Respect for All: International Animal Rights Day

On December 10th 1988, the group Uncaged, now known as the Center for Animals and Social Justice in UK, launched International Animal Right Day, and called for the public’s support of the “Universal Declaration of Animal Rights”, which promotes safeguarding of animal coinhabitants, and calls for the recognition of the right of life, freedom and natural enjoyment.
