Which one? Any of you tired or want to go to sleep? Go ahead, because I’ll talk a long time. They make me talk a long time. Speak. (I want to convey to You my husband’s wish.) Ah? (I want to convey my husband’s wish. That is…) What is she speaking? is it Chinese? (Mongolian.) Mongolian? (Yes.) OK. Is there anybody who can translate for me, please? Speak. You speak and somebody will translate. Speak. (But I am living in Korea. My husband is Korean. He is building a company in Korea. And he said if You bless this company it will quickly have success.) What does she want to give to me? Catalog of their company, right? (To give the catalog, yes, please.) (In this case it is good for people and the environment, no harmful substances. He created an apparatus which saves petrol, and wanted to get it certified in Korea but could not.) Then what does he want me to do, to certify it? I am not the Korean government. (My husband believes that if Master blesses it then the permit will be granted very quickly. Please give blessing to it.) Can I control your government? Wonderful if I had magic power like that, I would have done it much earlier. What can this do? Just put in a car for environmental protection? It has won an award, right? What to do? I also don’t know. I cannot understand Korean. (It is to be placed on the car’s tires and attach to them by magnets. It helps save gas and absorbs harmful smoke, thus reducing emissions to the environment.) Saves gas? (Harmful.) Ah? (Yes, it’s environmentally friendly.) (It’s made with porcelain, with porcelain and a magnet.) This is his product, right? (Yes.) Please thank them. How much do I need to pay? Don’t laugh. I don’t have money here. How much does it cost? (I do not know the price so far. He just wants to get the permission to produce.) I can’t take it like this. I also don’t know what to do. Thanks. I will try it. (I just want to fulfill my husband’s wish.) OK. Did her husband want to give this to me? (No, no. It is a present.) Thank you but I have to pay. How much is it normally? Do any of you have money? No, my own people. How much is it normally? NT$1,000. Whose is this? It’s mine. Where did you get it? It’s not enough like this. This is not enough. One thousand NT dollars. Whose is it? This is not enough. It must be expensive. (Should she give it to her husband?) It’s expensive, right? Yes, I have to pay him. I don’t know if it can be used. But I will pay the money first. (Thank You, Master.) (How to used it is described in the instruction manual.) An instruction manual, OK, but I have to pay to take it. OK? Who will lend me money? I will pay back later. Not you. The contact persons in Taiwan (Formosa) or someone like that. Or I have no way to pay back. This is not enough anyway. Is this enough? Is NT$3,000 enough? I don’t know how much it costs. More. Do you know his name? OK, how much should it be? (In fact, it’s not for sale. It’s just to be blessed by Master.) She has to know. Otherwise I cannot take it. You have to tell me. Otherwise I cannot take it. (I do not know the price.) Then you take it back. You know very clearly that I don’t accept gifts. OK? If you want me to try, I need to pay. (Then we take the blessed money, just one piece of money.) What? I don’t understand. (NT$1,000 is OK.) Oh, NT$1,000 is not enough. Is this made of porcelain? (Yes, it is porcelain.) (Yes.) So, it’s not very expensive stuff. That material is not expensive. But the value of the invention. (It is a new invention.) Ask her again later to see how much? NT$1,000 is certainly not enough. I will give you NT$4,000. I do have money. I will pay back a little later. Remember which one. You need to get the money from the accountant. OK? The business people here have money. My businesses, OK, please. (No problem.) How much money should I pay? NT$4,000, OK? (The sister said NT$1,000 would be fine, Master. Thank You.) No, no. NT$1,000 is not enough, NT$4,000, OK? Thanks a lot. I will try it. (Thank You.) I will ask those mechanics specialized in automobiles. Then I’ll know how to use it. I will try it. If... If it really saves fuel and is environmentally friendly, of course I will be very happy. OK. Finished. (Thank You.) OK, who else wants to sell things to me? Come here. OK, anything else? It’s good. You can speak Korean? Yeah, you should speak in Korean, no? Just now she spoke Hungarian? I mean Mongolian or Korean? Just now. (Mongolian.) Mongolian? Yeah, you should speak Korean. Should speak Korean, we have Korean translator. It’s better. Never mind, it’s good. I’m not buying anymore. Today, I was also given this one. Supposed to be good for water. It’s OK, this small gift, I can take. It’s from some government people. But I also returned something. Of course, I don’t give him money, because it may be bribery, it’s the trouble. So, I gave something else. I went outside to buy some vegetables and gave to him. Vegetables, fruit, (vegan) cakes, stuff, outside. Because I was… No, no, it’s all for you. All for you. It might cost more, but that’s good enough for now. Because I don’t know the value yet. I only pay you the capital, the material cost. If it’s valuable, you could sell for more, of course. But I don’t know, I have to try. Good? (This, this...) No, no, no, it’s OK. It’s good. Take it, take it. It’s not much, Taiwanese (Formosan) money is not much. 4,000 (NTD), how much is that in US dollar? Thirty? ($150.) Huh? ($150 dollars.) $150? (One hundred something.) $150, it’s OK. (Let me take this and give You this.) It’s OK. You don’t argue with me, otherwise you take it back. I don’t have time arguing. Not only I have to buy and now I have to argue with her. Any other question? No more selling. Yes. I know you don’t want to take money, but I have to pay.

