“God will come down to a peninsula in the East.”
Approximately 500 years ago, a humble and upright Korean scholar, royal astrologer, and clairvoyant named Nam Sa-go wrote a book of prophecies called “Gyeogamyurok.” The book records major future events along with his warnings and caring advice for his descendants.
Today, scholars believe Nam Sa-go accurately predicted Korea’s steps toward peace, interestingly hiding in his verses the word “Panmunjeom,” the name of the area where peacemaking actually occurred in the past.
Similar to many other prophets around the globe Nam Sa-go also predicted the technological inventions of the modern day, which were unimaginable to people of his time.
“Without seeing each other’s faces, all kinds of languages will come and go through metal lines.”
“The iron horse running through East and West will be like a three-story palace with people sitting inside it.”
It’s said that Gyeogamyurok was secretly handed down within the prophet’s family and was only to be revealed in the “last days,” a time of crisis preceding the Golden Age.
“In the last days, people are foolish, stupid, blind and ignorant (of virtues and ethics), and look down on the rise and fall of their countries as trifles, as grass and straw. Father and son fight over the estate, and husband and wife divorce. The sun and moon are dimmed, and the sky is covered by clouds of dust. Natural disasters bigger than ever will take place. The earth and sky tremble with earthquakes, and fires fly and fall to the ground. All three disasters (flood, fire and wind) and eight sufferings (hunger, thirst, cold, heat, war, violence, flood and fire) will occur at the same time. Worldly people, do you know this is the time (of the last days)?”
Etc…
At this time, when all kinds of difficulties increasingly batter the world, the Savior will finally come to save sentient beings from troubled waters. Thus, the prophet called the Savior “the Sage-King of the last days.”
“The Holy Saint is the chi (essence, energy) in the West coming to the East to save the world. He/She descends from Heaven and appears as a Great Saint. He/She is the Sage-King of the last days.”
Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) had numerous previous lives on Earth, including many in the Western world. But one of Her most well-known incarnations is Lord Jesus Christ (vegetarian) as many of our Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association members have witnessed during meditation.
“There are many crises in the world now, especially the conflict in the Middle East between Israel and Hamas. When I meditated, I saw so many, countless, people who died in that war, and their souls panicked because they left their bodies all of a sudden. […]
A moment later, I saw Jesus appear wearing a white robe, radiating bright Light, awakening the souls in that battle. They folded their hands and prostrated.
Jesus looked at them with His eyes full of Love, and I told them that Jesus is the Son of God, that He has returned to save humans again, and Jesus is Master. At that time, Master’s Light body appeared, and Master and Jesus were one.”
“When Master taught us to recite the Holy Names, I was reciting while looking at Master. I saw Master's face turn into the face of Jesus, instead of Master's face.”
“During meditation, I saw Jesus again. I lay next to Jesus. I saw Him in a white robe, and I was also in a white robe; we were reclining next to each other.”
“In 2018, during the hardest time in my life, I felt despair… On Christmas Eve, a Christian couple invited me to a Christian musical night gathering. After sincere prayers, the wife said in amazement – she saw Jesus holding me in His arms, cuddling me like a baby!! In tears, I knew it was Master comforting and supporting me at my darkest moments! You promised during initiations that all disciples have Master’s manifestation body. Sure enough, a non-disciple Christian saw Master! And Master was Jesus!!”
“Dear Master, in an inner vision during Quan Yin meditation, I saw that You are Lord Jesus returning in this era – the incarnation of Master and Jesus united in the same force and soared up to very high Heavens […].”
“In one lifetime, Master was Jesus Christ and I was one of His disciples, Mary Magdalene...”
“In my inner vision, I saw twelve Apostles of Jesus standing together on a round platform suspended in the universe. The appearances of the majority were Asians, and many of them were Chinese and Taiwanese (Formosan) fellow practitioners I know. There were also a few foreigners whom I didn't know. The Inner message told me that these twelve Apostles have now all returned to the Earth to help Master's work.”

Could this be the meaning of “The Holy Saint is the chi (essence, energy) in the West”? And in this lifetime, She “came to the East” in Âu Lạc (Vietnam) to save sentient beings on Earth.
But also in Her life as an enlightened Master, Supreme Master Ching Hai lived in the West in Germany, and She is a British citizen as well. She came from the West to the East, namely to Taiwan (Formosa) to preach at the beginning of Her mission.
“God will come down to a peninsula in the East.”
Âu Lạc (Vietnam) is located on a peninsula in Asia.
“He is a Son of God and a star in the Big Dipper. Who has received unjustified enmity in the West.
After leaving this world, He ascended a height to have a distant view, kept on watching the world, and, at the time of the latter half of the 20th century, came down to the East to resolve all the enmity.”
