So, people always liked to come and eat my vegan food and disappointed my husband for his (animal-people) meat diet. […] Why do I tell you all this? Oh, because of veganism. Yes, yes. Because I just want to tell you that if people really know how good the vegan food is, they will come for more, and they will learn from you. But I just want to tell you that from my experience, people are really very pitiful when they are not shown the good way. When we show them, they accept. So, it’s our duty to show them. Yes, there are many vegan recipe books around, but if people have not eaten once or twice the vegan food, even if you give books, they don’t read them. They have no idea how good it is. Because the habit is ingrained inside our body, and in our DNA, and in our cells, and in our brain. It’s very difficult to wash away. Unless they have the real experience, then they know, they change.
That is why, for the people who came for initiation immediately after my lecture, for example, or after any teacher’s lecture, without even trying the vegan first, these people, they must be saintly from past life. Because they don’t know anything, and they just do it because they feel they want God above every difficulty. To come immediately for initiation without consideration for the vegan diet later and things like that. That’s why for these people, I have so much respect. They will be the light for the world. They will be the shining example for everyone else to follow. And we should all be like that. Instead of talking, we show by example. We live the life that we want to preach to other people. And that’s the best, the best preaching.
You see, vegan and all that also needs examples. That’s why the initiation, that’s a must for people, because everybody talks about God, God, God, God, (inner Heavenly) Light, and Heaven and all that, but if they are not given the experience personally, it’s very difficult for them to really believe in God. It’s the same. It’s the same. That’s why a teacher, or a friend, an experienced guide is necessary, just to show them a little bit of the things that they talk about. And then they will turn around, and then they follow. You translate? (Yes.) A movie star. You look like a movie star from one of the films we saw, “The Marriage of Muriel”?