Whatever We Want, We Will Have It, Part 10 of 12

What is my method called? This method is the inner (Heavenly) Light and the inner (Heavenly) Sound. Yes? You know it clearly. If you are scared, don’t come and bother others. The Light and the Sound are our Divine Nature. It allows you to find your true Self. The brighter the Light, the better it is. Yeah. (When I meditate on the [inner Heavenly] Light, in the beginning it’s dark, then slowly it turns into dawn, and to a point of bright Light. But I cannot bear this bright Light. This Light is very, very...) Too bright, right? (Yes, too bright, and too intense.) Oh, I know. (I can’t bear it.) Then you can pause for a little bit and recite the Five Holy Names. OK? (OK.) Take a rest. OK? The cells in our body and the brain have not been used for a long time. They can’t bear the spiritual energy. You will be fine after taking a rest. You look fine. You are not sick, neither are you dead. You are strange. You’re not afraid of karma but you are afraid of the Light. A few of you. I’ve talked about it. Yes? Why do you come here? What is my method called? This method is the inner (Heavenly) Light and the inner (Heavenly) Sound. Yes? You know it clearly. If you are scared, don’t come and bother others. The Light and the Sound are our Divine Nature. It allows you to find your true Self. The brighter the Light, the better it is. (But I make myself continuously chase that Light. I feel like my brain has burned out.) Is it burnt? Oh, smoke is coming out! My God! Your brain is burnt so fast. You see, is there smoke? The real dark, dark stuff, that is hair. I don’t see any smoke. If you are afraid, stop for a while, OK? Take it slowly. This body needs training. Even though we practice inside, this body still needs training. Otherwise, the body can’t bear it. It’s really like this. I said already, for the past three, four, or five years, I have been continuously going up. Sometimes I also could not bear it and I jumped out. It jumped by itself, automatically, because it was too intense. Understand? I couldn’t continue meditating. No problem, you take a rest. OK? (Thank You, Master.) Take a rest, drink a cup of tea or something, and eat a (vegan) cookie. Then do it again. Who is afraid of who? OK. (Another question, Master.) Speak. (Since I was little, the dreams I had sometimes happened in real life after a while.) You have a prophetic sense, prophecy, and can see things before they happen. Prophecy, right? (Presage.) Presage. Then... (For example, when I was little, I dreamed of an earthquake. After a while, the earthquake really happened. Later, before I was married, I dreamed about getting married. Then I really got married.) You don’t need to dream about this. It will just happen. Right? They did not have any dream about marriage, but they also got married. (Then my wife was pregnant.) You also saw that in the dream? (No, there was an old lady who appeared in my dream and she said, “This child will die.” He really died.) Oh, understand. I am sorry. (So I was very, very scared.) I am so sorry. You are still young, so you might have more. You will have. OK? (Thank You, Master.) Don’t be afraid. I am so sorry. (I am really scared.) Why are you scared? (This dream...) Which dream? The dream about the child? (No. I am afraid of this presage of mine.) Don’t be. Don’t be afraid. I am sorry about your child. You are still young. You will have more. Don’t be scared. It was his fate. OK? His fate was like that. In some cases, we owed him a little. So he could only stay here for a few days, a few hours, or a few years until he collected everything we owed him. Then he left. Understand? Don’t be too sad. (Is there any way to get rid of this prescience?) No need. Practice more, don’t be proud of it and don’t rely on it. Then there will be no problem. OK? (OK.) This is because you had some magic power before. You brought it with you when you were born. Some people have no way to bring their power from previous lives’ practice. Some can. So you see Buddha had many disciples and some of them had magic power. Buddha didn’t teach them. For example, Maudgalyayana had magic power by himself, because he had it in his previous life. Or, he