The Son of God was unjustly persecuted in the Middle East, which lies to the WEST of Asia. In the latter half of the 20th century, He descended to the Earth as Supreme Master Ching Hai. The prophet wrote more about the exact year when this auspicious event would happen.
“When the chi (essence) of the West runs to the East, in a year with White Tiger fortune, a Taoist priest in the East will be born.”
According to the Calendar of Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches, widely used in Asia, only one year with the White Tiger fortune occurred in the 20th century. And that year was 1950, the official year of Supreme Master Ching Hai’s birth!
Nam Sa-go went even further by specifying the exact month in which this Savior, or enlightened “Taoist priest,” would emerge.
“The one born in Dragon Mountain in the THIRD MONTH, shaking the highest place of Heaven, is the super Taoist priest, a solitary realizer.”
Supreme Master Ching Hai’s birthday is observed on May 12 in the Western Gregorian calendar. In 1950, according to the lunar calendar used at the time, this date corresponded to the 26th day of the THIRD lunar MONTH!
Moreover, Supreme Master Ching Hai was born in a mountainous region in central Âu Lạc (Vietnam). The people of Âu Lạc (Vietnam) consider themselves to be the descendants of the Dragon and Fairy, and thus Âu Lạc is considered a Dragon country. Around Her birthplace in Quảng Ngãi province, several mountains bear the name “Dragon.”
The following verse from Nam Sa-go’s book of prophecies offers even more compelling evidence regarding the Savior’s identity.
“Because of the TRUE BEING WHO WILL APPEAR FROM HSIHU (or also written XIHU), all Saints, Immortals, and Gods from Heaven will assemble Their Heavenly soldiers.”
Amazing! Here, Nam Sa-go has named the exact location where Supreme Master Ching Hai is from: HSIHU (or Xihu).
Why is this “Xihu” the one in Taiwan (Formosa) and not in Korea, China, or elsewhere? The seer gives us more clues.
“In Gabeulgak temple at Gyeryong mountain, purple (Heavenly) Light penetrates the Sun, and the sky is filled with bright-red rainbows.”
In the Korean dictionary “Gab-eul” means “first and second.” The First Temple that was built in Xihu Ashram was demolished, and a second “Temple” was then created called the Holy Forest Meditation Hall.
Gyeryong is translated with the literal meaning of the Chinese characters (letters) “Gye” which stands for rooster (chicken), “Ryong” is for dragon. Could Nam Sa-go be referring to this Chicken and Dragon Mountain in Hsihu?
When Master first bought this mountainous Hsihu Ashram, it was a chicken-people raising area, and there were still many chicken-folk running around. After simple renovating and cleaning up, Master then lived in one of the chicken-people huts. Also the surrounding area has many other chicken-people raising places which Master tried to buy over the years in order to free the chicken-friends and to use the land for a more beneficial purpose, but the other owners did not want to sell.
Furthermore, there is a lake in Xihu Ashram called the Dragon Boat Lake (Long-Zhou Hu) where Master appeared steering a dragon boat with some of Her disciples. A bridge called The Zigzag Bridge (Jiu-Chiu Chiao) and the gazebos, from which to look out, were then built on part of the Dragon Boat Lake.
Additionally, the unusual light phenomena mentioned in the prophecy could signify that Heaven, moved by the Savior’s sincerity and perseverance, would bring about something extraordinary.
And in fact, many of our Association members often saw Heavenly Light that shines all over our Ashram. And Heavenly beings appearing in all their splendor and glory!
“I saw the whole Ashram was filled with bright, golden and beautiful (inner Heavenly) Light. Everywhere I went, I saw that the stones, the bricks, the trees, everything was very bright.”
“I saw there were many Celestial beings, so much Light in the sky. Many Celestial beings were dancing in the sky, the light was so beautiful. […] Then golden dragons appeared on the sky, above this Ashram. They were very giant. Then I was so happy.”
“Master brought a lot of Blessing Power here for the Aulacese (Vietnamese) initiates in particular and for the world-wide initiates in general because all the dragons are gathering here. There are a lot of golden dragons gathering here in the sky. […] The dragons keep flying above during our meditation here.”
Master said before: “Dragons are Heavenly Protectors from the Positive Force.”
“Even before the construction beneath the Zigzag Bridge was finished, I had already seen it completed in meditation. I also saw many dragons fly down from the back hill, and swim happily in the lotus pond.
The Nectar River, built with Master’s Love, may look like a narrow winding stream to ordinary human eyes, but, when I was meditating, the Nectar River transformed into a boundless river and ocean. All the pebbles in the river became sentient beings, and then instantly transformed into radiant lamps - just like those displayed in temples. The symbolic meaning is that they light the path for sentient beings returning to the other Shore.”