did not drink much of the amnesia soup, so he remembered. In your case, maybe you did not drink too much. Maybe that cup was almost empty when it was given to you. Only two drops. (Thank You, Master.) That guy in charge did not see it and thought there was a lot. He did not say anything. As for me, because I borrowed the body from another person to return to this world, I did not drink any of the amnesia soup. That’s why I know so many things. Otherwise, most Masters don’t know anything and don’t even have a prophetic sense. If He is born like everyone else, He wouldn’t know anything. His soul would know. Other people would know. His disciples would also know, but He wouldn’t know. So not every… Not every enlightened Master knows everything like Buddha. I am very sorry for you. Even if we know…. Sometimes our enemy or debtee is our child. We can’t discriminate who is who and still love him. So when he died, we suffer a lot. I know. When my dog died, I suffered a lot, not to mention if it were your own child. If he were the first one or the only one, it would be even more painful. I am sorry. OK, take your time to practice. Maybe you will have higher precognitions. With the higher precognitions, you don’t need to dream to know things. And it will be more positive. But it’s good that you have presage, because in case you are going to meet a bad guy or face a disaster, if someone tells you in advance, you can be prepared. I also have precognitions. But I ignore it. (Thank You, Master.) If it’s good, I am OK. If not, I am also OK. Next. No more questions from mainland China. How about the Aulacese (Vietnamese), or the Westerners. Want to ask? Here. (Hi, Master,) Hi. (may I speak a question in English, Master?) Sure, sure. I’m happy. (Thank You, Master.) I speak better English than many Chinese dialects. (Yes, I try my best. Master, normally when I do the Quan Yin [meditation on the inner Heavenly Sound], I can see a vision like a sky, and in the middle of the sky I can see a circle full of light. A few days ago, when I was here in this Hsihu Center, I see that vision again, but in front of the circle, I can see someone in front, like a god in front of the circle. Master said that when we do the Quan Yin [meditation on the inner Heavenly Sound], normally we should pay attention to the [inner Heavenly] Sound, not to the [inner Heavenly] Light.) Of course, of course. (But that vision comes to me very often so I would like to ask Master, should I pay more attention on the Sound and ignore that vision?) Yeah, just whatever comes it doesn’t matter. It’s OK, as long as it doesn’t harm you. Of course, when we concentrate, even during the (inner Heavenly) Sound meditation, we also see things, see (inner Heavenly) Light and visions. It’s OK. (Thank You, Master.) It’s no harm, no harm. If it’s pleasant to you, you can watch, but no need, okay? Next one. Ah, the Aulacese (Vietnamese), do you comrades want to ask anything? (How are You, Master?) Over there, behind there first. Speak. (Master, I have three questions. The first question is from a sister. She is deaf. Can she get initiation?) Yes. (The second question is about my fixed karma in this life. Am I destined to remarry and have children?) I don’t understand. (Can she get married again and have children in this life?) Why not? (I have been divorced for two years, and am still terrified about marriage and having children.) Then don’t do it again. (I don’t know if it’s a part of my fixed karma. If I run away, will I still pay off the fixed karma in this life?) If you are in love, then get married. If you like him, then get married. I can’t decide it for you. (Then I choose to run away.) If you do, then there’s no need to ask anymore. Don’t think about marriage. Don’t be distracted. OK? You guys are strange. Many people tell me, “Oh, Master. If I had known You earlier, I would not have gotten married but would have followed You instead.” But some people after knowing me still got married. And if there are problems, they tell me, “My God! If I knew marriage is so complicated, I would have followed Master.” You are all like this. If you want to get married, then get married. Try your luck. OK? You were married once. Is it not enough? (It’s enough.) If it’s enough, why ask again? You make your own choice. OK? (The third question is: I just received initiation early this month. Before initiation, I had some inner visions given by Master. But during initiation, maybe because I had a cold at the time, I started to cough constantly and have tears. It’s been a week and I haven’t been able to hear any [inner Heavenly] Sound, nor see any [inner Heavenly] Light. I am wondering if my cough affected the result of the initiation.) Maybe, because you were distracted. You were distracted and did not want to bother others, etc. Then you were not concentrated. Now you are here, please focus your attention more. Then it won’t be an issue. (OK.) Later I will recite the Five Holy Names with you. (OK.) (OK, thank You.) It’s like winning a lottery. OK, anyone else? You? (Dear Master…) Who? (Can I speak Aulacese [Vietnamese]?) Where? OK, stand up. (I am here, Master.) OK. (This is the third time I came to Hsihu this year. The first time, I came at the end of March, beginning of April. When I came here, I had many negative thoughts. But I used my strong will to tell myself, “I come here to meditate, to elevate myself spiritually and to integrate with the Bodhisattvas here, in order to improve spiritually.” Then within a day, the next day, I felt more peaceful. I felt that my spiritual practice is improving very fast. I knew the negative force instigated me, but I strongly used the positive thought to counter it. During that time, I meditated a lot on the inner Heavenly Sound, one day I could do Sound meditation for seven to eight hours.) I see. (And for the past few years, I have always seen the inner Heavenly Light during my Sound meditation. The inner Heavenly Light is very bright and leads the way for my inner Heavenly Sound to go up. I myself feel very calm and free, and I also love to do Sound meditation.) OK. (Last April, the weather was very hot, but I still… When I meditated, I covered myself completely with a sleeping bag and a shawl. But sitting inside it, I felt like I was sitting alone inside a castle. I didn’t affect anybody else. At that time, I was sweating, but I felt very cool. My wisdom eye let me know that those were drops of sweat, but they carried light in them. I kept sitting there to meditate and felt very peaceful and free. People kept asking me how I could bear the heat? But in fact, if I could overcome the heat, then my sweat became the light that made me feel very cool. Now and then, the wind god also gave me a very cool breeze, zoom! And I liked it. Because whenever I meditate, I follow Your advice, I thank the wind god, the tree god, the earth god, and then I felt like all the gods were assisting,) Support. (supporting me to come here to meditate. Every time I came here, I sat in meditation and improved very fast.) Yeah, good. (This is the third time I’ve come here, and I feel very peaceful and free. And I felt that I can integrate immediately with the positive energy here. None of the negative energy could influence me anymore.) Good. (I also have something like what the Chinese brother said. Before, I had that ability opened and thus I could see into the future. Many events are suffering ones. I heard Master said that Master also witnessed all these sufferings, and You had to close it so that You could meditate. After I heard that, I prayed to You to close that for me, so that I may be able to meditate. So until now, I almost always have to pray to You to close that. And now, I could close that already. I don’t want to see that anymore. I only want to see the spiritual things. Anything low or anything about sufferings, I don’t want to see anymore. I don’t want to see the past and future of anyone. I only want God. I only want that. If anyone has the same situation, then try to pray inside,) OK. (to close that gate. We should not look at it anymore,) OK. (there is nothing happy about it.) You’ll get what you want. If you don’t want that, then leave it there. (Yes.) But this guy doesn’t have that… You don’t have earphones? She wants to tell you she had the same experience as you. But you don’t have earphones, so you can’t hear. Later the Chinese can tell him.

Whatever We Want, We Will Have It, Part 11 of 12

Whatever we want, we will have it. If we don’t want it, it will run away. Many spiritual practitioners have obstacles like this. We don’t want that. Those small gods are the ones who helped you before. Now they want to capture you. If they don’t release you, tell them you don’t want it anymore, and ask them to release you, because you want to go to higher realms. She meant to say that you don’t... But this is English. (It’s OK.) You understand? (Yes.) OK. Half-half. She just wanted to tell you that if you don’t want it, you just pray to close that door. But this is just one of those things that you have when you meditate, when you practice, you will have, they call it… In Chinese, it’s called the power of knowing others’ mind and destiny, one of those magic powers. If you want it, keep it. Chinese or English? Chinese. You can keep it if you want. If you don’t want it, you pray to cut it off. If you want the magic power, the premonition. (It came by itself.) I know. If you want it, let it be. If you don’t want it, pray to the inner power to turn it off for you. (How to turn it off?) You pray for it and it will be turned off. Pray. You pray to a higher-level power to close it for you, OK? If you don’t want it. Then you can come back to help them when they are in need. So they’d better not block you so that you can go higher and benefit you both. OK? That’s all. (The premonition, whether good or bad, will come by itself.) I know. I know. When we reach certain levels, things will come, depending on which level. For example, when you pass through the astral realm, you cannot avoid getting a little magic power because you had it before. So now it comes quickly. Therefore, some people have that. For example, if he/she touches something, it will burn. This is not a good magic power. He/she has to try hard to control it. Otherwise, whoever he/she touches will get burned. Or he sees the future and the past, etc. Those can be... If we are attracted to the power, it will hinder our practice. So it depends on what you want. If you want higher realms, tell the inner Master power, “Help me to turn it off. I don’t want to know.” But sometimes it’s good to know, depending on the situation and if you can manage it or not. If you can manage it or not. Nothing is really bad, nothing is good, if you can manage it or not manage it. (But the problem is how to manage it?) It means you have it but are not affected by it. You are not obsessed with it. (No. Here is my thought. I just ignore it whether it’s good or bad, but it still comes.) Then you have to pray and be determined that you don’t want them. You say, “I definitely do not want that. The higher-level god please, help me cut it off.” OK? (Thank You, Master.) It’s good to just live day by day. Why bother? What’s the need to know the future? It’s annoying. Knowing the past is more annoying. It’s better not to know. It’s just that a Master sometimes can’t avoid knowing. He knows what He has to know, no matter the past, the present, or the future. So for certain things, I’d rather not know. But sometimes, those higher-level Godses want to protect me. So Hes allows me to know certain things. For example, some people near me are not good for me. They bring many so-called relatives and friends from last life. He himself might not have the intention to harm me. But his relatives and friends have too much karma and the associated bad, negative energy, which would harm my job. It happened. Like the so-called resident I told you about just now. When he/she touched the light, it went off. Understand? He/she couldn’t turn it on. The light went off. It's supposed to be on, once you press it. But the light was not on after he/she had pressed it for a long time. Then I got mad and came out to press it myself. Then it was fine. I asked him/her to help me turn on the light, because I was busy doing other things. But he/she couldn’t do it. He/she said, “Master, the lamp is broken.” I said, “What is broken? You are broken.” Then I tried and it was on. He/she tried again, but still couldn’t do it. I said, “You have to repair yourself inside. How can you be so dark that even the lamp goes off when you touch it?” Some people are really harmful. They don’t do anything intentionally. Like the Sun, it radiates warmth to us without doing it intentionally. The cold wind gives us chills without doing it intentionally. Understand? The ice cube numbs and hurts your hand without doing it intentionally after you have touched it for a long time. So it’s not that after practicing, we don’t care about anything. It’s not like that. If we know something, we should avoid it. Some people are not good for us. They have too much karma from previous lives. It’s not good for us so we avoid it as much as we can. We do not kill them, but we just avoid them. Take me as an example. Many of my enemies who had harmed me before by using magic power or weapons have come back as my disciples. Can you imagine? And they try to stay close to me! So I had to ask some to leave. Otherwise, if there is too much negative energy around, it would obstruct my movement and my work. If I keep cleansing people’s karma all day long, I wouldn’t have time to do better things. I can’t sacrifice my work for the world for a few or a group of people. So I have to let them go, or allow them to do my work remotely. It’s not my work, but the work of helping sentient beings, like serving at the Loving Hut. It’s OK if they stay a little farther. So it’s better to have love as well as wisdom. Premonition can be useful sometimes. If I didn’t have premonition, or if Heaven did not tell me so many things, I would have left this world long ago. Then I would not be sitting here with you. I would have been dead long ago. Understand? Nevertheless, I still got harmed sometimes and only narrowly escaped. It’s not just the karma of this world. Sometimes the people nearby add fuel to the fire. They are too close and make things worse. They endanger their own lives, or cause dangerous situations for me.It’s tiring to keep running around, so I am not running anymore and let them run. We switch our roles. It’s good to be a little selfish occasionally. Let them go back. I can still cleanse their karma from far away. No need to stick to my side. For example, fire is very hot. So why would you let it stay so close? You don’t want to be too close to fire. It keeps us warm, but we’d better to stay at a distance. OK. Anyone else? I have moved house (a) thousand times, I know what it’s like. I have everything, but whenever I go to a new place, I couldn’t find a thing. So many things and then you don’t remember which suitcase. Especially when I always move in a rush for safety. I always run for my life, since years. And then it’s very troublesome to find things that are really necessary. When you’re moving you think, OK, everything in there and it won’t get lost anyway, you will find it. But when you move to another house and you have (a) thousand other things to do, and you forget which one where you put. Up to now I still did not have what I wanted. I asked them to bring some suitcase from Hong Kong for me, because I left in a rush. I can’t take everything alone with me. A small woman you know, old and all that. And then I told them to bring my suitcase from Hong Kong. They brought two - heavy, big - both wrong ones, both I don’t need, because those are old clothes, stuff like that. Yeah. I have tons of clothes here already. I wanted to get rid of them. And I have no time to even sort them out. And they brought more old clothes, which I don’t even need. You understand? I should have left them in Hong Kong, so even if I went to Hong Kong, I could have something to wear at least, because I don’t normally travel with a big suitcase anymore. I can’t manage it. I have to go in and out quick. And then I told them to bring my two luggage. They brought two wrong ones. Big, heavy, so that I have to sort them out or leave them there. You see what I mean? Take up more space for nothing. And the other one, they didn’t bring and so I say, “Oh, never mind. Just forget it. I won’t die.” It’s just some private things, that one poem that I made. I can’t remember what it is. And I wanted to have that suitcase because I put it in there, together with my diary. Just they didn’t bring it. It’s sitting still now in Hong Kong, somewhere. I would be lucky if I find it. You see what I mean? Never mind then. I understand your problem. I move house a lot. I move a lot, a lot, a lot. These years especially. Since early years of my work already, I had to move a lot. And I lost many things. Not just misplaced, but lost. Because I keep moving again and I don’t know where they are anymore. And after a while, they sold them or they use them because of Master blessing, whatever, I couldn’t find them. Just forget it. It’s nothing really that important, except my life. So, I’m glad I’m still here and that’s the most important.

Whatever We Want, We Will Have It, Part 12 of 12

(Master, I want to tell You that we are really living in grace and miracles.) Good. Of course. But some people don’t see it. It’s invisible to the physical eyes. This eye is not open. (I can feel Master’s Love every second.) Wonderful. I am happy for you. It should be like this. Yes, ma’am. (Master, I just want to thank You so much for spending so much time with us and giving us so much love. And having this magical place open for us at all times. It’s like a refuge from the world, really.) Yeah. (And actually,) I’m glad. (all your teams work so hard for us, to accommodate in any possible way.) Yeah, they do that. They do. (So, thank You so, so much for that.) Thank all the workers: the kitchen team, the hufa (guards), and the technique and the cameramen, everybody. The microphone men. Yeah, they do work very hard. Actually, I asked them to go home already, but they don’t dare to leave me. Normally they guard until five o’clock, when you all go home. But because you short-term, still stay here, and if they can stay, they stay. But that means their wives are waiting or their kids are waiting. And tomorrow they have to go back to their routine work, like everybody else. And you can... Please don’t blame them if sometimes they’re trying to do their job, but it’s not to your liking. Especially if you don’t speak their language, it’s a little bit difficult. They’re just trying to do their job, even though individually we cannot always bear it, it’s just difficult for them also. But I have to thank all the hufa because even if I go shopping, I didn’t ask them to come, they run after me. And I try to run with my golf cart very fast, but they run also very fast. I don’t like hufa around more than you do, it’s just, let them do their job. They’re proud to be the guard. They are proud to do their job. So we respect their sacrifice and their time, their effort. Sometimes I also don’t like hufa. It feels like I’m important when I’m not. I’m not like a president or minister or something that needs a lot of guards around. You know what I mean? It’s just… (We want You safe, Master.) But actually then, when I’m alone, when I’m not with you, I just stay alone. I don’t need any hufa or anything. And if I die, I die. I can’t just bear people 24 hours around me or watching everywhere. When I was in America, I had no home and I loved one of those manmade islands in Miami. I just passed by one time and I just fell in love with this house. Not house, but the location, with the sea. The little island and small houses, just surrounded by water. Oh, I love islands; I think I live in more than dozens of islands in my lifetime. Wherever island, I surely want to go there. And there was one island I rented a house in one island, and I didn’t rent in another island, because the house where I rented has no gate guard. You come in and out, nobody checks your ID or see if your face is familiar or not, whether you’re a resident in that island or not. That’s why I rented that place. Similar island, just next door there is a VIP island, I guess. I heard that the Prince of Monaco even lives there, has a house there. No wonder, outside they have guards all the time checking your ID. You can’t just drive in because there will be a stop, like a metal pole. And if they don’t open, you can’t drive through; you can’t even walk through. So, that’s why I didn’t want that island. Because I hate it when I come in and out, somebody has to look at me. Even if they don’t check me or they know me, I don’t like it. I don’t like people always see that I come in and out. I love privacy so much, that even that’s a better house, better security, but at that time I wasn’t worried too much about my security. Sometimes, but not so constantly like recent years. So I was OK with that and I had people also lived together with me in my house. You know, housekeeper, cooks and then so I didn’t worry too much. But the reason I didn’t rent in that secured, with guard island, because I didn’t like it. But here I just have to work with them; they keep the order of everybody, so that we don’t become too overrun. Also, sometimes people make trouble for me. So they just try to keep me safe and keep everybody at peace, that we have peace in the house, so we can talk about things. But that sometimes, of course will be offending. (There are thousands of us, so, of course… I’ve turned it off. But it’s thousands of us, so we’re really grateful. I don’t know how they do it, how they take care of everybody.) I know, I know. (Guard, kitchen team, everybody, driving team, everybody, they’re amazing. And thank You for having us.) Yeah, OK. (Thank You for opening Your house.) Thank them. OK. I also don’t know. Look at my place, it’s nothing of a place, and everything’s still working well. You have food and you have a place to sit together, in fresh air, but it’s OK. It’s fresh air, no? Yeah? Very warm and cozy, right? I said, “It’s very warm and cozy.” It’s not so bad yet. In winter it’s colder, so I’m trying to think how to house you in another center. I bought another piece of land in the south, which is warmer than here. Maybe if you want, you can follow me there. If I’m not here, people will let you know and then it’s up to you to stay here or to follow me to the south, which is warmer. But I’m now very worried about the vendors outside. If I left and I stayed in the south, then everybody would go to the south and they have no business. We cannot take them with us. We can, it’s just their vegetables, they cannot take everything with them. I don’t know if they’ll follow us there and sell or not. I was thinking really hard today. I was thinking maybe we just take the vegetables and sell it for them and give them back the money. So they don’t have to come. We can buy everything, like every Sunday. Yeah, that’s what we can do. Every Sunday, we buy some, just like the usual business. We buy whatever they normally sell on Sunday, the same amount, similar, more or less, and we take it all over there and we eat together. We need to buy anyway, so I mean, maybe every Sunday they come open their shop and we buy buy buy… and that person brings it to wherever in the south, yeah, and we use it. So, I think they will not complain so much. They will not feel so bad. Yeah, that’s what we’ll do. I think the contact person in Miaoli will be very, very busy. Buying stuff and bringing stuff. We need to rent a bus or something to bring all the stuff that normally they sell here. Because today I went out just a few minutes and my golf cart is full already. Anyway, any more questions? (Master, I often have an urge to come to Your side to protect You, especially this year) It’s not necessary. (at Hsihu Ashram.) Didn’t you see that the guards were blamed by others? (Because I have...) Do you speak English? (If there is something going on in my surroundings, I can usually sense it. And...) I don’t understand. Who can sense what? (The negative and bad things.) You will know? (I know if something comes in.) You will know? (I don’t have magical power, but I can always sense these things beforehand.) How about now? (Nothing now.) Are there bad guys next to me? (And...) Can you see? (And I often feel very sorry for Master. I have that type of feeling.) Understand. Thank you. (I also like dogs.) I can’t help it. To be a Master, I have to be like this. To do my job, it has to be like this. No problem. There is no other way. OK? I also protect myself. I also have invisible Guards. But They are all afraid of you. (Yes. I know You have.) So there is no… (And I want to be a resident, a nun. but I am too old.) Why do you want to be a nun? I am afraid of the nuns and monks. I mean I am afraid of my own residents. (Yes.) No need. What for? What can you do? Why do you want to be a resident? Do you know Kung Fu? (I am very...) Do you have Kung Fu? (I heard Master said that it’s fine as long as we have sincerity and love.) My God! (I think I have a lot of sincerity and love.) Everybody does, but they can’t protect me. Love should be combined with muscles. Understand? (Yes.) For example I cannot just tell my dog, “It’s enough if I have love for you.” Oh, my God! I still have to work. Oh, my God! Oh, no phone to call. It’s OK. At most another half an hour. OK? Otherwise, they will... (OK.) At most. Otherwise, the work is waiting up there. Waiting for me to work. Go on. (Master, I want to tell You that we are really living in grace and miracles.) Good. Of course. But some people don’t see it. It’s invisible to the physical eyes. This eye is not open. (I can feel Master’s Love every second.) Wonderful. I am happy for you. It should be like this. (From the small things like covering me with a blanket for sleep to big life and death matters, I always feel that Master is taking care of me.) Wonderful. Thank you for practicing so well that you can feel it. If we practice well, we will have the positive feeling and the experience. But it’s OK. If you don’t practice well, you can crawl slowly. Just don’t stand there. (Thank You, Master.) Some people stand there and want me to carry them. I am so small. (Every day except for giving thanks, I can’t think of anything else to say.) Really? (Yes.) You don’t have to thank me. Thank you. OK. OK. Any other questions? But thank you for wanting to protect me. Having love is not enough. (Thanks.) You see, did “love” protect Shakyamuni Buddha? Did it protect Jesus Christ? Do you understand? Love is only love, but the world is different. OK. (Thank You, Master. These couple of days I was reborn.) Oh! I have to go. I really need to attend to my work. OK? (OK. Master, we love You.) You should eat. (OK.) Don’t say when you see Master you are full. Don’t tell lie. Go eat. (Thank You, Master.) You are welcome. (Thank You, Master.) I only walk this way. I am very small, no need to move so much. I am small. It’s enough for me to walk this way. Thank you, everyone. (Thank You, Master. I love You.) Thanks for your love. (Thank You, Master.) Wish you have good food. (Thank You, Master.) Good appétit. Bon appétit. Good appetite. See you. (Thank You, Master.) (I love You.) (Master, please take care.) I love you. I don't want to go, but I have to. I love you very much. I also don’t want to go. But I have to. I have to go. Too much work waiting. (Thank You, Master.) Paperwork for the world. I am taking care of the world again. Bye. Don’t forget I love you. (I love You, Master.) Don’t forget that I love you. (I love Master.) Goodbye, everyone. Goodbye. Oh! Getting so fat. Still look young, the same as decades ago, except the hair is a little gray. I love you guys. (I love You!) Thank you, Dharma guards, for staying so long. Thank you, everybody. Thank you for your support and love. Thank you. Thank you for your love. (Thank You, Master.) Thank you for your faith. Thanks. (Thank You, Master.) I love you. Thank you, the translation staff. (Thanks.) Thank you for cooking food. Thank you, Dharma guards. Also thank cameramen and technicians. Thanks everybody.

Партньорството на Сатаната, част 1 от 3

Ще ви прочета история, защото историите са винаги хубави за слушане, интересни, хващат вниманието ни. И винаги имат някаква морална поука. Тази история е в същата книга - Еврейски фолклорни истории.
